#2 The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the Russian Army has pulled back from the northern outskirts of Bakhmut to “more advantageous positions by the Berkhivka Reservoir.” This means a retreat of several kilometers

This is near Khromove where the Ukrainians are attacking north to meet another pincer coming south from near Soledar.

#3 Looking at Deep State Map, looks like the push to the Berkhivka Reservoir has already made 2km progress. Don't see any progress of a northern pincer moving south. No northern attack? Delayed map update?

To the south of Bakhmut, the two Ukrainian attacks are moving well and look like they could meet in Klishiivka.
