#2 The Kennedys are a clan which gained its general sense of entitlement courtesy of hiring the right publicists and writers eager for fame on the coattails of the subject they praised.

The Chinese have a proverb: Wealth does not pass three generations, so the Kennedys are on their last leg. My guess is that the old man wanted to create a dynasty that could transcend the wealth thing using politics and media, but the wealth thing eventually wins out every time.

Right now the third generation of Kennedys have a choice, and at least they do have a choice: They can go out of the public memory with dignity you'd expect of a family deserving of the public's respect and adoration, or it can be loud and painful.

They have chosen the second path, the painful way.

#7 And somhow overlooked is that little pilot error thingie where one of the CHOSEN decided that the FAA's IFR ratings only applied to the little people and after he crashed, we spent how much money and the MSM had 24/7 non stop recovery operations coverage over this stupid person trick?
At least he took himself out of the gene pool.
