#2 I wonder if the French offered free military advice, while they were selling us out: "When confronted with a highly mobile, combined arms air and armored assault, we recommend concentrating your forces behind a static defense."

I don't subscribe to Sunday Times online, but the rest of this story should be interesting reading. Hope we're not "briefing" France on plans for Korea....

#4 I wonder how much the US Govt (CIA et al) already knew about France's double dealings with us and their comm with Iraq. I cannot believe that we did not intercept any diplo communications between the Aow and AoE members.

#5 I seem to remember that he French were also feeding Milosivich (sp) into during the Balkan Campaign. Tis time to get these guys out of our Intel loop.
