Russian Tu-95 or Tu-160 strategic bombers launched a missile strike from the Caspian region. Missiles were fired at infrastructure of Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv & Zakarpattia regions. Missile strikes were inflicted on Odesa & Donetsk regions by other means.

#2 Russian air forces shooting missiles to Ukraine from over the Caspian Sea. That suggests to me that Ukraine has been getting good shots at planes attacking just over the border in Russia.

#5 The Rus are blowing up transportation and electric power infrastructure in western Ukr. It is a reaction to all the mil-goodies NATO is sending. Flying all that way is still a bit hazardous at the moment.

#6 /\ ...or the part of the Military-Industry Complex in Russia that owns the airplanes/missiles feels a need to stay 'relevant' so their budget (AKA source of graft) doesn't go elsewhere to, say, the tactical missile makers... (cynical, perhaps)
