Afghanistan is a disaster and will result (is resulting) in the inability of the Euros to do anything useful in Libya, never mind the next crisis.

#3 If Petraeus, Graham, Reid, Obama et al actually wanted to end Jacksonian support for the Afghan war, what would they do differently?

When they should be telling the Afghans "Don't tread on me!" their actual message amounts to "Thank you, Sir! May I have another?!"
