on Jan 28, the ONE lectured the DC school system and said they needed to be tougher and not close for 2" of snow and ice.

#5 I grew up in Buffalo, NY. Cold and snow are lovely outside, and we dressed for it, but inside my father kept the house at about 76F, even during the oil embargo. How do Chicagoans handle their winter situation?

#6 I think it was the days of -30 degrees (F) ambient temperature at Fort Drum that taught me what real cold was about. I volunteered for Korea to get to a warmer climate, and it was.
