#2 In 1948, the US supplied West Berlin from the air. I'm sure this obstacle is not insurmountable.

#3 This hurts the Pak government and economy more than it hurts us. It's more of a diplomatic opportunity for us. The question is do we have the moxie in our government to take advantage of it? Seems doubtful.

#5 If the Paks ain't there we have no place to short-stage.... most of the flights into Berlin were less than 400 miles one way.....
