#2 Of those, only around 1,900 women wear the niqab or burqa.

I wouldnt be surprised if the UK beats that figure having seen a growing number in London and Birmingham.

However cant see any UK Govt soon having the balls to do what France is doing!

#3 Thinking about it a bit, I wonder if this is a self defeating idea?

Muslims are now easily recognizable,They wear very distinctive clothing, without the burqa they blend in.

Much easier to bomb and vanish when you're NOT marked out so easily?
