[American Thinker] - Malcolm X once stated that the black community’s greatest enemy was the white liberal. If he were living now, perhaps that perspective would change and narrow to white liberal women. Many of us recognize that white, educated, liberal women are becoming the enemy of any remnants of traditional culture. Nonsense. Female liberals simply have less mouth control. Male liberals are 10 times worse.
Over the last few years, these white, guilt-ridden women have become a force for promoting identity politics and the demonization of men. One does not see this more than in the professions of human behavior and mental health. As an East coast therapist, I have heard stories about microaggressions concerning race, sexual orientation, and sexual identity. For those of us who do not subscribe to this increasingly fanatical, Orwellian creed, we either self-isolate or are ostracized. The silence of dissenting voices is the mandate of these Left-wing females.
...Mental health professionals are less shy about expressing their social justice ideals, but these activities extend to other disciplines of education. Many well-degreed females from all professions are joining together as fair and just sisters to upend society. And to keep males from competing for the jobs
Well g, the American Socialist Woman essentially lives without consequences. In fact the more extreme the act the less likely the consequence. The male of the subspecies lives with 1 eye perrennially cast over his shoulder to make sure he has Her stamp of approval.

It's just looks that way from the outside. In fact they so bitchy because they are totally insecure.
"What if they discover that I'm a total fake?" - common among academics. "What if the bosses like somebody else better?" - common among businesswomen. "What if my current boyfriend will drop me because I didn't want to role-play John Norman?".
If Trump can make the Degree credential match their real market demand (through the extra productivity, not through their low supply) and making alternative forms of testing placed on a similar pedestal then he could smash one of the west's cancers.
The credentialled idiot given a megaphone and a sinecure.
I mentioned Ladbrokes betting lines for the Presidential election recently and I don't know how many of you have interest in it, but I'd like post on something that I think is intriguing and want to run by any of the interested.
One aside - I already have $1,000 straight up on Trump with a client and he left odds on the table to boot (see the link - a Trump bet means $8 on him now gets you $13 when he wins), so that bet is set. He's a huge liberal who may or may not honor the bet (more likely than not?), and I did offer to make the bet lower a few times. A bet's a bet, so I'll report back in if / when that check clears.
Looking further down the list past the two obvious candidates, Kamala Harris (black broad with political seasoning that doesn't include Willie Brown's salty dried loads per se - the obvious kowtow to the mob selection) at 100 - 1 odds made me wonder, and after a few minutes I came up with this. What if two things happen, and I believe will have more than some probability of happening - say Kamala gets the VP slot and then Biden has to drop out because he's a drooling, babbling doofus. Suppose if Kamala then becomes the presidential nominee (NYT / WaPo and everyone else will have the pom-poms out 24/7 until 11/3), won't the odds shift massively away from 100-1 and something like (hell, I don't know) 3-1 odds at best? That number can be argued but you get the point. If you're the gambling sort with semi to moderate risk tolerance, doesn't this one look pretty good to you?
So with those odds, suppose I take a $100 flier on her at current odds? I would stand to win $10,000 and then those two events happen to get to those 3-1 odds. If a bettor / punter wanted to win $10,000 on her, then they're willing to bet $3,333 for the privilege. What I'd love to do (if possible) is figure out how to take my original bet of $100, now worth about $3,333 to someone out there for a little bit less (I'd do it for $3,000 just to have a number on that one) just to take it off my hands.
I do not see Trump losing this election and you now know why. If I could pull this other bet off the worst I'll do is a net $900 win and there's a lot of upside involved if it works. For me, it's a mental diversion from the constant, unyielding bombardment about how Wuhan / Covid-19 will STILL KILL US ALL!

tw - in general bookmakers will change odds to insure the bets (in dollar amounts) are a 50 / 50% split between two teams in the simplified case. Don't know the details for three or more contests but the odds will change depending on someone coming in with a big bet in order to entice someone to go the other way with an opposing bet.
If you were to try to arbitrage the betting markets you'd have to find an enormous discrepancy between two sets of bookmakers - this occurred during mid- to late 2012, when the smart (London-based) money bet on Obama and the stupid (US-based) money was betting on Romney.
Something like that might be opening up soon. Dumb money thinks Biden has this in the bag. Smart money will soon start betting on Trump.

[American Greatness] In December 2018, a well-regarded left-leaning think tank published a 4,500-word defense of the Steele dossier, the document central to the government's charge that Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign colluded with the Kremlin to influence the outcome of the presidential election.
Lawfare, a project of the Brookings Institution, defended the dossier as "a collection of raw intelligence" that was similar to forms used by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to transcribe information obtained by witnesses.

The Brookings Institution, one of the country’s top left-leaning think tanks, has for the first time admitted to Congress that it receives millions of dollars every year from foreign governments, including Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, according to official disclosure forms obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

[Babylon Bee] Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was up all night last night studying for her Covid-19 test, which she took this morning. While her results won't be in for approximately four days, Ocasio-Cortez is confident that she'll receive at least a B minus.
"Literally you guys, I've been awake for like 30 hours right now," she told viewers in a live stream, just before taking the test. "And look at this, I'm still hitting the books!" Ocasio-Cortez then held up a high school science book so all her fans could see how smart she is.
While Ocasio-Cortez stayed up all night studying for the test like a good student, most of the other people at CVS said they hadn't studied at all. Ocasio-Cortez explained that most of the people at the pharmacy seemed to be conservatives, so it’s no wonder they didn’t study. "What we’re seeing here is a complete lack of effort from conservatives, and it’s embarrassing," she explained.
"I've been up all night," the freshman congresswoman tweeted at 5 a.m. "And I now know more about the Coronavirus than probably anyone on the planet. Did you know Covid-19 is literally the most dangerous disease of our time? Another fun fact: you don't actually catch it from drinking Corona. I know. I tested it."
President Trump, after receiving news that Ocasio-Cortez had taken the test and probably done well, immediately took to Twitter: "I’ll take the test right now. NO STUDYING NECESSARY. I guarantee my score will be MUCH HIGHER than little Miss Socialist Utopia-Cortez. Pathetic!"

[NYPost] - Gov. Andrew Cuomo just gave his favorite punching-bag another heavy workout, taking Mayor Bill de Blasio sharply to task for the anti-cop graffiti disfiguring public buildings all over Lower Manhattan.
Too bad he had nothing much to say about the anti-cop politicians uglying-up New York’s public square. Or the spent-bullet casings littering city streets on any given morning. There’s a connection between the two, you know.
"I’m telling the mayor: Cleaning up the city is important. You have a lot of negativity in the air now. Positive progress, move forward," commanded Cuomo during a Manhattan press conference Thursday.
It was another through-the-looking-glass moment for New York, New York — where shootings are up, arrests are way down and the pols all live with their heads in the ground.
It’s no secret that gun crime has exploded in New York — that the city suffered through its bloodiest June in 25 years, that a 1-year-old was murdered July 13 at a barbecue in Brooklyn and that while Gotham isn’t quite yet Chicago, Baltimore or Philly, the trend line is terrifying. Only fair - Willhelm went along with Cuomo’s retirement homes Covid policies.
p.s. Anybody who thinks all this will affect how New Yorkers will vote in November, please call me re purchasing the Brooklyn Bridge.
[American Thinker] - For quite a while now, we’ve been treated to the demoralizing and unedifying spectacle of media outlets and corporations bowing down to the mob’s cancel culture demands. Authors have been banned, editors fired, Trader Joe’s products renamed, statues dragged down, and much more, merely because spoiled, entitled, college-educated snowflakes, secure in their victimhood, have said that words or products hurt their feelings and made them feel "unsafe."
Thankfully, after the first shock of this Maoist attack on American institutions, some are beginning to recover their backbone. First, Goya Foods stood up to the mob. Then Red Bull refused to back down. And now the Wall Street Journal has declined to allow its baby journalists to hold its editorial page hostage.
The back story to the Journal's courageous stand is that 280 employees in the News department signed a letter to the publisher, Almar Latour, criticizing the paper’s opinion pages.
...While the board conceded it was inevitable that the cancel culture crowd would come for it, "as it has at nearly every other cultural, business, academic and journalistic institution," it was unafraid. Or, as it said, "we are not the New York Times." For that reason, the editorial board wrote a declaration of independence from the censorious cancel culture cabal in the newsroom:
As long as our proprietors allow us the privilege to do so, the opinion pages will continue to publish contributors who speak their minds within the tradition of vigorous, reasoned discourse. And these columns will continue to promote the principles of free people and free markets, which are more important than ever in what is a culture of growing progressive conformity and intolerance.
