[CBSMiami] — The Hallandale Beach Police Department has announced the arrest of a man wanted for hurling anti-Semitic slurs and dumping a bag of feces outside a synagogue.
Jeffrey Fleming is being charged with stalking with an enhancement for a hate crime and for littering human waste.
The Chabad of South Broward said they’re beefing up security following the acts of hate.
One man who attends the Hallandale Beach synagogue told CBS4 he has been the target of hate at this same location in the past.
"He actually greeted us by saying, ’Shabbat shalom’ and we were like, ’Shabbat shalom,’" said Joe Messa. "When we got 10 feet away from, he goes, ’Even though I’m a Nazi,’ he screams to us,
...the old-fashioned Aryan Nazis would be startled to see the likes of him among them...
’And I want to kill you all one by one.’" Another very swarthy White Supremacist
Messa said acts of hate towards himself and others in the Jewish community are a harsh and perpetual reality.
According to Hallandale Beach police, officers responded to the Chabad of South Broward on Saturday.
The woman who called police said she saw a man dump a large bag of human feces on the sidewalk and shouted, "Jews should die."
CBS4 was first to obtain surveillance camera footage of an incident earlier that day which shows the same man spitting at the Menorah in the parking lot.
He was dressed in all white and riding an electric bicycle.
The Anti-Defamation League tracks incidents of hate.
Their data shows that Florida saw a near 40% increase in anti-Semitic incidents between 2019 and 2020.
The ADL also said Florida is one of the top states for these kinds of acts.

[NYPost] An alleged Brooklyn bigot arrested for toppling a crucifix at a Bensonhurst church last week has also been charged with torching a Boro Park yeshiva and synagogue.
Ali Alaheri, 29, was arrested Friday in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Arson and Explosives Task Force, and the NYPD Hate Crime Unit.
Alaheri was captured on surveillance video piling garbage bags against the side of a building at 1128 36th Street, the home of Yeshiva Heichal Hatalmud of Boro Park, and setting them on fire shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday, according to federal court papers. The FDNY quickly put out the flames.
A week earlier, Alaheri allegedly attacked a crucifix and set an American flag on fire at St. Athanasius Church on Bay Parkway at 61st Street, according to the NYPD, who announced his arrest in the incident early Saturday.
Gov. Cuomo had slammed the May 14 incident at St. Athanasius as "an act of hate."
It’s not clear what inspired Alaheri’s alleged actions.
Surveillance video played a key role in Alaheri’s arrest in both incidents, authorities said. He was allegedly caught on camera lingering around the yeshiva for hours, hopping in and out of a nearby vehicle several times and changing his clothes several times, and at some point, stopped to set the fire, authorities said.
Moments after he left the car for the last time, the camera picked up Alaheri again, "punching a Jewish man multiple times in the head with no provocation or prior interaction," the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York said in a criminal complaint. The man had been sitting in front of a nearby auto body shop when Alaheri attacked, according to the complaint.
Alaheri then jumped over a fence into an alleyway about two blocks away, stole a bicycle and rode off, according to prosecutors, who said Alaheri’s getaway was caught on surveillance video and in photos taken by a bystander.
Less than an hour later, Alaheri was ticketed by NYPD in Prospect Park for riding a bicycle in the wrong direction along a bike path. He showed the cops two forms of ID: an EBT, or food stamps, card and a state ID, and was videoed by their body cameras.
Separate footage shows a man matching Alaheri’s description outside St. Athanasius, federal court papers said.
That video shows a man wearing a gray sweatshirt and khaki pants, carrying a hammer in his back pocket, and walking toward the church from a block where several 911 callers reported a man trying to steal a bicycle.
The man can be seen setting fire to an American flag near the church, and walking toward a statue of Christ outside the view of the camera.
The statue and a crucifix were found damaged the following morning. "The face of Jesus was on the ground—in the dirt," Monsignor David Cassato, the pastor of St. Athanasius recalled Saturday.
A Brooklyn man facing federal arson charges for trying to set fire to a yeshiva is also connected to vandalism at a Catholic church and two assaults in the borough, according to officials.
Alaheri is also connected to an assault on a Hasidic man just blocks from the yeshiva and on a Black man in the subway a few weeks earlier, documents show.
Alaheri has been charged with arson and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted, officials said.
He was initially charged with criminal mischief as a hate crime for the vandalism at the church, though, according to the New York Times

[ToloNews] Eight security force members were freed from a Taliban ...Arabic for students... prison in an operation in northern Baghlan on Sunday night, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement on Monday.
The operation was launched in Amarkhil village of Baghlan-e-Jadid and the security force members who had been taken captive were released, it said.
In the meantime, a security source said that two security forces members were killed, and another was maimed during the operation.
The MoD did not comment on the possible casualties of the security forces during the operation.
The Taliban has not yet commented over the operation.
Baghlan province in the north is also faced heavy fighting between the government forces and the Taliban over the last week. Some areas in Baghlan-e-Markazi district that were under Hizb-e-Islami fighters’ control, as well as the Pul-e-Khumri — Kunduz highway, have fallen to the Taliban and at least 10 security force members have been either killed or maimed in the festivities in the last 24 hours, according to local sources.
The recent festivities in Baghlan have displaced thousands of families in the province, according to local officials.

The Taliban captured the center of Dawlat Shah district and then attacked Alisheng and Alingar districts as well as Mehtarlam city, the center of Laghman. At one point they came close to the prison in Mehtarlam, which is almost 5 kilometers from the center of the city. Local sources said that "dozens" of outposts fell to the Taliban in the last five days.
"The situation is like the past in Laghman. There are no changes felt," said Abdullah, a resident of Mehtarlam.
"Even outposts in Mehtarlam that are located on the way to Alisheng and Alingar districts have fallen," said Gulzar Sangarwal, a member of Laghman's provincial council.

According to MoD at least 50 Taliban snuffies were killed and more than 62 others were maimed in Skirmishes against the government forces in Laghman province in the past 24 hours.
Earlier, the Taliban launched offensives in the region and captured some districts which led to attacks on the historic provincial capital, this incident led to the arrest of 117 security officials for duty neglect and inattention.

A Tunisian naval boat on Monday rescued 100 migrants colonists, including eight infants, from an inflatable vessel that was attempting an illicit Mediterranean crossing to Europe, the defence ministry said.
The vessel had set off "at dawn from the Libyan coast (carrying) 82 men, 10 women and eight babies", but it was intercepted by a Tunisian navy patrol boat off Zarzis, the ministry said in a statement.

[All Africa] The Mozambican defence and security forces, early on Friday morning, occupied the Diaca administrative post in Mocimboa da Praia district, in the northern province of Cabo Delgado, driving out islamist terrorists, who had been using Diaca as a training camp.
According to a report in Monday's issue of the independent newssheet "Mediafax", on Sunday the Mozambican forces also retook Namacunde, the capital of Muidumbe district.

Mysterious attacks... hey, what if the attacks are from those UFOs the Pentagon has been going on about lately? I don't want to sound racist, but it is well known (at least in some circles) that aliens from a certain star system are pot-stirrers and trouble-makers. I would not put it past them.

[NPASYRIA] On Monday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) found a weapon depot of ISIS in an underground tunnel in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.
A military sources of the SDF from the town of Daranj, 70 km east of Deir ez-Zor told North Press that a military engineering division raided a weapon warehouse where it found a set of weapons, following investigating and collecting intelligence information.
The depot included more than 30 shoulder-loaded BGM-71 TOW rockets and more than 8 IEDs with dozens of grenades and home-made mines.
The source indicated that ISIS had hidden these weapons to prevent them from being damaged and to use them later.
Two months ago, ISIS targeted a military vehicle of the SDF with a BGM-71 TOW rocket in the town of Dhiban, 55 km east of Deir ez-Zor, according to the source.
ISIS was trying to keep this type of weapons, as it had planned to revive itself in the regions of northeast Syria, before its elimination in March 2019.
The operation to find the hideout of BGM-71 TOW missiles comes as part of the continuous efforts of combating terrorism and its sleeper cells "which are trying to hit the security of the region and reorganize its ranks."
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor is considered the last stronghold of ISIS, where it had moved all its equipment and weapons there.
Three months ago, the SDF found a depot for heavy military ammunition in the desert of al-Rawda, 100 km west of Omar oil field, east of Deir ez-Zor.
