Epstein Had No Remorse, Compared Having Sex With Underage Girls To Being Gay
[Townhall] Jeffrey Epstein, accused sex trafficker and convicted child sex offender, somehow committed suicide despite being in one of the most secure prisons in the nation this past Saturday, according to initial reports. However, shortly before he died, the billionaire perverted man of mystery gave the New York Times an exclusive, secret interview. This meant the NYT wasn't supposed to cite Epstein as the source for whatever he said during the conversation. But, now that he is dead, the paper released brief details of what that conversation looked like.

While in Epstein's lavish NYC townhouse, the self-admitted social pariah told James B. Stewart numerous sordid tales. The NYT writer says as far as he could tell, Epstein had no remorse for his actions. In fact, he even compared the way the public thought of having sex with underage girls, aka child rape, to the way homosexuality was viewed years ago.

#7  Pedophiles have a psychosis. It has a start, triggers driving them to the next levels, and if unchecked ends up with brutality for the victim. Not all sexually abuse kids become pedophiles, but ALL pedophiles were sexually abused as kids. It is the one common thread. Read "Child Hunters" It is a study by a profiler on this topic. This is not about blaming the parents, it about understanding it, how to see it, where the trigger points are, how they can get help, and when its too late and there is no form of help to stop them except prison. It also explains that this is a psychosis and castration wont help, its mental, not testosterone, cut the appendage off and he will use something else for the abuse. It also explains the female facilitator in all this. The book is not political or emotional. And the book does not end on a happy note with a "Here is how to fix it". Rather it explains that the Epstein's are minor side shows in this pervasive global tragedy.

Drinking bleach will not cure cancer or autism, FDA warns
Neither will throwing yourself down the stairs.
[NBCNews] Federal regulators issued a warning Monday urging people not to drink a chlorine dioxide solution that is often promoted online as a remedy for autism, HIV/AIDS, cancer and other conditions.

The products — known as Miracle Mineral Solution, MMS and Chlorine Dioxide Protocol among other monikers — have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and can have life-threatening side effects, the department said in a news release.

Death toll rises to 44 as typhoon Lekima wreaks havoc in eastern China
[DAWN] The corpse count from typhoon Lekima in eastern China rose to 44 people on Monday morning, according to official data, as the storm continued up the coast, racking up billions of dollars in economic losses and widely disrupting travel.

An additional 12 people were recorded dead from the storm, including seven from Zhejiang province and five from Shandong, with 16 people missing, according to data from provincial emergency bureaus and state media.

State broadcaster CCTV had put the corpse count at 32 on Sunday.

Typhoon Lekima made landfall early on Saturday in China’s Zhejiang province, with winds gusting up to 187 kmh (116 mph). The center of the storm has since traveled north through Shandong and off the coast.

Many of the earlier deaths occurred when a natural dam collapsed in Zhejiang after a deluge of 160 mm (6.2 inches) of rain within three hours.

The Shandong Emergency Management Bureau said more than 180,000 people were evacuated in the province, adding to an earlier evacuation of roughly 1 million people in Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces as well as the financial hub of Shanghai.

The latest update from Shandong brings the total estimated economic toll of the storm to 18 billion yuan ($2.55 billion) in China, including damage to 364,000 hectares of crops and more than 36,000 homes. Shandong alone estimated the total economic impact on agriculture was 939 million yuan.

US and Britain discuss trade deal that could take effect on November 1
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Britannia and the United States are discussing a partial trade accord that could take effect on November 1, the day after Britannia is due to leave the Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...

The official also said visiting US national security adviser John Bolton and British trade minister Liz Truss had discussed the possibility of the two countries’ leaders signing a road map declaration toward a trade deal at this month’s G7 summit meeting in La Belle France.

The official told news hounds that Bolton and British finance minister Sajid Javid had discussed the possibility of a temporary trade agreement that covered all sectors and could last for something like six months.

During his two-day London visit, Bolton told British Prime Minister Boris Johnson that President Donald Trump

on October 31 and that Washington would be ready to work fast on a US-UK free trade agreement.

Bolton, who has now left Britannia, was seeking an improved US-British relationship with Johnson after sometimes tense ties between Trump and Johnson’s predecessor, Theresa May.

Radiation up to 16 times the norm near Russia blast site
[Dhaka Tribune] The explosion at the Arctic facility on Thursday killed five scientists with Russia's nuclear agency, which later confirmed they were involved in testing new weapons

Radiation levels were up to 16 times the norm in a nearby town after a kaboom at a Russian missile testing site, the national weather service said Tuesday.

The explosion at the Arctic facility on Thursday killed five scientists with Russia's nuclear agency, which later confirmed they were involved in testing new weapons. More victims were hospitalized.

Rosgidromet, the weather monitoring service, said its sensors in Severodvinsk, a town about 30km from the Nyonoksa test site, registered gamma radiation exceeding background levels by "four to 16 times."

Rosgidromet said the levels were higher at six out of eight of its stations in Severodvinsk and that levels returned to normal after 2.5 hours.

One of the sensors registered a level of 1.78 microsieverts per hour, well above the local average but far below dangerous levels.

Russia's Rosatom nuclear agency has said its staff were providing support for the "isotope power source" of a missile and were thrown into the sea from the testing platform by the force of the earth-shattering kaboom.

US experts have linked the incident to the 9M730 Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile touted by President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
earlier this year.

Local authorities in Severodvinsk last week initially published information about the spike in radiation, but later deleted it and a local official said that radiation levels were not above the norm.

US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
on Monday said the United States "is learning much" from the earth-shattering kaboom and claimed that Washington has "similar, though more advanced, technology."

Trump says US learning ‘much’ from Russia missile test blast
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] President Donald Trump
...the Nailer of NAFTA...
said on Monday that the United States is learning "much" from a deadly blast during a Russian missile test that caused elevated radiation levels.

"The United States is learning much from the failed missile explosion in Russia. We have similar, though more advanced, technology," Trump wrote on Twitter.

"The Russian ’Skyfall’ explosion has people worried about the air around the facility, and far beyond. Not good!" the president tweeted.

Experts have linked the blast - which killed at least five people - to the 9M730 Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile, known by NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all....
as SSC-X-9 Skyfall and touted by President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
earlier this year.

Trump’s assertion that the US had similar technology was quickly challenged by American expert Joe Cirincione.

"This is bizarre. We do not have a nuclear-powered cruise missile program," Cirincione tweeted.

"We tried to build one, in the 1960’s, but it was too crazy, too unworkable, too cruel even for those nuclear nuts Cold War years," he wrote.

The accident took place at an Arctic military facility on the coast of the White Sea on Thursday, but Russian authorities only admitted its nuclear nature on Saturday.

The missile was being tested on a platform at sea when its fuel caught fire and caused a kaboom, Russian nuclear agency Rosatom said. Several staff were blown into the sea by the blast.

Russian police probe video of officer beating woman
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Russia’s interior ministry opened an investigation Monday after a video showing a riot policeman punching a woman in the stomach during a protest for free elections went viral.

The video, which has more than 360,000 views, shows a young woman dragged by four masked policemen in riot gear, with one of them punching her in the stomach for no apparent reason. The images provoked outrage in the media and on social networks.

China denies Hong Kong port visit for US Navy ships amid tensions
[AlAhram] China has denied a request for two U.S. Navy ships to visit Hong Kong in the coming weeks, U.S. officials said on Tuesday, as the political crisis in the former British colony deepened.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the transport dock ship Green Bay had requested to visit later this month, while the guided-missile cruiser Lake Erie had requested to visit in September.

One of the officials said a specific reason was not given, but such a move is not unprecedented.

The last time China denied a port visit to Hong Kong was for the assault ship Wasp in September 2018. The amphibious command ship Blue Ridge made a port visit to Hong Kong in April.

The move comes as police and demonstrators protesting against Beijing's growing influence in Hong Kong clashed at the international airport on Tuesday after flights were disrupted for a second day.

In Washington, President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
said the Chinese government was moving troops to the border with Hong Kong and he urged calm.

Trump said the situation in Hong Kong was tricky but he hoped it would work out for everybody, including China, and "for liberty" without anyone getting hurt or killed.

On beyond Veritas: Google Insider Turns Over 950 Pages Of Docs And Laptop To DOJ
Trust busting to follow? One can only hope, since reforming themselves is not a possibility.
[SaraACarter] A former Google insider claiming the company created algorithms to hide its political bias within artificial intelligence platforms ‐ in effect targeting particular words, phrases and contexts to promote, alter, reference or manipulate perceptions of Internet content ‐ delivered roughly 950 pages of documents to the Department of Justice’s Antitrust division Friday.

The former Google insider, who has already spoken in to the nonprofit organization Project Veritas, met with SaraACarter.com on several occasions last week. He was interviewed in silhouette, to conceal his identity, in group’s latest film, which they say exposes bias inside the social media platform.

Several weeks prior, the insider mailed a laptop to the DOJ containing the same information delivered on Friday, they said. The former insider is choosing to remain anonymous until Project Verita’s James O’Keefe reveals his identity tomorrow (Wednesday).

He told this news hound on his recent trip to Washington D.C. that the documents he turned over to the Justice Department will provide proof that Google has been manipulating the algorithms and the evidence of how it was done, the insider said.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai told the House Judiciary Committee in December, 2018, that the search engine was not biased against conservatives. Pichai explained what algorithm’s are said Google’s algorithm was not offensive to conservatives because its artificial intelligence does not operate in that manner. He told politicians, "things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it" are what drives the search results. Pichai said even if his programmers were anti-Republican, the process is so intricate that the artificial intelligence could not be manipulated and it was to complicated to train the algorithm to fit their bias.

Google did not immediately respond for comment on the insider’s claims, however, this story will be updated if comment is provided.

#6  Recently, I saw a news story (maybe here) about a Google guy testifying that Google had the capability through manipulation of its AI algorithms of shifting 15 mil votes. Couple this with social media bias and there is a huge problem for the country.
Posted by: JohnQC || 08/14/2019 9:55 Comments || Top||

#7  I think it's as Glenmore said. An individual, a company, a newspaper, a magazine, google... it's part of basic rights to be able use your entire commercial enterprise to try and sway public opinion.

As long as dissemination of slanderous or inaccurate information is not sold to the public as 'facts' and 'news'. The media plays this game within the boundaries of legal ethics. For example, many leftist articles we see pose as centrist, left-of-center, but contain verbiage leaning toward insulting and deprecatory of right-wing views and Trump in ways not immediately overt.

The search engines and soc-media enablers of democrat propaganda can filter out right-wing views and facts of the Trump administrations achievements, not removing them, but burying them under page selections of alternatively irreverent or sanctimonious articles and reports that vilify or heckle the Trump administration. A search on google for right-wing contexts will lead you to more results making fun of them. A search on Amazon, for books on Trump or any right-wing concern will give you more leftist shit with five-stars, signaling you are an oddity in an otherwise saner world that hates Trump.

If they want to do that, they can. It won't work though. They are democrat supporters who are campaigning through their enterprises.

But how can you legally shift votes ? Only by convincing people and converting them to your way of thinking.

I reckon that the people have had their fill of digital media, and it's ability to infect minds is overestimated. When they look at republican cities, counties, businesses and compare the Obama regime with Trump's efforts, his people - I'm sure the democrats seem like a joke to the voter.

#9  It’s a criminal Anti-trust issue.

Anticompetitive conduct and monopolization — it’s been illegal since the common law days; & powerful federal laws passed in 1800s to rein it in. DOJ has a whole Antitrust Division. Big Tech, rightfully, better worry . . .

LOL, couldn’t happen to a more deserving group.

#10  1. Force G to divest YouTube.

2. Require GAM (Google Ad Manager) to subject itself to periodic audits of its bid management practices.

3. Require Google to subject itself to periodic A/B tests comparing search results for a) Democratic candidates and left-leaning media coverage and b) corresponding GOP candidates and right-leaning media coverage.
3.

#11  Google is not an ordinary media company competing with others in the public square.

Google's 90% dominance of search renders it, de facto, the gatekeeper for digital information, news and assistance.

It is and must be viewed as a public utility akin to the electrical grid or the interstate highway system.

At a minimum it should be intensely regulated and forced to be transparent as to how its algorithms prioritize search results. More likely, search should become a regulated public utility a la electricity or highways.

#12  If search became a regulated public utility, that would certainly be good. Yes, force them into complete transparency. Break the monopoly too.

#13  Telecoms’ license to engage in commerce can and should be regulated by government to promote the public welfare. Until the government reigns them in, monolithic Telecom companies will continue censoring those they dislike—until the Common Carrier Doctrine is imposed against them. Antitrust action also would be appropriate.

It cannot be disputed that (as private companies) these monolithic Telecom companies have no obligation to comply with the First Amendment. They are not government entities subject to the First Amendment. They laugh every time we claim a civil rights violation to our free speech— because they think they’re safe as private companies to run roughshod over conservatives as much as they please.

However, the Telecoms forget that they cannot be allowed to violate the Common Carrier Doctrine —“come one, come all . . . each to be given fair access and passage."

They also cannot be permitted to continue their criminal Antitrust activities . . .

The imposition of the Common Carrier Doctrine will likely need to be through Congressional Act (although the Courts could certainly equitably find common carrier status easily enough for almost any of these monolithic Telecom companies under current law). And, given the clear coordination between the Telecoms, the DOJs Antitrust Division should take action, as well.

Until the Common Carrier Doctrine is imposed, or an Antitrust action reins them in, these unregulated monolithic Telecom companies will continue their discriminatory abuses of conservatives—hiding behind the false claim of a private right to content-based discrimination.

#14  Now, that's a sound argument the judicial committee probably won't make.

Cingold, I thought the common carrier doctrine applied to transit administration only ?

#15  It doesn't seem right that companies such as Google should:

1. Promote left-wing candidates and left wing materials and left-biased websites, while at the same time,
2. De-emphasize conservative candidates, and shadow ban and censor conservative web sites, and demonetize authors they don't agree with.

It is not a level playing field. It is very much like a tech way of election-rigging.

#16  Google is a publisher hiding under the veneer of a service provider.

#17  As early as 1934 telecommunications services were considered to be subject to common-carrier regulation. The history since then is complicated, but telecommunications services are still easily considered to be common carriers. See, e.g., Direct Communs. Cedar Valley, LLC v. Federal Communications Commission, 753 F.3d 1015 (10th Cir. 2014).

A common carrier is “A commercial enterprise that holds itself out to the public as offering to transport freight or passengers for a fee. • A common carrier is generally required by law to transport freight or passengers or freight, without refusal, if the approved fare or charge is paid.” Common Carrier, Black’s Law Dictionary 242 (9th ed. 2009).

Newark handing out bottled water as lead levels test high
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Some Newark residents are getting bottled water after elevated lead levels were found.

The city has given thousands of filters to residents in homes with lead service lines.

But the US Environmental Protection Agency said recent tests showed drinking water in a few locations was still testing high for lead despite the filters.

Water was available at four locations in the city on Monday.

An environmental group sued the city last year, saying Newark’s water has dangerously high lead levels and alleging that the city has failed to conduct adequate monitoring.

The Natural Resources Defense Council said on Monday it is seeking a court order to force the city to go door-to-door to instruct residents on how to use the filters.
