#1 so thats what happened to the ones who escaped western Anbar - they fled to Mosul, where a quarter of them were killed - and one presumes, the rest are still being hunted down.

This is a very good pattern - instead of killing a few and then losing the rest when they flee, we now seem to have the force and the intell to keep following them whereever they go, and to exterminate the terrorist fighters.

#3 Banning troops from entering mosques is seriously dumb. Every mosque is now a gauranteed jihadi sanctuary.
