Yes, in this new war of freedom versus fundamentalism I always anticipated appeasement. I just didnt expect the press to be among the first to wave the white flag.

#2 The MSM is like the kid down the street that taunts the dog chained to the tree. Its fun and there's no fear of consequences. However, that same little sociopath will keep his mouth shut when he's around anyone who he thinks can and will clean his clock. Little coward that he is. There's no real courage here. Anyone surprised?

#3 There's a shitload of courage on display here. If the mass audience sees the MSM for the enemy they are, they stop reading/watching.listening to them and the advertising revenues disappear.

This is starting to happen, but really very slowly. It will take 40 years, just like the period of time required to make any major invention ubiquitous.

So the lords of the tube and press are showing great courage in standing up for their beliefs and those of their Muslim allies. It's the mass who can't figure out what is plain as day that are stupid.

btw, on this topic Glenn Reynolds looked great on CNN. Note how the audience sheepishly parrots the network line. Also notice the audience member they get to stand up for them.
