Did they ever? Back in the previous century, I heard an interview on the Beeb with an Amnesia International spokesdroid. After some chit-chat and the usual softball questions, the interviewer suddenly brought the heat: "All we ever hear about is Western evil? How come you never bitch about the bad guys?". In a surprising burst of candor, the answer was "The bad guys don't listen to us."
