The "Siberian Tiger" brigade is the SF unit assigned to Shenyang military region. It specializes in LRRP patrols.

The "Night Tiger" brigade specializes in counter terrorism.

#5 There were enough open-source references to indicate (but not verify) that the Chinese has had a few observers in Syria. It would make sense, given that the opportunity would be too valuable to pass up.
