#2 We shouldn't be giving money to either side. Billions in aid to Israel, a first world country? They don't need it. I sure wish the US Congress would show such unanimity when dealing with the American people - every time it's time to give money to Israel the vote is overwhelming.

#7 A great percentage of the billions sent to Israel (and Egypt) result from the demilitarization of the Sinai brought about by Kissinger. The Sinai accords brought about the rapprochement that saw Israel leave the Sinai and Egypt maintain the peace with Israel. Money well spent. In contrast, the money spent in support of the Palestinians, at least since 1967, has been money down a rat hole.
