#5 Guess what? The PLAN (Peoples Liberation Army Naval forces) used to buy TONS of French Navy stuff. Mostly costal defense equipment and some small patrol craft. Maybe the French wan to sell them their used Aircraft Carrier? Although I donât have a lot of respect for the French government, they do produce some really good armaments. This doesnât count when it comes to Carriers. My guess is that they are showcasing some gear for the PLA in hopes to get a buy or two under the table now and more when (and if) the arms embargo gets lifted. Question for the class: Is what France is doing called multilateralism or unilateralism?
