The video was posted on Reddit, according to KFOX. The officer, who survived, was pursuing suspect Omar Felix Cueva, who authorities say killed a New Mexico state trooper in February.
Cueva was accused of shooting Jarrott multiple times during the routine traffic stop in February with an AR-15-style rifle while he was on his way to Las Cruces for a drug deal, police said.
Afterward, the suspect led officers on a 40-mile chase on Interstate 10 that ended in the fatal shootout.
Police said Cueva had a "violent criminal history," including drug charges involving cocaine and meth.
Omar Felix Cueva lived in different parts of the United States including California and New Mexico. He was the man who killed New Mexico State Police officer Darian Jarrott.
Between 2000 and 2010, Cueva was charged in California with possession of a controlled substance twice, importation of a controlled substance three times, writing a fake check and burglary. Here are 13 more things about him:

So much for California's Three Strikes law. If Mr. Cueva was rotting in a California penitentiary as intended by the voters in this state, he'd still be alive today and not wreaking havoc in other states. It appears the law was later watered down, no doubt at the instigation of our illustrious Democrat legislators. Even so it's hard to understand how a bad actor like Cueva ended up running loose in New Mexico.

Perhaps Cueva's release from prison in California gets back to a suspicion I've voiced previously about why politicians like Nancy Pelosi refuse to secure the border. One reason, of course, is the need for a steady stream of ignorant peasants who won't know any better than to vote Democrat. But another reason for Madame Pelosi's intransigence on this matter could well be the steady flow of narco dollars and the need for guys like Cueva to keep those dollars flowing.

War on Drugs keeps the cost of illegal narcotics artificially high thus increasing profits. There would seem to be two logical choices: Win the war on drugs by securing the border or legalize methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and fentanyl. [BREITBART] An off-duty LAPD officer was shot multiple times Wednesday afternoon as he tried to thwart a burglar who targeted his personal vehicle.
Fox 11 reports the off-duty officer was "with a woman leaving their apartment and heading to the locked parking garage," where he noticed the suspect sitting inside his personal vehicle.
The suspect was allegedly wearing the officer’s bulletproof vest and holding the officer’s service firearm.
The officer tried to stop the burglary, at which time the suspect began shooting. The officer was struck multiple times but managed to return fire, using his backup gun.
The exchange gunfire moved from the garage to the street, where the officer maimed the suspect and recovered the service firearm.
The New York Post quoted LAPD chief Michael Moore commenting on the incident: "From what started out as a burglary, a theft into a vehicle, and the senselessness of this escalated into this level of violence just has me extremely troubled."
The officer and suspect were both transported to the hospital in stable, pH balanced condition.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Libya’s Coast Guard and the Port Security Agency rescued on Wednesday 108 illegal African migrants colonists who tried to cross the Mediterranean Sea to reach European shores.
Coast guard front man Masoud Ibrahim said they received a distress call and headed directly to the migrants colonists' location.

The rescue operation comes only a few days after 130 Europe-bound migrants colonists drowned following a boat wreck in the Mediterranean.
SOS Mediterranee, which operates the rescue vessel Ocean Viking, announced earlier this week rescuing 236 migrants colonists in international waters off Libya’s coast, 32 nautical miles from Zawiya city.
The Marseille-based group reported that the migrants colonists were taken onboard from two overcrowded dinghies.
"Several survivors were weak, dehydrated and are now recovering. Some women suffered mild fuel burns and inhaled fumes," it stated.

A military spokesperson, Navy Captain Atonfack Guemo Cyrille Serge, said the operation freed several civilians who had been kidnapped by the bully boys.
Nineteen-year-old Zumbaisi Babale, who witnessed the abductions, said the fighters took away his elder sister and a man with whom she was seeking refuge in their village church. He said he hid under a bench until the fighters left, then the military took him to their base for protection.

[OREGONLIVE] The North Portland property where police and protesters engaged in a tense standoff late last year was the site of a large party Tuesday that spilled into the surrounding neighborhood and prompted nearly two dozen 911 calls.The party at the so-called "red house" was advertised on Instagram, featured live music and drew between 100 and 150 people, according to neighbors who say they worry the site will continue to be the source of nuisance complaints as warmer weather approaches. The property is located at 4406 N. Mississippi Ave.
One neighbor, Dylan Kruse, said he called 911 to report trespassing on his property and later spoke with a police officer about the assault of a woman associated with the party. Kruse said he heard the woman screaming. Kruse said the officer told him that police would not "insert officers into the situation."
Kruse said his fence was tagged with an anti-police message overnight.
The red house and adjacent empty lot remain largely unchanged since becoming a flashpoint for protesters late last year after authorities arrived to evict people from the home, though a makeshift stage for performers appears to have been added. Signs around the mostly boarded up house say, "Land back," "Protest the red house" and "Indigenous solidarity for black liberation."

Someone purporting to represent antifa has responded to Wheeler with a new video. In this video, the masked individual pushes anti-American themes and publishes Wheeler’s home address. The individual finishes the disturbing presentation with a veiled threat to kill Mayor Wheeler.
"Ted, we are asking for the last time that you resign," the video’s narrator says. "If you ignore this message outright, the destruction to your precious way of life is going to escalate. Blood is already on your hands, Ted. The next time, it may just be your own."
Those last words have Wheeler’s clearly legible address superimposed over them.
PT News first relayed the threatening video beyond antifa’s social media userbase.
Wheeler initially indicated common cause with the far left as the riots got underway in 2020. He was later driven from his home by them.
The Multnomah County district attorney, Mike Schmidt, has consistently declined to prosecute rioters once police apprehend them, leading to a catch-and-release system that does not punish them even when they are caught engaging in night after night of violence.
Portland’s city council defunded its police department. Since then, crime, including homicide, has skyrocketed in the once-peaceful city.
PJ Media has reached out to Mayor Wheeler’s office for comment, and will update this post should such comment be forthcoming.

Thank you for providing the full text (double thanks for the addition of the translation!) of the letter. We had the report about it the other day, and then that some of the military signators have been fired, but the full text matters — they are brave children of France, who consciously put their duty to their countrymen before their own comfort — heroes all!
I'm certainly not advocating violence, but if something happened to Teddy, I might find it a bit hard to feel any empathy/sympathy for that slob of a coward.

[KING5] Seattle police arrested a 43-year-old man for harassment after leaving a voicemail for Mayor Jenny Summer of Love Durkan ...Democrat Maress of Seattle, who allowed a chunk of the downtown of her city to be turned into an autonomous combat zone... in which he allegedly stated he wanted to kill her.
Court documents identify the suspect as Rashidi Slaughter of Auburn.
Detectives were told Tuesday the suspect left a voicemail at the mayor's office earlier that morning. They were able to identify the man, determining the call was made from Auburn.
"It just shows again that we're in a very difficult troubled time right now, and this is just another thing that many officials face," Durkan said about the voicemail.
Officers arrested the man in the 4800 block of South 292nd Street in Auburn without incident.
Court documents transcribed the voicemail. It said the suspect did not want police in his life and wanted protective custody from the mayor. The document also says the suspect identified himself on the voicemail by name.
According to that document, the voicemail said in part, "If you don't let me put a civil rights no contact order on anybody I want to, guess what, I don't know I'm going to be able to do it, but I'm going to kill you and gonna kill you whole family, do you understand me?"
The man was booked into King County jail for investigation of telephone harassment. According to a Conviction Criminal History Report, this is Slaughter's 60th arrest.
The court document said King County Crisis Services reported Slaughter has been diagnosed with a series of mental health disorders.
Durkan's office released a statement saying she has faced several death threats and instances of harassment in her time as a US Attorney and mayor of Seattle. Her home was vandalized more than a dozen times in the last year.
"Violence and threats towards elected officials have no place in our community. The Mayor is grateful for SPD’s continued work to investigate the serious and ongoing threats against her, her family, and their home," the statement read.
Slaughter waived his right to appear in court Wednesday, where a judge found probable cause for felony harassment.

Matt, most of the University of Alabama students I know and most of the Auburn University students I know have no animosity toward either school. It's usually the fans who didn't attend either one who are usually the most rabid. My brother is an avid Alabama fan but my niece went to Auburn. On the other hand my sister's daughter was offered a full scholarship to play softball at Auburn but refused because she wanted to go to Alabama. Alabama didn't offer her anything.

[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... launched two fresh operations against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the southeastern provinces of Sirnak and Hakkari on Thursday, the interior ministry has said, adding the operations are linked to the recent offensive against the group in the Kurdistan Region.
The operation in Sirnak province is code-named Eren Cudi-Besta and the one in Hakkari province is code-named Eren Kazan-Ogul, reported the state-owned Anadolu Agency.
More than 5,000 members of the security forces are involved in the operation, according to the state-owned TRT.
The operation is named after 15-year-old Eren Bulbul, who was killed during a clash between Ottoman Turkish forces and the PKK in Trabzon province on August 11, 2017. According to Ottoman Turkish media, Bulbul had spotted some PKK fighters in his hometown of Macka and informed the police. He accompanied him to the area, where he was killed. The PKK confirmed their involvement in the clash, but did not mention Bulbul.
Turkey blames the PKK for his death, and has cast him as a hero in their fight against the gang ever since.
The ministry said the new operations on the border are "coordinated and linked" with Operation Claw-Lightning and Claw-Thunderbolt, launched in the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok province last week.

[Rudaw] A jacket wallah's belt went kaboom! on Thursday morning as guards at the national security directorate building in the Qoria neighbourhood of Kirkuk fired at him, a police official in the city has told Rudaw.
"A suicide bomber tried to enter the national security building, but the guards shot at him from a distance and his boom belt went off," Colonel Yousif Salih, head of police in the Domiz neighbourhood of Kirkuk told Rudaw’s Sirwan Abbas on Thursday.
Iraq’s Security Media Cell said two security personnel were maimed in the earth-shattering kaboom.

At least one policeman was killed and three others were maimed in an attack on the town of Daquq in Kirkuk on February 11. The mayor of Daquq told Rudaw English that ISIS conducted the attack.
A Peshmerga ministry official warned in January of ISIS’ growing strength and reorganization in Iraq in territories claimed by both Erbil and Baghdad, including Kirkuk.
Remnants of the group have been able to continue conducting attacks after they were defeated in 2017 in territories disputed between the central government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), where security is patchy. Kirkuk was under Kurdish control until October 2017, when Iraqi forces retook the disputed territories following the KRG’s failed independence referendum.
In late January, Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Services (ICTS) announced the killing of seven ISIS snuffies in Kirkuk. The Peshmerga ministry said in a statement released February 3 that they had deployed forces to Makhmour and Mount Qarachogh "as a result of security threats imposed by ISIS."

[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish forces are now less than three kilometers from the center of a village in Duhok’s Amedi district, a mayor told Rudaw on Thursday, saying troops were dropped into the area during a bombardment on Wednesday.
"An intense bombardment was carried out last night until early morning. Ottoman Turkish forces were dropped into an area less than three kilometers away from the center of [Zinare Kesta] village," Sarbast Sabri, the mayor of Kani Masi sub-district, told Rudaw’s Nasir Ali on Thursday.
The area is an important area for grazing livestock, he added, saying it has "complicated the situation for the people in the area."
No one was killed in Wednesday’s bombardments but locals are scared, said the mayor.
Villagers elsewhere in the district have told Rudaw they are terrified to leave their homes, and are unable to take their livestock to the nearby mountains, following recent Ottoman Turkish attacks.
On April 23, Ankara launched a new cross-border military offensive against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), dubbed Operation Claw-Lightning and Claw-Thunderbolt. Several villages in the border area of Metina were bombed by Ottoman Turkish forces.

[SHAFAQ] A force from the Iraqi army conducted a pre-emptive operation in Nineveh, northern Iraq.
A security source told Shafaq News Agency that a unit of the 16th division of the Iraqi army pursued ISIS hideouts in the Badush and Atshan mountains.
The operation resulted in arresting a person wanted by the Judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/Terrorism and seizing weapons, military equipment, ammunition, and kaboom.
The army troops also destroyed two tunnels and found a guesthouse used by ISIS operatives as a shelter, according to the source.

[IsraelTimes] Military says it is searching for culprits who threw Molotov cocktails into the West Bank building at 2 a.m. while 4 young men inside were sleeping, causing light damage.
The Israeli military launched a search for a group of Paleostinians suspected of Molotov cocktailing a cabin at an illegal outpost in the central West Bank in the predawn hours of Thursday morning while four people were inside, the Israel Defense Forces said.
One of the four young men who was sleeping in the cabin was lightly injured as he jumped out of a window to escape the flames.
According to the man, at roughly 2 a.m., he and the other three men awoke to find the structure on fire after several Molotov cocktails had been thrown into the cabin, located in the Oz Zion outpost in the central West Bank, near the Beit El settlement.
The other three who were closer to the door ran out, while he was forced to jump out of the window.
The flames were quickly extinguished, but the attack caused damage to the building and the property inside.
"IDF troops are searching for the snuffies who threw Molotov cocktails at the Oz Zion outpost," the military said.

A bomb explosion in Maguindanao province on Wednesday morning killed the pair who the military said were linked to members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters ...a MILF splinter group aligned with the Islamic State... (BIFF).
The military said the women — identified as Bahria Alon, 40, and Lagabai Mohalidin, 24, — were traveling with BIFF front man Abu Jihad when a bomb he was carrying prematurely went kaboom!. Jihad was able to escape.
"Alon and Mohalidin were killed. One of them was a wife of a BIFF commander. They were traveling with Jihad when the earth-shattering kaboom occurred," army Col. Pete Balisi, commander of the 1st Mechanized Brigade, told BenarNews, adding that a third civilian was injured.
Balisi said Jihad was able to escape.
"Based on the accounts of our witnesses, he was maimed," Balisi said.
The women were not considered as enemy combatants but as civilians linked to BIFF, he said.
The blast forced at least 549 families to evacuate their homes for safer grounds, local disaster officials reported.
Also on Wednesday, four soldiers were maimed in a separate explosion while they were pursuing the holy warriors, according to regional military front man Lt. Col. John Paul Baldomar.
The blasts come a little more than a month after 14 BIFF forces of Evil died in a series of festivities in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, the region where the forces of Evil have evaded troops for years by hiding in jungle and swamp areas.
The BIFF is a splinter group of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, which signed a peace deal with Manila and controls a Moslem autonomous area in the south.

OCHA head Mark Lowcock briefed the UN Security Council on the same day, estimating the number of displaced at more than 15,000.
Three civilians, including two children, were killed during festivities between Asayish and pro-regime National Defense Forces (NDF) in Qamishli, which began on April 20, the UN confirmed. At least four people were maimed.
Three days later, the Asayish announced they had reached a 15-hour ceasefire with the NDF after the intervention of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Russians.
The Asayish now Qamishli's controls al-Tai neighborhood, one of several pockets held by the regime in Rojava.
A permanent ceasefire was reached between the two forces on April 25, with civilians returning to the neighbourhood.
"The protection of civilians remains paramount in all circumstances and the blatant disregard for civilian safety runs contrary to international human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... law," said the Syrian team.
Rojava’s Kurdish National Council (ENKS) called for an end to the hostilities four days after festivities broke out, citing the dangers to civilians: "Thousands of families were displaced from the neighborhood to safer places, and many civilians in the neighborhood and neighboring neighborhoods fell as deaders and were maimed by indiscriminate bombardments."

The Free Patriotic Movement Despite its name a Christian party allied with Hizbullah, neither free nor particularly patriotic... , which is headed by Gebran Bassil, who is also Aoun’s son-in-law, has also accused Hariri of trying to orchestrate a majority for his own supporters.
Hariri was nominated in October to form a cabinet after Hassan Diab’s government resigned in the wake of the Beirut port blast, which killed 200 people and damaged large swathes of the city.
Lebanon is experiencing its worst economic and financial crisis in its modern history following decades of widespread corruption. Since late 2019, the local currency has lost 90% of its value, and more than half of the country's population now lives in poverty, according to the World Bank.

"On a national basis, we have started to implement restrictive measures in terms of access to French territory against personalities involved in the current political blockage, or involved in corruption," Le Drian said in remarks alongside his Maltese counterpart.
Le Drian gave no names and it was not clear if the actual measures were already in place.
"It’s not just words in the air," said a French diplomat.
They (Lebanese officials) can reassure themselves that it’s not just threats."
Two diplomats said a list of names had been put together and people were being made aware.
"We reserve the right to adopt additional measures against all those who hinder the way out of the crisis and we will do so in coordination with our international partners," Le Drian added.
