AOC-Backed Congressional Challenger Blames Jewish Groups for Her Loss
[PJMedia] A rematch of an Ohio primary race between Bernie Sanders acolyte Nina Turner and establishment Democrat Shontel Brown ended up with Brown once again prevailing and the radical left licking its wounds and blaming Jewish groups for Turner’s defeat.

Turner was backed at the last minute by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). But one group of Turner’s primary supporters, the radical Justice Democrats, declined to back her because pro-Israel super PACs run by DMFI (Democratic Majority for Israel) and AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) “massively outgunned” Turner’s fundraisers.

Turner and Brown were competing to see who would represent Ohio’s 11th Congressional District. Brown previously beat Turner in a 2021 special election primary to fill the seat of former Rep. Marcia Fudge, whom Biden chose as his Housing and Urban Development secretary. Since the 11th is a safe Democratic seat, the winner of the Democratic primary is an almost certain winner in November’s midterms.

In the end, it wasn’t even close. Brown prevailed 65%-35%. And the Justice Democrats scapegoated the Jews for her defeat.

Biden hails ‘Hungarian' defense of Ukraine, says US gave ‘Russia' Javelins
[NY Post] He's losing his fucking mind
Well, yes. That’s the sad nature of his condition.
President Biden stumbled repeatedly Tuesday during remarks on US aid to Ukraine — saying the United States "made sure Russia had Javelins" and noting the successful "Hungarian" resistance to Russia’s invasion.

Biden made the glaring gaffes at an Alabama facility that makes the anti-tank missiles.

The context of Biden’s remarks made clear he knew the US was actually arming Ukraine’s government with the sophisticated weapon, and he correctly identified the recipient nation at some points in his remarks.

"Before Russia attacked, we made sure Russia had Javelins and other weapons to strengthen their defenses so Ukraine was ready for whatever happened," Biden said midway through his 16-minute speech at the plant.
"Isn't that right, Mommy? I mean Dr. Jill, our President"
Later, Biden said, "Just a few days ago, the Wall Street Journal quoted a young Hungarian fighter saying, ’Without the Javelins, it would have been very hard to stop the enemy pushing ahead.'"

The Journal’s report actually quoted a private first class named Oleksandr in Ukraine’s 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade. The article does not identify him as Hungarian.

The president, who turns 80 this year, ironically began his remarks joking about his propensity to misspeak.

US Capitol riot: Ex-NYPD cop convicted of assaulting officer
[DW] A US federal jury disagreed with Thomas Webster's claim that he acted in self defense after seeing footage of the incident. Webster struck an officer with a metal pole.

Thomas Webster, a retired New York City policeman, was convicted of assaulting an officer on Monday when a federal jury rejected his defense that he acted in self-defense while participating in the January 6, 2021 riot at the US Capitol.

The 56-year-old was both the first to be charged with assault over the riots as well as the first to try and claim self-defense

WHAT WERE THE DETAILS OF THE CHARGE?
Webster, who was a NYPD officer for 20 years, had been indicted on six counts, including a charge that he assaulted Metropolitan Police Department officer Noah Rathbun with a dangerous weapon, in this case a metal flagpole.

He claimed that Rathbun instigated the confrontation. He called Rathbun a "rogue cop" who tried to punch him in the face.

Rathbun testified that he didn't punch or pick a fight with Webster.

On January 6, a violent mostly peaceful mob attacked the Capitol , disrupting Congress from certifying President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass. Don't say he didn't warn us...
's 2020 election victory over then-President Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
The federal jury convicted Webster on all six counts.

'THERE WAS NO SELF-DEFENSE'
Two jurors who spoke to news hounds after the verdict said videos capturing the officer's assault from multiple angles were crucial evidence rebutting Webster's self-defense argument.

"I guess we were all surprised that he would even make that defense argument," said a juror who spoke on condition of anonymity. "There was no dissention among us at all. We unanimously agreed that there was no self-defense argument here.''

Although prosecutors asking for Webster to be detained, the judge ruled that he wil remain free until his sentencing because he has complied with current conditions of release and doesn't have any prior convictions.

Webster drove from his home in New York to Washington DC on the eve of January 6, attending former President Trump's the "Stop the Steal" rally the next day and then moving with the crowd as it marched towards the Capitol.

Rathbun's body camera captured Webster shouting profanities at the officer before slamming a bike rack at the police. Rathbun then hit Webster, pushing him back into the crowd that was surging around the police barricade. Webster then swung a metal flag pole at the officer in a downward chopping motion, striking a bike rack. Rathbun grabbed the broken pole from Webster, who charged at the officer, tackled him to the ground and grabbed his gas mask.

More than 780 people have been charged with riot-related federal crimes. The Justice Department says more than 245 of them have been charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement. More than 100 officers were maimed in the riot.

Abrams vows to repeal Constitutional Carry if elected
[Bearing Arms] Early voting in Georgia’s primary elections kicks off today ahead of the official primary day on May 24th, and Democrat Stacey Abrams, who’s running unopposed for her party’s nomination, is already signaling that she plans on making Constitutional Carry an issue in the general election, where she’s likely to take on incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp.

Recent polling in the state shows Kemp’s lead over his primary opponents, including Trump-endorsed former U.S. Senator David Perdue, growing so large that he may be able to win the primary outright with more than 50% of the vote, which would allow him to avoid an expensive and potentially bruising runoff. Kemp, who signed Constitutional Carry into law just a few weeks ago, is also comfortably ahead of Abrams in head-to-head polling, but Abrams is hoping to change those numbers by running on repealing the new law if elected.

'Alien always wins rule:' Biden invents new way to keep illegals in country with circular process
[JustTheNews] Texas lawsuit exposes regulatory change limiting judges' power to deport, creating numerous loopholes for aliens.

Facing mounting losses in the courts over its immigration policies, the Biden administration has invented a new tactic for keeping as many illegal aliens in the country as possible: Create a circular bureaucratic process loop indefinitely delaying deportation.

The newest tactic was exposed last week in a lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton challenging obscure regulatory changes by the Homeland Security Department that shifted the power to deport away from immigration judges to civilian bureaucrats while allowing aliens multiple means of delaying and appealing.

"The Interim Rule sets forth all kinds of exceptions from the procedures and timelines in the new regulations, generally always inuring to the alien's benefit," Paxton wrote in his lawsuit.

"In summary, the Interim Rule transfers significant authority from immigration judges to asylum officers, grants those asylum officers significant additional authority, limits immigration-judge review to denials of applications, and upends the entire adjudicatory system to the benefit of aliens," the suit added.

The vast majority of asylum cases that reach an immigration judge are rejected, about 71% of the time under President Trump, though it fell to 63% in the first year of the Biden presidency. And most aliens are then subjected to expedited removal.

What the Biden administration did is create interim rules that significantly bypass the immigration judges, allowing civilian bureaucrats working for the Customs and Immigration Service to take new actions that delay or circumvent expedited removal.

The Texas lawsuit noted several of the changes, including that "individuals subject to expedited removal and found to have a credible fear of persecution or torture would have their claims for asylum, withholding of removal ... or Convention Against Torture ... protection initially adjudicated by USCIS following a nonadversarial interview before an asylum officer."

Aliens who lose at the immigration court level now can appeal and and get reconsidered by the CIS bureaucracy under most favorable conditions, the Texas suit noted. And aliens who lose at both the court and CIS level and facing "expedited removal proceedings would be eligible for consideration for parole."

John Zadrozny, a former White House immigration adviser to President Trump, told Just the News the new rules have simply created a circular bureaucratic process with little end in sight, meaning most aliens who enter it can stay in America indefinitely for years.

"What this rule basically does is it destroys expedited removal for all intents and purposes, and creates an endless loop of review that will prevent an alien from really ever being removed under the expedited removal process," Zadrozny explained during an interview Monday on the John Solomon Reports podcast.

"We're calling this the 'Alien always wins rule,' because that's basically what it is: It's designed to prevent them from [ever] getting a final negative adjudication" authorizing their removal from the country," Zadrozny said.

Paxton said his 11th lawsuit since 2021 challenging Biden immigration policies — many of which have already prevailed — is designed to challenge a process that leaves illegal aliens in the driver's seat to stay in the country.

"The last thing Texas needs is for this Administration to make it easier for illegal aliens to enter the U.S. and obtain asylum through false claims and less oversight," Paxton said.

"We know what's going to happen when the rule goes into effect in May 2022: wave upon wave of illegal aliens claiming 'asylum.' It's true that our immigration system is extremely backlogged. But the answer is to secure the border, not overwhelm it even more by enacting cheap, easy incentives for illegal aliens to get into the United States."
