#1 This is what happens when your tax base leaves. Gov. Hairgel also wants to give healthcare to illegals. Taxes have to be raised on those remaining to pay for this.

#2 I'll have to read into this a bit as my SoCal cousin is 100% solar/wind/battery/genset and not connected to the grid, and if it affects him.

I'm sure Sacramento will find a way to ~~extract taxes~~ 'collect fees' from the non-connected if they haven't done so already.
