[ToloNews] The corpse count rises to 11 in the attack on a gathering of Afghan politicians and hundreds of their supporters in the west of Kabul on Thursday, the Ministry of Interior confirmed on Friday.
The ceremony, which was held to mark the 24th death anniversary of Abdul Ali Mazari, the leader of the Hizb-e-Wadhat Party, was targeted by mortar attacks, gunfire and kabooms.
Nusrat Rahimi, a front man for Ministry of Interior Affairs, told TOLOnews that three women were among those who bit the dust in the attack.
He said 95 others, including 12 women, were maimed in the attack.
Rahimi said that their initial investigations show that the attack was carried out by the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... . However, alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk... ISIS has grabbed credit for the attack.

The attack on the gathering at Musala-e-Mazari compound in Kabul’s PD13 took place at around 12pm Kabul time when Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah ... the former foreign minister of the Northern Alliance government, advisor to Masood, and candidate for president against Karzai. Dr. Abdullah was born in Kabul and is half Tadjik and half Pashtun... was giving his speech at the ceremony.
Abdul Latif Pedram, head of the National Congress Party of Afghanistan and a presidential candidate, was also maimed in the attack.
Officials said children are also among those who sustained injuries in the attack.
[KhaamaPress] Scores of Talibs including one of their commanders were killed during the operations of Afghan Special Forces and Arclight airstrikes which were conducted in the past 24 hours.
According to the informed military sources, the operations were conducted in Kundu, Pashtun-infested Logar, Ghazni, and Wardak provinces.
The sources further added that the Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid in province killing 25 Taliban ...Arabic for students... fighters and destroying a weapons cache.
The Afghan Special Forces conducted a similar raid in Charkh district of Pashtun-infested Logar province killing 13 Taliban fighters, the sources added.
In the meantime, the security forces conducted airstrikes in Andar district of Ghazni and Jagahtoo district of Wardak province leaving two Taliban group members dead including one of the local commanders.

The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North announced that the airstrikes were carried out at around 10:20 am local time on Wednesday against the hideouts and commander and control center of Qari Wali Mohammad and Najeebullah alias Haroon.
According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, at least 6 Talibs including the leaders of the group were killed and 3 others were maimed in the airstrikes.
The statement further added that a fighting position, the command and control center of Taliban, and another compound of Taliban were destroyed in the airstrikes.
The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that a clash also broke out between Talibs and security forces at around 1:30 pm local time in Pesta and Malraghai areas of Khanabad district, leaving 4 gunnies dead and 6 others maimed.
The anti-government armed gunnies including Taliban have not commented regarding airstrikes and the clash with the Afghan forces so far.

Farah Ali Wasuge, commander of unit five, section 27 told the journalists that an offensive launched by Somali national forces in Beledweyne killed a senior al-Shabaab official who was the criminal mastermind of kabooms in the town.
"Our forces shot the official as he was preparing explosives in a road, and escaped with bullet wounds to a house in Howl-wadag village in Beledweyne. He later died in an exchange of gunfire with the security forces," the commander said.
He noted that the troops stormed into the house and found weapons and many kabooms, arresting the bully boy’s wife who denied that she was aware of the weapons and the explosives that her husband kept in his special room in the house.

Al-Shabaab was ousted from the capital Mogadishu in August 2011, but the terror group is still in control of several areas in southern Somalia and capable of conducting attacks.

[News24] Maiduguri ‐ A resident says at least five farmers are dead and dozens are wounded in northeastern Nigeria after their vehicle struck a landmine buried by Boko Haram extremists.
Bello-Indimi Zabarmari says the blast occurred on Wednesday. He says the mine was planted as the extremists fled after trying to attack Khaddamari town outside Maiduguri city in Borno state, on the eve of the February 23 elections.
Zabarmari says the farmers defied soldiers' warnings not to use the road because they wanted to reach their cucumber farms.
He says four died at the scene and a fifth died at a hospital.

Aissami and businessman Samark Lopez Bello were indicted together in New York and charged with violating US sanctions by using private jets to set up meetings around the world.
"El Aissami and Lopez Bello allegedly used private jets to set up private meetings around the globe including The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... and Russia," Immigration and Customs Enforcement special agent Angel Melendez said in a statement.
The indictment covered activities by the two, along with four other men named in the indictment, that began in 2017 and continued through last week.
El Aissami has been a key ally of Maduro.

The Solna District Court in Stockholm says David Idrisson, an Uzbek national who has been living legally in Sweden since 2008, should be expelled for life from Sweden where his family lives after serving his time. He was also found guilty of financing the radical Islamic group in Syria.
The court said Friday that Idrisson had gathered some 500 kilograms (1,100 pounds) of chemicals, knives, gas masks and military equipment, and photos of potentials targets in Stockholm were found on his cellphone.
Two other younger men who Idrisson knows and who were also suspected in the case, were acquitted. They were released from detention earlier this week.
A total of six men were also accused of financing IS by sending up to 20,000 kronor ($2.135) each. The court found four of them ‐ including Idrisson ‐ guilty of that charge and gave them prison sentences ranging between four and six months. Two were acquitted.
The men ‐ five Uzbeks and a citizen of Kyrgyzstan ‐ communicated via closed chatrooms. All live legally in Sweden and denied wrongdoing.

[BREITBART] The pregnant wife of notorious French Islamist Michaël Chiolo was rubbed out by prison guards this week after the pair stabbed two guards with a ceramic knife.
Moslem convert Michaël Chiolo was joined by his wife Hanane Aboulhana in the prison’s Family Life Unit (UVF) where the attack occurred on Tuesday morning at around 9 am, Le Point reports.
Aboulhana arrived at the prison fully veiled and only a few minutes after her arrival her husband was able to stab one guard in the arm, chest, and in the back and then a second guard in the arm and the face.
The pair then fortified their position until they were raided by security forces, shooting and killing 34-year-old pregnant Aboulhana and injuring 27-year-old Chiolo.
Michaël Chiolo is an infamous Islamist in La Belle France, having murdered 89-year-old Roger Tarall, a French war hero who survived the Nazi Dachau concentration camp, in 2012 at the age of 20.
Chiolo, along with two others, tied up Tarall leading to his suffocation and then made off with his war medals and cash. He was sentenced to 28 years in prison after being found guilty of the murder which was later increased to 30 years.

On Thursday, the concerned authorities removed the JuD signboards from the three institutions and put up new banners with the names of these institutions and announcing that they are now operated by the Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard

Darus Salam is a middle school which was being run by JuD for the last decade.
"There are about 100 students in the schools and 15 and 18 students in the two seminaries," a source said.

Similarly, the official said, security had also been tightened at the Muridke Markaz of the JuD where the government had appointed six administrators, including two female officers, at its various sections.
The official said a woman government schoolteacher had been appointed as administrator at a girls’ school at the Muridke Markaz, while a doctor had been posted at the hospital. A tehsildar had been appointed as administrator to run the affairs of the entire premises of the JuD Markaz which was housing more than 300 families, he added.

[ALMASDARNEWS] An Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 has crashed outside the city of Bikaner, India, about 100 km from the Pak border, during a "routine mission," the Indian military has confirmed.
The single-seater plane’s pilot is reported safe, having successfully ejected.
The IAF issued an official statement, which reads as follows: "[This] afternoon a MiG-21 aircraft on a routine mission crashed after getting airborne from Nal [Air Base] near Bikaner. Pilot of the aircraft ejected safely. A CoI will investigate the cause of the accident."
The reason for the crash is yet to be established, although one defence official suggested it may have been the result of a bird strike.
Unconfirmed photos from the scene show what appear to be the plane’s remains, surrounded by onlookers and a fire brigade.
The MiG-21 is a legacy fighter first introduced into the Soviet Air Force in 1959, and exported to dozens of countries around the world in the following years. The Indian Air Force has upgraded versions of the plane, known as the MiG-21bis, which were produced until 1985, and which are expected to be retired in the early 2020s.

[IsraelTimes] No reports of casualties as jets bomb facilities; earlier thousands protest along the border and 2 gunnies are caught after infiltrating into Israel.
The Israeli Air Force carried out several strikes in the southern and northern Gazoo Strip Friday night, hours after a rocket fired from the territory went kaboom! in Israeli territory.
The army said jets struck a Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, military base in the south of the territory and underground infrastructure in the north. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
None were hurt by the earlier projectile attack. The launch set off rocket warning sirens in the Eshkol Regional Council, where Hebrew media reports said it fell in an open field.
The incident came after thousands of Paleostinians rioted along the Gazoo border and two men who the IDF said were carrying a knife and a hand grenade were nabbed Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw! after crossing into Israel from the northern strip. The two infiltrators who broke through the security fence evaded capture for approximately half an hour, forcing the Israel Defense Forces to bring additional troops to the area and local communities to go on high alert and call up their volunteer security forces. Baghouz is the last significant ISIS-held town east of the Euphrates and is near the border with Iraq.
ISIS "tunnels and trenches" have also slowed SDF progress, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
It reported on Friday that within the past 24 hours 1,050 people have exited the ISIS holdout, including 90 fighters.
The coalition's Operation Roundup began on May 1, 2018, with the aim to clear ISIS from the Middle Euphrates River Valley.
"Al-Hol camp has significantly surpassed its capacity, with the current population exceeding 62,000 individuals. More than 90 per cent of the new arrivals are women and children. Children represent the vast majority, 23 per cent are under the age of 12 and 12 per cent are under the age of 5," a U.N. report said on Friday.
Around a tenth of the nearly 58,000 people who have fled the last IS bastion since December were jihadists, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitor.

SDF front man Mustefa Bali confirmed the death to AFP but declined to specify how or when it happened. He had previously denied the baby had died in a Twitter post that has since been deleted.
Begum, 19, gave birth last month in a refugee camp in northeast Syria.
She travelled from east London to Syria in 2015 and said she had previously given birth to two other children. They are said to have also died, apparently from illness and malnutrition.
Britannia stripped Begum of her citizenship last month despite her wishes to return to the country, although the government hinted her newborn son could be treated differently.
Her case has highlighted a dilemma facing many European countries, divided over whether to allow jihadists and IS sympathisers home to face prosecution or bar them from entry.
A mass exodus from the jihadists' last redoubt in eastern Syria has sparked a humanitarian emergency, as the SDF leads an offensive to smash the last remnants of the IS "caliphate".
The International Rescue Committee on Friday said that 12,000 women and kiddies had arrived at the Kurdish-run al-Hol camp since Wednesday.
Since December at least 100 people have died en route to the camp or shortly after arriving, mostly children under five, the IRC said.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is currently on high alert in northwestern Syria as recent threats from the jihadist rebels have forced them to take precautionary measures to prevent any potential ambushes.
According to a military source in the large town of al-Suqaylabiyeh, the Syrian Arab Army has moved several soldiers to the front-lines near the Abu Dhuhour Airport.
The military source said that Syrian Arab Army drones are also conducting frequent reconnaissance missions over southern Idlib (Khan Sheikhoun area to the al-Ghaab Plain) and northern Hama (Al-Latamnah area).
In addition to raising their alert levels, the Syrian military and their air force have been conducting several attacks across northern Hama and southern Idlib.
On Thursday evening, the Syrian Air Force conducted several strikes around the key town of Khan Sheikhoun, while the Syrian Arab Army heavily targeted Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham ’s positions along the Hama-Idlib axis.
These strikes by the Syrian military come a day after Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham threatened to launch more attacks against the government forces.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Ottoman Turkish and Russian servicemen began on Friday patrolling the Idlib de-escalation zone in northwest Syria, Ottoman Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar said.
"Today, Russia will begin patrols in the border area outside of Idlib while Ottoman Turkish Armed Forces patrols will start in the demilitarized zone," Akar said to the Anadolu news agency.
Akar said any Ottoman Turkish contacts with the Syrian government were "out of the question." He added Ankara, which supports Syrian opposition, had been in talks with Russia and occasionally Iran on the matter of the Syrian peace.

[ALMASDARNEWS] A Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) military commander was assassinated this week after a group of unknown assailants detonated their explosives under the former’s vehicle.
According to opposition activists via social media, the field commander of the Free Syrian Army Amin Hajj ’Ali was killed on Thursday when a boom-mobileexploded inside his vehicle in the town of Kansafra.
The reports said the boom-mobileexploded while the Free Syrian Army commander was filling up gas at a local station in Kansafra.
No group has grabbed credit for this liquidation.

They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... and promise bloody vengeance against its enemies.
The skeletal and dishevelled figures shuffling out of the smouldering ashes of the "caliphate" may look like a procession of zombies, but their devotion seems intact.

They are stateless, non-uniformed men under arms in a time of war and insurrection. The solution to those circumstances is more than obvious. But rather than do the right thing for civilization, we want to play make believe like Brian Keith pulling out his ticket book for the nuclear sub in the Russians are Coming, The Russians are coming.

Isis jihadis and their spouses and children are broken people. There is no rehabilitation for them. They are pledged to destroy western civilization. This is not a law enforcement issue but rather it is war. They are the enemy and need to be destroyed.
It is anathema to western civilazion to do this action but this is a war to the death.

[PULSE.NG] Leb's Hezbollah movement on Friday called for donations from its popular base because it says it is coming under financial pressure as a result of Western sanctions.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's appeal came after Britannia announced on February 25 that it would seek to make membership of the Shiite movement or inviting support for it a crime.
It also follows the United States ramping up sanctions against the group, with its latest raft of measures in November targeting Nasrallah's son Jawad, among other individuals.
"The sanctions and terror lists are a form of warfare against the resistance and we must deal with them as such," Nasrallah said in a televised speech.
"I announce today that we are in need of the support of our popular base," Nasrallah added.
"It is the responsibility of the Lebanese resistance, its popular base, its milieu," to confront these measures.
Hezbollah was established in 1982 during Leb's civil war and is now a major political party in the country, holding three cabinet posts.
