#1 This is just wrong on so many levels. This troop is a kid. He was captured, interrogated, and pled guilty of a war crime. I could get anyone reading this to confess to the same crime in less than three days. He was not an officer ordering executions, I believe he was a private. this seems like nothing more than a PR stunt by the Ukraine government.

#2 He’s a 21 year old sergeant in a tank unit, 49 Pan. He shot a passing civilian in the head, according to the article.

#3 Your correct. Putting a POW on trial like this is a show. This just does not pass the smell test. I cant explain it but is prosecuting a private when the civilian killing is wholesale over there the right answer? Where are the tank commanders that ordered them into civilian sectors etc... I cant really put a finger on it, wish I could.
