#7 All those DNA tests are showing that identity is a slippery thing here in America. Elsewhere, too, of course, with all those migrations and marauding armies spreading their identities across the landscape... And then on the internet, where no one, ‘tis said, can know if you’re actually a dog.

It does make insulting others more than a bit chancy, as we saw here.
