#5 For God's sake, they speak Russian. They are Russian. They don't want to be part of Ukraine or speak Ukrainian or submit to Ukrainian rule.

Why is it so hard to figure out a regional autonomy solution here? This is a trivial task for any experienced diplomat.

#7 Yeah. Sort of like most of New Yourk would like to be other than NYC leftist woke in their governance. Same with most of CA. Same with PeeAye outside of the People's Democratic Republics of Philadelphis and Pissburgh. Same as probably most of eastern Washington state and Oregon. Same as Virginia has for the moment broken away from Richmond and the counties around the Beltway.
