[The Federalist] On Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office released a letter he penned to James Baker, the director of the Office of Net Assessments for the Department of Defense. Grassley’s letter ostensibly concerned fiscal oversight, but the details revealed by the finance committee chair raise new concerns about FBI confidential human source Stefan Halper.
Grassley’s letter began with a recap of his previous record requests, noting that in July 2019, the chair had requested "all records related to Professor [Stefan] Halper’s contracts with DoD." Grassley then highlighted several revelations discovered during the finance committee chair’s review of those documents, including various weaknesses in Halper’s various proposals.
But it was Grassley’s discussion of a September 2015 ONA contract that proves the most significant:
US Senator Chuck Grassley requested that the FBI bring Pientka before the Senate to testify on the Russia sham investigation. The FBI never did comply with Grassley.
Overall Pientka was:
Supervisor of Crossfire Hurricane.
The Crossfire Hurricane team members were selected by Peter Strzok, the Intel Section Chief, and Pientka.
The agents reported to Pientka.
Pientka reported operational activities to Strzok.
Pientka and Strzok entrapped General Flynn in the White House and lied about Flynn's lying to the FBI
Pientka was a member of the Crossfire Hurricane gang that was running the sham Trump Russia collusion investigation.
So the missing Joe Pientka is possibly a songbird being protected That's going to keep a lot of criminals up at night.

On Feb. 1, Clinton and her team were enraged that Sanders had gotten to within a percent of her victory in the midwestern state, and sought to deprive the man of even a sentimental victory.
"I just don’t want him to get out there and say the revolution is working, [that] people ’felt the Bern,’" she says, before quickly leaving the room to beat him to a speech. Clinton adds that she found his socialist proposals unrealistic and phony. "I had people in my campaign say, ’Just say ’’Free college.’’ Millennials love it,’ " she says. "And I said ’no.’ "
Whenever Sanders is onscreen, his underscoring is brooding and villainous, like Darth Vader just took off his helmet for a breather. In a hallway before a debate in New Hampshire, Sanders asks a tense Clinton how she feels about his suit. "Buttoned or unbuttoned?" he says. Irked, she tells him to undo the button as soon as he gets "worked up."

So typical of our era's political class that after they get bitch-slapped by the voters, they go to Hollywood and have their screenwriter pals script their own reality. These people truly are living inside a fantasy realm.

It's an old saw that politics is Hollywood for ugly people. Now Hollywood is the politicians' retirement plan (as if they didn't already have an obscenely good one, compared to the rest of us) and the ugliness inside actual movie stars comes out every time most of them open their mouths.

I've been wondering about this myself.
It seems the 'House of Resentfulness' has unlimited weapons to fire at the prez. Can not the executive branch fire back? I don't know what weapons they have. I imagine there might be a few.
