TATP, chemically known as triacetonetriperoxide, was used in SL bombings. TATP is an explosive made from commonly available household ingredients.

Indian intelligence carried out major anti-IS arrests and raids in Tamil Nadu last year, which gave NIA intelligence on a plan about Sri Lanka attacks.

Arrests took place in September 2018.

More raids in December 2018.

After SL immigration allegedly knew that some of the suspects went to Syria and later when you add the discovery of 187 detonators and 220lbs of explosives since January, youre looking at a MAMMOTH operation, which must've taken MONTHS of planning and internal support

All suicide bombers involved in #SriLanka on Sunday were Sri Lankan nationals, well-educated, from upper middle class families, two of them were millionaires. One of them had an undergraduate degree from the UK, and a PG degree from Australia. Typical IS recruits!

#6 given the number of people involved and the time and the logistics required to put this atrocity together, it is astounding that the SL police were caught off guard

and even more interesting, once the military were deployed to investigate, dozens of people were arrested, hundreds of weapons and explosive components were impounded fairly quickly
