Biden administration guidance prioritizes race in administering COVID drugs
[FoxNews] New York and Minnesota among states prioritizing race in COVID treatment distribution.

Guidance issued by the Biden administration states certain individuals may be considered "high risk" and more quickly qualify for monoclonal antibodies and oral antivirals used to treat COVID-19 based on their "race or ethnicity."

In a fact sheet issued for healthcare providers by the Food and Drug Administration, the federal agency approved emergency use authorizations of sotrovimab – a monoclonal antibody proven to be effective against the Omicron variant – only to patients considered "high risk."

The guidance, updated in December 2021, says "medical conditions or factors" such as "race or ethnicity" have the potential to "place individual patients at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19," adding that the "authorization of sotrovimab under the EUA is not limited to" other factors outlined by the agency.

Older age, obesity, pregnancy, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease are among the multiple medical conditions and factors associated with what are considered "high risk" individuals by the FDA.

Some states, including New York and Utah, have made it clear they will prioritize certain racial minorities over other high-risk patients when it comes to the distribution of particular COVID treatments.

Austin [TX] sees hundreds of sex offender cases removed from police officer supervision due to defunding
[FoxNews] Hundreds of convicted sex offenders are no longer being monitored by sworn police officers in Austin, Texas due to the city’s move to defund the police and cut police academy classes.

As of 2019, there were about 1,600 registered sex offenders in Austin according to the state's sex offender database. There is no law preventing any of them from living near schools or other places where children tend to congregate, according to a local news report. About 650 of those cases were handled by officers who checked in on the registered sex offenders weekly to ensure they were where they reported themselves to be. But three of those officers were sent back to patrol as a result of the decision to defund the police, including slashing three cadet classes at the police academy, in August 2020. Defunding the police forced the department to cut the Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit (SOAR).

Those cases once handled by sworn police officers are now being monitored by civilian employees, including two who only work part-time. The civilian monitors lack arrest authority and some question whether they are able to keep up with the increased caseload.

An Austin Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Fox News that three police officers who were tasked with monitoring sex offenders were assigned to patrol due to budget cuts and that civilians were assigned those cases.

"The lack of cadet classes at APD over the last couple of years has contributed to an officer staffing shortage," APD told Fox News. "In order to prioritize the Department’s ability to respond to 911 phone calls and keep the community safe, APD has had to reallocate some personnel from our support units back to patrol. The Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit (SOAR) is one of the units affected by these staffing challenges and lost 3 officers who were re-assigned to patrol in the process. These officers’ duties and tasks while assigned to SOAR were to perform sex offender compliance checks, and to track down and arrest those with outstanding warrants. With the absence of these officers in the SOAR unit to assist with these tasks, the unit has limited capacity to perform these functions. There are currently 1 sergeant, 3 detectives, 1 full time civilian, and 2 part time civilians who now work in this unit."

Mayor Steve Adler and Council Member Greg Casar, both Democrats, championed the vote to slash the police department's funding in August 2020. Casar is now running for Congress.

A current member of the Austin City Council told Fox News that the civilian employees are not able to monitor and apprehend sex offenders the same way that police officers are.

"I spoke recently with two women who are contractors that oversee putting ankle monitors on violent offenders," Austin City Councilwoman Mackenzie Kelly told Fox News. "It surprised me to learn that these violent offenders often remove the monitors and dump them in trash bins. There are no officers going out to check on the whereabouts of these violent offenders and it appalls me. At a very minimum the city is responsible for public safety and we are doing an injustice to victims of violent crimes by not staffing this unit."

Kelly won her seat on the city council in the wake of the vote to defund APD.

The Death of Privacy
[PJMedia] Starting this month, third-party payment vendors will report $600 in total annual transitions to the IRS. That’s not every transaction of $600 or more. That’s if you do more than $600 worth of business with any of them over the course of an entire year.

Vendors will also need to see your tax information, comrades.

PayPal, Venmo, and others are acting in compliance with the American Rescue Plan Act, passed by Democrats on a strict party-line vote in both houses, and signed into law last year by Presidentish Joe Biden.

Are you feeling rescued yet?

When you know no treason charges are coming. Trump's Former CIA Director Gina Haspel Joins Attorneys Rod Rosenstein and Sally Yates at International Law Firm
[GatewayPundit] Former CIA Director Gina Haspel joined law firm King and Spalding. Her bio says:

Former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Gina Haspel is a senior national security advisor for King & Spalding’s National Security and Corporate Espionage practice. She advises clients on globally significant projects, drawing on her unique experience as Director of the CIA to counsel clients on national security, information technology, cybersecurity and other issues. In particular, she helps the firm’s corporate, private equity, family office and other global clients to assess and manage institutional risks.

Haspel was in the UK during the beginnings of the Russiagate scandal against the candidate and then President Trump. President Trump did NOT do all he could to undo the corruption within the CIA:

Haspel joins fellow conspirator Rod Rosenstein who famously took over the DOJ under Jeff Sessions and ran the corrupt and criminal Russia collusion sham. Rosenstein signed a second scope memo to keep the investigation going even though there was no evidence to do so. This was all an illegal effort to remove President Trump from office.

Sally Yates is also at King and Spalding where she works alongside Rosenstein in the Special Matters and Government Administrations group. She is infamous for setting up General Michael Flynn in the first week of President Trump’s Administration.
These traitors are more likely to be hit by lighting during a shark attack then even being charged with jaywalking. Why should they even try to hide it? Hell, Barr & Pence probably drew up their partnership contracts.

NYPD commissioner blasts Manhattan DA's lenient agenda in letter to NYPD officers
[NYPOST] NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell sent an e-mail to cops on Friday saying she’s "concerned" for their safety in light of the progressive policies announced this week by the new Manhattan district attorney that some see as soft on crime.

"I have studied these policies and I am very concerned about the implications to your safety as coppers, the safety of the public and justice for the victims," Sewell wrote in the email obtained by The Post.

"I am making my concerns known to the Manhattan District Attorney and hope to have frank and productive discussions to try and reach more common ground."

District Attorney Alvin Bragg, in his first memo issued Monday, instructed his staff to stop prosecuting many low-level offenses, to seek reduced charges for certain crimes and not to ask for bail except in the most serious cases.

Sewell, who also recently started in her role after being appointed by new Mayor Eric Adams
...retired New York City police captain, member of the New York State Senate, first Black Brooklyn borough president, law and order Dem after a brief fling with the Publicans. The New York Times isn't fond of him, suspecting he may not actually be black...
, said the progressive approach will erode quality of life in the city, and sends a message to coppers that they are not protected.

Her message diverges from that of Adams, who has stood by Bragg amid outrage over his approach.

Asked on Wednesday about the DA’s policy not to go after smaller offenses, Adams told news hounds: "I know DA Bragg. I respect him, he’s a great prosecutor."

In her email to all uniformed members of the department, Sewell said she had already raised some issues with Bragg, including his refusal to prosecute resisting arrest charges unless they are part of a larger, felony case.

That decision "will invite violence against coppers and will have deleterious effects on our relationship with the communities we protect," Sewell wrote.

The top cop also raised concerns about the new policies downgrading felonies to misdemeanors in certain cases.

For instance, Bragg’s memo states that suspects initially charged with armed robbery of a store would get hit with petit larceny instead, misdemeanor, provided no victims were seriously injured and there was no "genuine risk of physical harm." The DA’s Office clarified on Wednesday that it would still prosecute armed robberies involving a gun as a felony.

Sewell said that classifying gunpoint robberies in businesses as misdemeanors instead of felonies endangers cops and is bad for business owners, who are reeling from increased theft.

‘It Is Dead': Federal Judge Sides With Biden Administration on Keystone XL
[Republic Brief] The Biden administration has been granted the request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by more than 20 GOP attorneys general challenging the revocation of the Keystone XL Pipeline’s permit.

In his ruling, Judge Jeffrey Brown of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas ruled that because TC Energy, the pipeline company, abandoned the project, he could not determine whether Biden’s action was constitutional. TC Energy announced on June 9 that it would permanently stop construction on the pipeline and focus on other projects.

Upon taking office, Biden canceled the pipeline’s federal permit by executive order on Jan. 20. U.S. officials stressed that a clean energy economy must be prioritized and that the Keystone pipeline would lead to the country losing its role as a global climate leader.

"The court takes TC Energy at its word that Keystone XL is dead," wrote Judge Brown, a Trump nominee, in his ruling on Thursday. "And because it is dead, any ruling this court makes on whether President Biden had the authority to revoke the permit would be advisory. Thus, the court has no jurisdiction and the case must be dismissed as moot."

Brown did not directly address whether Biden was constitutionally permitted to make the order.

The Biden administration was sued on March 17 by 23 states led by Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who claim Congress has the power to regulate foreign and interstate commerce. In the lawsuit, the AGs argued that Biden "must work with and abide by the limits set by Congress—whether he likes them or not."

As Georgia ballot harvesting probe starts, some election evidence has vanished already
[Just the News] Since 1960, federal civil rights law has required state and local election officials to "retain and preserve" records relating to elections involving federal officeholders for 22 months after ballots are cast.

That would seem to be a good thing as Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger embarks on an investigation into whether third-party liberal activists in 2020 illegally gathered and delivered absentee ballots for voters — a practice known as harvesting that is outlawed in the Peach State.

But some of Georgia's largest counties tell Just the News that they no longer possess evidence that could be helpful to probing the harvesting allegations: video camera surveillance footage that monitored the drop boxes installed around Georgia to help voters cast ballots during the pandemic.

Election officials in several counties say the reason they discarded the footage is that the emergency rules issued by the State Elections Board said they only needed to keep the footage for 30 days after the election.

"We took direction from the Secretary of State and State Election Board, assuming they were not implementing a Rule contrary to law," said the Cobb County elections office, which acknowledged it deleted its video footage from 2020. "Drop boxes were established under an emergency order from the Governor."

Fulton County, home to Atlanta and the state's largest voting metropolis, said it too has long since deleted the files.

Dems terrified of 'Tucker Carlson primary' after Ted Cruz smackdown makes him new king of 2024
[BIZPACREVIEW] Tucker Carlson’s resounding smackdown of Senator Ted Cruz;
...US Senator from Texas. Republican contender for president in 2016, his stiff and abrasive manner earned him the title most hated man in the Senate. After a close win over Beto O'Rourke, who tried to out-Lastino him, he grew a beard and let his biting wit shine through. Cruz's comments have been known to leave life-threatening wounds at better than forty feet...
for parroting Democrat talking points about the so-called "insurrection" has stirred up the party’s media mouthpieces who are piling on the Texas Republican who was put on the spot by the Fox News ratings king for his flippant remark that Trump supporters were terrorists. On Thursday, Carlson hosted Cruz and raked him over the coals for the misleading characterization that was also used by AG Merrick Garland
...Attorney General of the U.S., who classifies indignant parents as domestic terrorists. The is the respected legal scholar Obama nominated for the Supreme Court...
, remarks that the senator admitted were "dumb" while walking them back in an interview that has leftists jittery over the influence that Tucker will have on GOP candidates as the all-important midterm elections draw nearer.

One talking head who wasn’t pleased about Cruz’s straying from the narrative that the chaos at the Capitol was a legitimate threat to overthrow the entire U.S. government was CNN
...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for...
’s Brian Stelter who bemoaned Carlson’s clout with the Republican base and what he fears will be a "Tucker Carlson primary" this year and in 2024.

During a "CNN Newsroom" segment with co-host Victor Blackwell, Stelter said, "Cruz folded like a paper airplane. I think what it shows is the Republican messaging about being tough on crime, which is something that’s gone back decades, that Cruz was trying to lean into, has come up against this denial of the Jan. 6 crime," putting a devious spin on the GOP’s anti-crime message.

"So, you have Tucker Carlson try to take a position that what we saw with our own eyes didn’t really happen, or not that many coppers were maimed," he continued, "even though some of the officers that were attacked that day still can’t get back to work because the injuries were so severe. But Carlson’s in such profound denial about that, Victor, that he has to put on this performance and Cruz absolutely begged for forgiveness."

He added, "About a year ago, media news hounds like yours truly started to say Tucker Carlson is the new Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
, and I’ve never seen a bit of proof that’s better than this. This is the ultimate example of Tucker Carlson’s power, he essentially now runs the GOP media and as we think about the midterms and 2024, there is going to be a Tucker Carlson primary and you just saw what it’s going to be like. It’s going to be this kind of obsession with sticking to the party orthodoxy and denying the reality of the riot."

#3  Tucker is shockingly based. He's much more like a Youtuber than a mainstream media personality. He speaks the truth and doesn't shy from it. No wonder they're terrified of him, their whole plan is 1984-style reality control, where nobody is allowed to show the man behind the curtain.

Trailing daughter#2’s native tongue. ;-) I spent years explaining to her that, while efficient, she could not thusly convince others to agree with her unless she unpacked her thoughts for them.

Procter & Gamble trains their people to write their famous one page memos starting with a single sentence labeled Conclusion, followed by a short paragraph for Background, another two paragraphs or so for Data, and a final sentence or two under Next Steps. New hires spend a good part of their first six months rewriting to master the style and cut out all verbosity to meet the single page limit, part of the reason P&G only hires at the entry level.

Challenging, but it brutally forces clarification of thought as well as respect for the time of others.

Carlson is a genuinely angry man. His goal is not to make money or sell ads; he doesn't pander to anyone, including his own audience.

He lives and moves within the D.C. environment. They're terrified of him: they know he's serious about tearing down this whole USSA shambolic structure.
