There was an article a couple of days ago, saying that the ~~truce~~ surrender of the Paks to the Taliban would free up several thousand Pakibans to join the Afghan festivities.

#5 The difference from fighting Pakistan is that in Afghanistan the Taliban will see no victories and most will die there.
