[FoxNews] Social media users mocked Planned Parenthood Dr. Bhavik Kumar for arguing that "men can have pregnancies" during Thursday’s House hearing.
Democrats called for a House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing to discuss how recent abortion restrictions could harm patients. During the questioning, Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., asked Kumar, who works as a Medical Director for Primary and Trans Care, whether a man can get pregnant.
"Men can have pregnancies, especially trans men," Kumar answered.
Clyde asked, "So are you saying that a biological female who identifies as a man and therefore becomes pregnant is, quote, a man? Is that what you’re saying?"
"Somebody with a uterus may have the capability of becoming pregnant, whether they’re a woman or a man," Dr. Kumar responded. So should "women" be tested for Prostate Cancer you idiot?
Twitter users attacked Kumar’s wording along with the insistence that men are capable of being pregnant.
"This is now a mainstream position among Democratic politicians. If you think it's crazy, vote Republican this fall," Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton tweeted.

[JustTheNews] Just the News, New York Post, Fox News, Epoch Times and Breitbart were identified among the "most prominent domains" whose election coverage was cited in tweets flagged by the Election Integrity Partnership and its collaborators.
The private consortium that reported election "misinformation" to tech platforms during the 2020 election season, in "consultation" with federal agencies, targeted several news organizations in its dragnet.
Websites for Just the News, New York Post, Fox News, Washington Examiner, Washington Times, Epoch Times and Breitbart were identified among the 20 "most prominent domains across election integrity incidents" that were cited in tweets flagged by the Election Integrity Partnership and its collaborators.
The Washington Post, New York Times and CNN also appeared on the list, though the consortium's after-action report emphasizes most of the mainstream media reports "were referenced as fact-checks" that played a "corrective role" against "misleading narratives."
The report also identified the 21 "most prominent repeat spreaders [of misinformation] on Twitter," all of them politically classified as "right." Actor James Woods led that group, followed by The Gateway Pundit blog, Donald Trump Jr. and President Trump himself. The report emphasized 15 were verified by Twitter.
The Stanford Internet Observatory, University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public, think tank Atlantic Council, and social media analytics firm Graphika claimed their consortium had a 35% success rate getting flagged content removed, throttled or labeled.
The Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the State Department, and liberal groups such as the Democratic National Committee, also flagged purported misinformation through the consortium.
"No news organization should be subjected to an enemies/censorship list for reporting newsworthy facts" Just the News Editor in Chief John Solomon said in a statement. "It's even more egregious that this censorship machinery was prodded, aided and sanctioned by the federal government."
Individuals and organizations named on the lists told Just the News they put no stock in the designations.
"Gateway Pundit is reviewing its legal options," General Counsel John Burns wrote in an email, calling the "fascist, public-private partnership ... a very simple nexus or entwinement case, with deep Supreme Court precedent."
"How is this any different from what happens in Communist Party-controlled China?" publisher Jim Hoft said. "The scary thing is, the EIP is only a single office within the greater government-wide Ministry of Truth."
"We noticed a massive drop off on and around the 2020 elections. It got really bad after [Jan. 6, 2021]," paired with apparent "increased leftwing bot activity," Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk wrote in a text message.
"Compared to my engagement on every other platform, there's no question that this new revelation fits with our lived experience on Twitter," he said. "That tax payer dollars are being spent to censor half the country is a travesty and whoever is behind this must be held accountable."
"The definition of 'disinformation' is now any reported facts that go against the world view of the political establishment," Breitbart News Editor in Chief Alexander Marlow wrote in an email.
The consortium "relies on innuendo and insinuation to imply we are not trustworthy and thus should be censored" rather than accusing Breitbart "of publishing inaccurate stories," he said. The company is being targeted for "having a massively powerful platform that leads the political conversation every single day."
"We're in the middle of what I would call the 'Great Suppression,'" Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told Just the News. He was suspended by Twitter for several months for comments on hydroxychloroquine.
"Censorship is a civil rights issue," he wrote in a text message. "Not only do we have the right to speak, but we have the right to petition the government and be free from retaliation."
"This is the destruction of American liberty right before our eyes," conservative activist Pamela Geller wrote in an email. She called it "more than just campaign rhetoric ... This is a fascist regime aiming to criminalize political dissent."
Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec said "the crooked scumbags that run the regime target me so often" because they are "terrified" of him.
"We are not going to stop fighting for freedom until their entire edifice [is] torn down," he vowed.
The consortium report said it identified domains that were "linked to by more than 500 tweets or retweets" in multiple incidents, and further explained the role some of them allegedly played in an appendix on "additional partisan news outlets."

I seem to recall some type of law against this:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
If it is working "In consultation with Federal Agencies' it is *not* a private consortium but as abn extension of the Government.

She first filed a lawsuit to delay the certification of the vote and her campaign manager vowed that the race was not over. But ultimately Kemp’s 58,000 vote margin of victory was too much for Abrams to overcome and after 10 days she shut down her campaign.
A couple weeks later, Abrams’ campaign manager, Lauren Groh-Wargo, moved into a new job as the CEO of Fair Fight Action, a group founded by Stacey Abrams. As Abrams had promised, Fair Fight Action filed a federal lawsuit promising a broad look at Georgia’s unfair election system on November 27, 2018.
State elections officials "grossly mismanaged" the 2018 election in a way that deprived some citizens, particularly low-income people and people of color, of their right to vote in violation of their constitutional rights, the lawsuit says. It was filed by Fair Fight Action against interim Secretary of State Robyn Crittenden and state election board members in their official capacities.
"The general election for governor is over, but the citizens and voters of Georgia deserve an election system that they can have confidence in," Lauren Groh-Wargo, Abrams’ campaign manager who’s now CEO of Fair Fight Action, told reporters on the steps of the federal courthouse in Atlanta...
"This lawsuit is going to look broadly at all the ways our secretary of suppression, Brian Kemp, suppressed the vote," Groh-Wargo said.
That lawsuit dragged on for more than three years but in April it finally went to trial. Stacey Abrams was going to prove once and for all that the 2018 election had been unfair.
Yesterday Fair Fight Action lost the case on all counts. A judge appointed by Barack Obama found nothing raised in the lawsuit violated the constitution or the Voting Rights Act.
U.S. District Judge Steve Jones’ judgment concludes the ambitious case against Georgia’s voter registration and absentee ballot practices after a trial in which voters testified about problems at the polls but few of them were unable to cast a ballot.
"Although Georgia’s election system is not perfect, the challenged practices violate neither the Constitution nor the VRA (Voting Rights Act)," Jones wrote in a 288-page order...
Jones ruled against Fair Fight on claims over Georgia’s "exact match" voter registration policy, absentee ballot cancellation practices and registration inaccuracies...

[JustTheNews] Exxon Mobile CEO Darren Woods has warned the Department of Energy that a plan to curtail foreign fuel exports to beef up domestic storage of natural resources would destabilize markets.
"Continuing current Gulf Coast exports is essential to efficiently rebalance markets—particularly with diverted Russian supplies," he said in a letter to the DOE, which the Wall Street Journal obtained. "Reducing global supply by limiting U.S. exports to build region-specific inventory will only aggravate the global supply shortfall."
"Free market incentives remain the most efficient way for the industry to address these problems," he continued.
Concerns about Northeastern fuel supplies, especially in the New England region, have prompted federal efforts to prepare for rolling blackouts and a brutal winter as residents of those areas will likely face a significant energy shortage. The region has attempted to make a long term transition to renewable energy, but development of such facilities has been outpaced by the closure of existing plants reliant on fossil fuels.
Woods's letter comes in response to an initiative from DOE Secretary Jennifer Granholm, who in August wrote a letter to oil company executives asking them to limit foreign exports voluntarily, but hinted that the government may pursue "additional federal requirements or emergency measures" should they fail to do so, the WSJ reported.
"The most effective way to resolve this issue without having to deploy emergency actions is for industry to prioritize building inventories during this critical window," the letter continued.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Democratic challenger Robert “Beto” O’Rourke AKA The Micksican
sparred over border security efforts during their first and only debate Friday night.
Border security was cited by moderators as the number one issue to residents of Edinburgh, the border town in which the debate was held. Its residents say they are tired of the crime and influx of people and drugs burdening their community.
The first question asked was: “What would you do to alleviate the financial burden on border communities?”
Abbott responded by saying he would continue the efforts of Operation Lone Star, the border initiative he launched in 2021 just a few months after President Joe Biden took office, when illegal border crossings began to surge.
O’Rourke said the operation “was a total failure” but didn't offer any specific solutions.
The Texas legislature has allocated $4 billion to fund Operation Lone Star, which since last March has resulted in state law enforcement officials apprehending more than 308,700 foreign nationals who entered the country illegally, making more than 20,200 criminal arrests, including more than 17,900 on felony charges, and confiscating enough fentanyl to kill everyone in the United States.
“Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps left by the Biden Administration's refusal to secure the border,” Abbott has argued prior to Friday's debate. “Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Biden's open border policies.”
When asked how much more the state should spend to protect Texans, Abbott said, “Zero if we had a president enforcing immigration laws.”
O’Rourke said Operation Lone Star is “political theater,” and Texas taxpayers “shouldn’t spend any more money on it.”
He said he supports a “safe, legal, orderly way to allow people to enter the country,” and that he would “work with local leaders to make sure we alleviate the burden” on them.
A video clip was played of O’Rourke saying at a recent campaign event that the Texas National Guard members were sent to the border “to be a solution in search of a problem,” implying there was no border crisis. Moderators reminded O'Rourke that he told The Houston Chronicle he would put National Guard troops on the border, leading the moderator to again ask him what his position was.
“So far, four guard members have lost their lives while serving during Operation Lone Star,” O’Rourke said, and the operation was “a complete failure for the state.”
Roughly 10,000 guardsmen and women have been called up to participate in OLS.
When asked about busing people released by the Biden administration into Texas who entered the U.S. illegally, Abbott said the strategy began after he met with local officials who asked for help. Their communities were overrun by the amount of people pouring in; busing them out provided much needed relief to local communities, he said.
In response to a video clip played of New York City Mayor Eric Adams claiming Abbott refused to coordinate with him on transporting people to New York, Abbott said, “Mayor Adams has never called my office. What he’s saying is flat out false.”
He added that O’Rourke “continues to flip flop on every single issue, including the border, no matter the issue he keeps changing his position.”
O’Rourke said busing people north “is a political stunt.” He said he grew up on the border in El Paso, adding that “El Paso is one of the safest cities in America.”
According to Crimegrade.org, El Paso has a D- overall crime grade; a violent crime grade of a D+; property crime grade is a D-; and other crime a D-.
According to El Paso Police Department data released this summer, auto thefts are up 48%, assaults are up 15%, burglaries (home, vehicle, building) are down 34%, while murders and robberies remain steady, the El Paso Times reported.
El Paso, federal officials have increasingly warned, is a major human trafficking and kidnapping destination of cartel operatives coming across the southern border.
With the amount of foreign nationals unlawfully being released into El Paso by the Biden administration, its Democratic mayor and city council chose to bus “more people out of the city than the state is,” Abbott said.
Roughly 900 people a day are being released by the Biden administration in El Paso, according to news reports last month. Jorge Rodriguez of El Paso’s Office of Emergency Management said in August, the city’s shelters couldn’t handle the influx of people. Charter buses were contracted to move people out, El Paso Deputy City Manager Mario D’Agostino told local news outlets at the time, “to help a strained system.”
In the last week of August, El Paso’s shelters took in 2,235 people who’d been released into the city by the Biden administration. In August, roughly 8,400 people released into El Paso went elsewhere into the U.S., according to city data.
In the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Sector that includes El Paso, agents have reported encountering roughly 1,500 people a day, excluding gotaways – a term used by border patrol to describe those who evade capture of law enforcement.
O’Rourke said El Paso’s busing more people out than Texas was an “apples to oranges” comparison, but wouldn’t elaborate further.
O’Rourke “wants to perpetuate the open border policies of the Biden administration,” Abbott said. “He refused to acknowledge the busing strategy of El Paso because they have no way to sustain the influx of people.”
Abbott said he will continue to bus people to sanctuary cities as long as the border remains open, and he is expanding sanctuary city destinations.
So far, Texas has bused more than 8,100 people to Washington, D.C., since April, over 2,900 people to New York City since August 5, and more than 870 people to Chicago since August 31.

I watched a soundless MSNBC version of the debate on a treadmill at the gym on Saturday night. Having no volume allowed me to ignore the DACA bozo commenting as I viewed a Fox version on the next treadmill and some type of Survivor episode two lanes over. The lesson I learned from on my ordeal was that Brian Stelter’s abysmal ratings were probably bolstered by empty treadmills across the country. He will probably have a bigger impact on American thought at Harvard initially until his students realize that they should cut his class and be more productive by playing Pokémon Go on the subway.

[Breitbart] Even as more than 100,000 Americans are dying from drug overdoses and poisonings every year, many linked to fentanyl, House Democrats have blocked a plan that would crack down on the deadly substance flowing almost exclusively from the United States-Mexico border into American communities.
This week, 220 House Democrats blocked consideration for Rep. Michelle Fischbach’s (R-MN) Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl Act to permanently classify fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act.
Such a change would make it permanently illegal to sell fentanyl-related substances.
In April, House Democrats blocked consideration of similar legislation that would have cracked down on fentanyl-related substances. Consistent blockage of bills to combat fentanyl overdoses and poisonings comes as Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials have warned parents to carry Naloxone in case their child is overdosing on fentanyl.
A pattern. Time to move the effort to the states, and those states that care can spend the money, while those that don’t can bury dead drug users that moved there for the high.
The warning is in response to concerns that the Mexican drug cartels, trafficking most of all of the China-manufactured fentanyl into the U.S., are targeting children by packaging tens of thousands of fentanyl pills in Skittles and Nerds candy bags along with vape pens.
Most recently, in Phoenix, Arizona, law enforcement investigators seized nearly a million fentanyl pills in a stash house. Just two milligrams of fentanyl can kill one person.
