Ron Paul wishes Israel didn't exist
Former senior aide to Republican presidential hopeful says that while Paul is not an anti-Semite, he believes Israel is 'more trouble than it's worth'

#2  Ron Paul is too goddamn nuts and some of his ideas too wacky.

Can y'all do something about Bambi, too, Penguin? ;-p

#4  During the Terry Jones Koran burning kerfuffle Paul sided with the political establishment's consensus and 'blasted Jones.'

That's peculiar because one would expect an isolationist to reject foreign interference and libertarian to defend basic civil rights against harassment by governments foreign and domestic.

Whatever the foundation of Paul's political philosophy might be, it is neither libertarian nor isolationist.

#5  Ace o' Spades has been running some posts on just how nutty Mr. Paul is.

The answer is, really nutty.

Apparently some of his support comes from a quiet, reverse 'Operation Chaos' from independents and Democrats who are crossing over to vote in the Pub primaries and opinion polls.

#6  from independents and Democrats who are crossing over to vote in the Pub primaries and opinion polls

If Ron doesn't work out, they may have to go off the deep end and vote for Obamanure.

#7  Damn, Gorb, why don't we nominate Hitler, then we can really accuse all the people who don't vote for him of Loving Obama.

#8  Ron Paul is the crazy old aunt of American politics. After the first three or four primaries, he'll drop into last place, drop out, run as an independent, get <1% of the vote, and have absolutely no effect on O'Bumble's humiliating defeat. I hope that's enough to get him to retire from Presidential contests. Enough is enough!

#9  "I hope that's enough to get him to retire from Presidential contests."

Sorry, OP - not gonna happen.

I expect him to continue campaigning forever. even from his coffin. :-(

#10  Ron Paul will probably get some delegates in Iowa and some in a few other places (although no where near the 400 or so delegates that Jesse Jackson won in 1984). It will be enough for him to get someone to nominate him at the convention.

#11  He wants us to be like Switzerland without the yodeling.

#12  Let me see here, yep, that's everthing but the kitchen sink. Oops! there it is.

#13  "He wants us to be like Switzerland without the yodeling."

Are you sure, Jack?

#14  The man is what 78 years old. He will have a great deal of history. He is too old in my opinion to run but he should have a shot at it. The thing that gets me is the attacks on Palin, Bachmann, Trump, Cain, Newt, and now Paul. Last election same thing. Good grief caca pulled one guy down last time.
