Google Whistleblower Suggests His Wife’s Fatal Car Crash May Not Have Been Accidental
We had the story of the lady’s death at the end of last year.
[Summit] Says he was warned of an “accident” months before.

Google whistleblower Dr. Robert Epstein has suggested that his wife’s fatal car crash may not have been accidental.

Last month, Misti Dawn Vaughn’s Ford Ranger spun out of control on a slippery road in California and veered into the path of a tractor trailer. She died from her injuries days later.

Police concluded that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.

In a tweet posted last night, Epstein appeared to suggest that the crash was not accidental and Vaughn’s vehicle could have been tampered with.

“Last year, after I briefed a group of state AGs about #Google’s power to rig elections, one of them said, “I think you’re going to die in an accident in a few months,” wrote Epstein.

“A few months later, my beautiful wife #Misti died a violent death. Makes you wonder,” he added.

Through his exhaustive studies, Epstein has exposed how algorithm manipulation by Big Tech can shift millions of votes during elections.

After the 2016 presidential election, Epstein surmised that search engine bias shifted 2-3 million votes in Hillary Clinton’s favor.

Epstein has also repeatedly savaged the idea that Big Tech platforms are just “private companies” and can therefore do what they like.

“Who on Earth gave these private companies the power to make decisions about what everyone in the world is going to see or not see?” asked Epstein, adding, “These companies shouldn’t have that power, period.”

Crying Chucky Schumer Throws Tantrum as 'Midnight Mitch' McConnell Lays Down the Law on Impeachment
[PJMedia] It's always fun to watch Democrats be told no. They don't take it very well and that, my friends, is entertainment. Mitch McConnell released his rules for the Senate impeachment trial and they are short and sweet. Everything the Democrats want, like re-trying this whole sham with more witnesses they dug up from somewhere in Gloria Allred's Rolodex, is unlikely to happen. (Or at least, it better not if Republicans want to stop this insanity.)

McConnell's tight rules for the trial were released around midnight on Monday leading Twitter hysterics to start trending #MidnightMitch in conjunction with their outrage.

The President and the House of Representatives shall have until 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, to file any motions permitted under the rules of impeachment with the exception of motions to subpoena witnesses or documents or any other evidentiary motions,” McConnell’s resolution stated. “Responses to any such motions shall be filed no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. All materials filed pursuant to this paragraph shall be filed with the Secretary and be printed and made available to all parties.

Arguments on such motions shall begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, and each side may determine the number of persons to make its presentation, following which the Senate shall deliberate, if so ordered under the impeachment rules, and vote on any such motions...

The rules go on to lay out that each side will have no more than two days to make their cases. This, of course, is sending Democrats, who want to turn this into a sideshow freak-a-thon that lasts through February, or possibly longer, into fits of rage. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) tweeted, "Under this resolution, Senator McConnell is saying he doesn't want to hear any of the existing evidence, and he doesn't want to hear any new evidence."

#1  "Under this resolution, Senator McConnell is saying he doesn't want to hear any of the existing evidence, and he doesn't want to hear any new evidence."

No, he's giving your side two days to do the former. He is not required or compelled to consider the latter. To the extent the latter is of sufficient evidentiary quality, it will only expose the former's gross and massive deficiencies in its evidentiary quality.

Oh - and GFY, Chuck!

Jerry Nadler Suggests Having No Impeachment Witnesses Preferable to Hunter Biden Testifying
[PJ Media] Democrats are so afraid of Hunter Biden testifying in the impeachment trial of Donald Trump that they would rather have no impeachment witnesses than risk the country hearing his testimony. During an interview on CBS’s "Face the Nation" on Sunday, Nadler said Democrats would not be willing to negotiate on witnesses for the Senate trial. In fact, he suggested that any attempts by the GOP to block or negotiate on witnesses were tantamount to a cover-up.
Yep. Cover up. They are covering things up by bringing in witnesses. Slavery is Freedom.
"Is there any circumstance in which Democrats would consider, for reciprocity, having Hunter Biden come and testify?" asked CBS’s Margaret Brennan.

"You know, the question of witnesses in any trial, in any trial, all relevant witnesses must be heard," replied Nadler. "Whether if‐if you’re accused of robbing a bank, testi‐testimony that I saw him rob the bank or he was somewhere else, he couldn’t have robbed the bank, is admissible. It’s not negotiable whether you have witnesses. And this whole controversy about whether there should be witnesses is just‐is really a question of does the Senate want to have a fair trial or do they‐or are they part of the cover-up of the president? Any Republican senator who says there should be no witnesses or even that witnesses should be negotiated is part of the cover-up."

After that longwinded non-answer, Brennan asked more pointedly, "So, you’re saying no way would Hunter Biden ever be called to testify?"

"Well, I’m saying that Hunter Biden has no knowledge of the accusations against the president," Nadler replied. "Did the president, as we said‐as the evidence shows that he did‐betray his country by conspiring with a foreign country to‐to try to rig the election? Hunter Biden has nothing to say about that. Their‐their asking for Hunter Biden is just more of a smear of Hunter Biden that the president’s trying to get the Ukraine to do."

GWU Constitutional Law Professor Jonathan Turley believes that Nadler is suggesting that "if a trade is needed to secure House witnesses, the managers will not agree to any witnesses if Hunter Biden is part of the deal."
FYI, the managers have no say in this. They are there to prosecute based on what the house impeached on. This is the senate's show.
"If true, is the House prepared to give up on proving its case to protect the Bidens from the ignoble moment of answering questions about the Ukraine contract? That is a considerable price to pay to protect Joe Biden," Turley added.

What exactly is Nadler afraid of? Hunter Biden being questioned about his dealings in Ukraine, his father’s knowledge of those dealings and the White House access Burisma effectively bought by putting him on the board? Any shady dealings that could come up in testimony would undeniably prove that President Trump was justified in suggesting the Bidens deserved scrutiny. House managers would still be able to cross-examine Hunter Biden. But, Nadler is clearly worried that even if they cross-examine Hunter Biden the damage will have been done.
It will force the MSM and those that doesn't pay attention to face the fact that Biden and his political allies are corrupt as hell.

Parnas now denies speaking with Trump despite reports he claimed he had
[Washington Examiner] Indicted businessman Lev Parnas said he did not speak directly with President Trump about a pressure campaign against Ukraine that sought to benefit Trump politically, despite earlier reports to the contrary.

Last November, CNN reported that Parnas told close associates he had spoken to Trump. "At one point during the party that night, Parnas and Fruman slipped out of a large reception room packed with hundreds of Trump donors to have a private meeting with the President and Giuliani, according to two acquaintances in whom Parnas confided right after the meeting," CNN wrote.

"Eventually, according to what Parnas told his confidants, the topic turned to Ukraine that night," the article continued. "According to those two confidants, Parnas said that 'the big guy,' as he sometimes referred to the President in conversation, talked about tasking him and Fruman with what Parnas described as 'a secret mission' to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter."

The New York Times told a different story Wednesday, reporting: "Mr. Parnas said that although he did not speak with Mr. Trump about the efforts, he met with the president on several occasions and was told by Mr. Giuliani that Mr. Trump was kept in the loop."

Parnas's decision to go public has led to congressional Democrats demanding that he and other key players in the pressure campaign be called to testify in next week's Senate impeachment trial.

Legal Insurrection: If Senate Republicans Take The Hard Vote Now On Impeachment Witnesses, They Will Not Regret It In November
From the article:
Screw the base by letting Adam Schiff do to the impeachment trial what Senate Democrats did to the Kavanaugh hearings, and Republicans will have hell to pay in November from their own base. It's like the vote on Kavanaugh in that way
This has been my concern despite all the "Murder Turtle" and "The Dems done messed up this time!" rhetoric.

It's only a problem for the Dems if they don't have the active cooperation of squids like Romney and Murky.

To say nothing of the "pragmatic" GOPers who always get hustled by the Donks in these types of negotiations.

Joe Biden calls game developers ‘little creeps’ who make titles that ‘teach you how to kill’
[TechSpot] Not a Call of Duty fan, then?
Don't forget he told coal miners to switch to coding..
Politicians rarely have anything good to say about video games, and former US vice president Joe Biden is particularly unimpressed by the industry, calling developers he met at the White House “creeps” and “arrogant” who make games that teach people how to kill.

Biden, who is currently campaigning to become the Democratic nominee for the 2020 presidential election, shared his opinions in an interview with the New York Times. When asked about Silicon Valley’s expansion of power during his time in the Obama administration, Biden said: “And you may recall, the criticism I got for meeting with the leaders in Silicon Valley, when I was trying to work out an agreement dealing with them protecting intellectual property for artists in the United States of America. And at one point, one of the little creeps sitting around that table, who was a multi- — close to a billionaire — who told me he was an artist because he was able to come up with games to teach you how to kill people.”

As for which game executive Biden was referring to as a creep, Kotaku has some theories about who the person might be, including EA’s then-CEO John Riccitiello.

“And then one of these righteous people said to me that, you know, 'We are the economic engine of America. We are the ones.' And fortunately I had done a little homework before I went and I said, you know, I find it fascinating,” Biden continued. “As I added up the seven outfits, everyone’s there but Microsoft. I said, you have fewer people on your payroll than all the losses that General Motors just faced in the last quarter, of employees. So don’t lecture me about how you’ve created all this employment.. The point is, there’s an arrogance about it, an overwhelming arrogance that we are, we are the ones. We can do what we want to do. I disagree.”

Biden has expressed his distaste for video games in the past. During 2013, while he was vice president, he proposed an additional tax on violent media, including violent games

#3  Actually, he's right. It's absurd that these immature little boy-men have attained such a stranglehold on our politics.

Henry Ford made American workers the best paid in the world, and lifted millions of uneducated, native-born rural southern and midwestern Americans out of hardscrabble poverty. American living standards soared. Life expectancy increased. Detroit became the arsenal of democracy.

Under the recent 30+ year reign of our boy-men billionaires, the American working class collapsed. Life expectancy in many parts of the nation is FALLING-- same as it did during Russia's spectacular collapse in the 1990s. These f---ers presided over the rise of Communist China from third-world shithole to wealthy global rival of the US.

Nice job. Well done, you seditious self-regarding little pricks.

Biden is 100% correct on this issue.
Posted by: Lex || 01/21/2020 1:05 Comments || Top||

#4  If Biden hits this issue, hard, and makes a big push in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, he will have a decent shot at defeating Trump.

Trump needs to get out front of this major populist issue and denounce our shitty little tech oligarchs wherever and however he can.

Mark my word: this is likely to become THE issue in November. The oligarchs are NOT creating jobs. They're not making our country, our communities, our families or our culture or our young men stronger.

In many ways they've seriously weakened all of the above.

No serious candidate this fall will support the economic concentration and outright corruption that we've seen during the Google-Facebook-Amazon era.

That era's coming to a close.

#5  Henry Ford made American workers the best paid in the world

Noteworthy because Ford used the American working class and replicating each unit of work (a car!) required an equivalent amount of American material and American labor.

No comparison when using H1b or offshore pools of developers and each product replicant is just a bit stream.

Nice bit of 'agitation prose' though.

#10  /\ "Little creeps" may be a good description but they are likely here to stay. And as was said they are most likely Dem supporters.

Amazon coming to an end? I don't think so. Both Amazon and Wal-Mart clobbered mom and pop businesses in small towns years ago. There are many elderly citizens living in these small towns who bought their homes years ago, paid them off, and raised a family. They worked there until local industry left. They stayed behind and retired while the local industry exodus occurred. A spouse might have passed away. They may have to drive quite a few miles to an urban center to shop or to go to the doctor or about anything else since local businesses have dried up. The local housing market in these small towns has also dried up. If they do manage to sell their house, it is difficult to find a house or apartment in the urban area they can afford. They are stuck in a small community living on a pension and might be in their 80s or 90s. This elderly population often depends upon Amazon and UPS for many of their needs. Likewise, they get flummoxed by the computer and the tech revolution. If they have computer problems, they generally have to call someone in to fix the problem. Many of these small town aging residents are likely Pub supporters.

Talking about an industry which is going to put hollywood under ground and soon as decent VR controls and games get mainstream. I look at the systems now, and they remind me of Centipede, Pac-Man, Star Wars, just starting to get an idea of what can be done and how to program it.

For the same price as a movie, you can get 100s of hours of entertainment from a game.

EA Sports nothing short of dominates video game sportsball.

Universities are piloting video game player scholarships.

Been through the 'Dungeons and Dragons is the Devil' and 'Doom will raise a generation of mass murderers' trials. Absolutely ridiculous.

#17  #5 Nice bit of agitation prose

Ford the man was a nasty character who loathed The Juice, but his heirs supported a better culture, a finer society, in ways that are unthinkable to today's gazillionaire boy-men.

Here's an example of what Ford made possible -- it's almost unthinkable today that someone who's made a billion would spend some tiny portion of that to support something asgreat and noble as the most brilliant American classical musician and conductor of the last 70 years using his extraordinary wisdom and knowledge to educate millions of Americans, via mass media, in the finer points of conducting a Beethoven symphony.

Instead we gave Instagram and TikTok, butts and Woke stupidity and ugliness.

I have nothing against video games. I'm not defending Kie "Plugz" Biden's screed against them. I am indeed defending his anger at the paltry, narrow, greedy and foolishly immature nature of our current tech oligarchs generally.
