#3 Lutz is dead on. The whole global warming/climate change/carbon tax proposal is the most brazen scam in world history. The criminals behind it are attempting to make a multi-trillion dollar market out of--wait for it--NOTHING! Hell, even the South Sea Bubble had some actual land for sale.

They're likely to succeed, too, since it will benefit a)the enviromental movement, b)strengthen governments (at the expense of individuals), and c)already rich liberals. The fact that it will seriously injure Western economies while greatly aiding the Asian economies that are the world's worst polluters is, for them, an added benefit.

Bjorn Lomborg was, and is, right. The fact that this nonsense ever got half as far as it has is proof of both the dumbing down of Western schools and the criminal dishonesty of Western liberals. And those bastards have the temerity to wonder why 15% of Americans are homeschooling these days...
