#2  Diplomacy to win us an observer status at the OIC. A step toward putting Pakistan in its place. All long-term strategy toward a 'Stain free Asia.

India has had 700 years of muslim history too, and a sizeable population of progressive, rich muslims. From film industry studios to manufacturing and export and several international companies are owned by Indian muslims who favor a right-wing hindu govt. If someone wants to see a truly 'domesticated' muslim population cooperative with the law and politically active within the limits of reason, they come to India. This brings the country immense respect and dignity at any table of islamic nations. Giving India the image of a nuclear capable state that islamic nations (except pak) can see as friend, alienating Pak - truly the world's no.1 exporter of terrorists and criminals.

We also supported the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, and have been building a rapport with their moderate leaning pro-democracy groups. Indian clandestine services are fighting a stealth war against the Pak ISI which aids the taliban in destablizing Af.

Education and infrastructure is one thing that aids the civilizing influence of democracy, and to ensure that the rag-head Mad Max existence doesn't become the norm for Afghan youth, it was necessary to set up libraries, universities, film and broadcasting capabilities, introduce some culture destroyed by war and regressive islamist idiots. Curriculum designed in New Delhi teaching sub-continental history and sciences, weaning them away from desert idiocy. A pull-out by the US puts everything in danger here of slipping back into camel dung. But we must keep up the diplomatic influence we gained at least.

Sudan army, protesters to resume talks on transitional council
[Al Jazeera] Protest leaders in Sudan have agreed to suspend a civil disobedience campaign launched after a bloody crackdown on demonstrators and resume negotiations with the country's ruling generals on the formation of a transitional sovereign council, an Æthiopian envoy has said.

Speaking to news hounds in Sudan's capital, Khartoum, Mahmoud Drir said the Transitional Military Council (TMC) had also agreed to release political prisoners as a goodwill gesture, without giving details.

"The Freedom and Change alliance agreed to end the civil disobedience (campaign) from today," said Drir, who has been mediating since a visit by Æthiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed last week.

"Both sides have also agreed to resume talks soon" on a handover of power to a civilian administration, he added.

Southwest State leader sends stern warning to local forces
[RADIOSHABELLE] The president of Somalia’s Southwest State, Abdulaziz Hassan Mohammed who is known as [Lafta-Gareen] has warned his regional forces against harming the civilians in Bay, Lower Shabelle, and Bakool regions.

The leader said that his administration will not tolerate the killing of the unarmed people or harassment against them, vowing tough punishment for any soldier found guilty of mistreatment.

Lafta Gareen has, on the other hand, condemned the latest murder of a Rickshaw driver in the outskirts of Mogadishu over extortion money by a soldier who expeditiously departed at a goodly pace following the shooting.

Southwest state has been stable in the past few months as the regional troops, along with SNA and AMISOM increased routine operations against al-Shabaab

Britain
‘Extraordinary & persistent illegality': UK's MI5 accused of mishandling bulk surveillance data
[RT] UK domestic counter-intelligence service MI5 has been accused in High Court of violating data collection and storage privileges by storing private citizens’ information in bulk without proper protections.

MI5 has no control of its storage of vast volumes of people’s calls, messages, web browsing history, as well as other personal data that the agency has managed to obtain on the basis of surveillance warrants, which were often issued under false pretext, the High Court heard on Tuesday in a legal challenge brought by the human rights organization Liberty.

#4  Someone tell me, why are we still allied with them?

What I heard is our free, ruinously expensive military protection, combined with the massively unfair trade agreements that net Europe $170 billion a year (free college for all Americans $60 billion a year, Trump's wall $25 billion one time) buy us compliance with our policies.

It seems this is not so. Why are we paying for them? We're not even getting what we bribed them for. At this point, who can say that Europeans are anything but hostile to our interests?

Hey, I've got the solution. Just call them human shields and we can start murdering their civilians tomorrow. Like we did at Dresden. This one simple semantic reclassification makes it OK to kill as many as we need to fulfil our objectives. Warm up the B52s, I can't count how often Rantburgers call for them as a solution to our problems. Because mass murder works!

Three Jihadists, 9 Children Expelled to France from Turkey
[AnNahar] Three French jihadists and their nine children returned to La Belle France on Tuesday after being expelled by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
, legal sources said, a day after La Belle France took back 12 children of French jihadists from camps in northern Syria.

The returns mark an acceleration in the repatriation of children of Frenchies who travelled to Iraq or Syria to join turban groups, amid growing pressure on Western countries to take back their combattants.

The three adults -- a 35-year-old man and the two mothers of his children -- were taken into custody and the children were placed under the protection of the state.

The French foreign ministry stressed that the trio's return was unrelated to the repatriations of children from French jihadist families stranded in Syria. A second group of 12 children, mostly orphans, was flown to La Belle France on Monday, following on a first group of six children in March.

The man and two women handed over to La Belle France on Tuesday were held in a detention centre in Turkey before being expelled, one of the legal sources said.

Another source said that the man and one of the women aged 36 already had children when they travelled to the Middle East and then had more children in the region.

The second woman also had a child when she arrived in the region. She and the man later also had children together.

At the end of May, the number of jihadists who had been returned to La Belle France stood at 277, according to official figures. Many were handed over by Turkey.

Separately, the government has been working with Syrian Kurdish authorities, who are pressuring foreign nations to take back jihadist families languishing in detention centres or sprawling camps in Syria's northeast. So far the French government has baulked at taking back adults, focusing mainly on young children who are orphaned.

Iraq would restore 15,000 antiquities from U.S. soon: PM
Normalcy now is become restorable.
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi said on Tuesday that his country would restore 15,000 ancient artifacts from the United States soon.

"Iraq was and will always remain a cultural and historical center, and we must make use of this great legacy to build the present and future of the country," Abdul-Mahdi said during his visit to the National Museum of Iraq.

Hailing the museum as "a great learning and humanitarian edifice," the prime minister pointed out that about 15,000 monuments will be restored from the U.S. soon.

The museum is home to a large number of antiquities dating back to various pre-modern, modern, contemporary and Islamic periods.

Abdul-Mahdi called for drawing the world attention to the National Museum, which he said is unique in terms of the monuments being displayed there.

After capturing the second largest city of Mosul, the IS group released a series of videos, showing its members smashing artifacts at Mosul Museum and blowing up parts of the site of the Assyrian capital of Nimrud.

Several activists, officials and historians condemned IS at the time for the destruction of the ancient Assyrian archaeological sites, while UNESCO described the act as a war crime.

Weekly Gaza protests to focus on US Ambassador Friedman
[Ynet] After a one-week respite, sources in Gazoo announced that the weekly Friday protests at the border will be renewed this Friday and will focus on protesting a statement made by US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman that Israel has a right to annex sections of the West Bank.

Those behind the weekly border protests announced that the slogan for this week's protests will be "No annexing the West Bank, Friedman shut up." Last Friday, when Moslems celebrated Eid al-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan, there were no protests at the border.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth ordered the space pirate fleet to attack Zemblonia...
the balloon terror continues. On Monday, JNF officials and park rangers said that there were several fires, assumed to be a result of incendiary balloons launched from Gazoo, in the Kisufim, Magen and Simchoni woodlands, as well in a wheat field near Kibbutz Kfar Azza, where more than 100 dunam of wheat were destroyed.

White House confirms Egypt, Jordan and Morocco attendance at Bahrain summit

Lebanon says it will not attend US-led economic peace summit in Bahrain

[IsraelTimes] Leb’s Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil announces that his country will not participate in the US-led economic peace summit in Bahrain later this month.

Bassil says that Beirut will not be attending because the Paleostinians will not be there. Moreover, he says that not enough information has been given about the plan for them to play along.

However,
you can observe a lot just by watching...
it is not clear if the US invited Leb to participate.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
U.S. Imposes Sanctions on Syrian Mogul for Aiding Assad
[AnNahar] The United States on Tuesday imposed sanctions on Samer Foz, a Syrian industrialist behind high-end developments, including the Four Seasons hotel in Damascus, for allegedly enriching Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Before going into the family business Pencilneck was an eye doctor. If he'd stuck with it he'd have had a good practice by now...
"This Syrian oligarch is directly supporting the murderous Assad regime and building luxury developments on land stolen from those fleeing his brutality," Sigal Mandelker, the undersecretary of the treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence, said in an announcement.

Syria Says No To Restoring Ties With 'terrorist-Supporting' Hamas
But how is the Iran-Hezbollah-Hamas pincer supposed to destroy Israel if Hamas is not connected to Syria?
