#2 Nice insight into the liberal mind. To the left an NGO is an astroturf organization created to ram through policies. They never consider that the NRA isn't the same, but just a group that represents millions and millions of Americans (who vote).

Also, there is the Constitution. I suspect Biden will try to model California's gun laws nationally as a start since they've mostly been tested by law already. Then he can move forward and make bold claims of his accomplishments.

they could begin various voluntary gun registration efforts or something like that and hope to eventually make it mandatory
