#1 Vuhledar has quieted down but not before the Ukrainians destroyed 2 battalions worth of armor. Russians last seen sending soldiers to their deaths on foot.

Vuhledar: 130 pieces of Russian armoured vehicles destroyed in just one week

Judging from that video Russians in Vuhledar have switched to human wave tactics. No armored vehicles are covering this attack.

Small rant: the founder of ISW's husband is Lithuanian whose parents escaped / fled during the Soviet Occupation which makes ISW hugely partial in the matter of this conflict.

Bakhmut: 6 - 6 villages. Can you name 2 more? It's also the only success on the whole Ukraine front at the expense of 30,000 Wagner casualties alone. Other Russian formations are also taking a beating. 6,000 in the past week alone.

??? Kimberly Kagan is American born. She is married into the somewhat famous Kagan family. Her husband is American born. His father immigrated to American as a child. Try again.

Kimberly Ellen Kagan (born 1972) is an American military historian. She heads the Institute for the Study of War and has taught at West Point, Yale, Georgetown University, and American University. Kagan has published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Weekly Standard and elsewhere.[1] In 2009, she served on Afghanistan commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal's strategic assessment team.

Kimberly Kagan is the daughter of Kalman Kessler, a Jewish accountant and school teacher from New York City and his wife Frances.[3][4][5] She received her BA(1993)[6] in classical civilization and her PhD in history from Yale University. At Yale, Kagan met her husband Frederick Kagan, who is an American resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI),[7] son of Donald Kagan, a well-known historian, and brother of Robert Kagan, another well-known writer and publicist.

Petraeus and Keane, eh? Well known names here at the 'Burg. I'm too lazy to look for it, but there is a recent clip floating around with retired General Keane saying this is the West's chance to grind down the ~~Soviets~~ Russians and maybe effect a little regime change by making the citizens unhappy with Putin.
