#3 Well, that's true, offenders do not repeat offend once they are dead. Thought maybe there was some technology fix. Dismantling or movements of bombs to safer areas by police in the U.S. in dangerous work despite good training, robots, probes, other techniques etc.

The tactics outlined in the Navy Time article are as follows:

Increasing the number of teams that scour roads for IEDs from 12 in 2009 to 75 today.

Encouraging the troops ... to mix with Afghan civilians, earn their trust and receive tips on where bombs have been planted.

Expanding use of planes, drones and balloons with cameras and other sensors to spy on insurgents and detect where they have planted bombs. From Jan. 30 through Feb. 5, for example, the Air Force flew 371 surveillance missions.

#8 Yea AoS, I was a bit short on "editing" and link posting time......other priorities, etc, figured as it was a USA Today Article (clearly sourced at the beginning).... it might be worth the read. Oh yes, I'll mind the "boundries." Please pray for the troops and Route Clearance Teams (RCT's).
