#1 other than the MIG-29, the NKor Air Force is well past 'best used by' date and wouldn't last long against the SKor fighters

I suppose what they are really worried about it that the F-35 would wipe out their surface to air capability

#2 Earlier this year, hopes for progress in achieving peace on the peninsula faded as much anticipated talks between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and President Donald Trump in Hanoi collapsed without a deal or even a final communique.

That is the story the media is selling. In the movie I'm watching, that was Pudge taking the latest deal back to the generals for approval.

The F-35s are just a reminder that the clock is still ticking, opportunities will not last forever, and there is no way you can out-compete America.
