Lt. Col. Scheller to plead guilty, seeks honorable discharge
[Newsmax] Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller Jr. is going to stick to his call for accountability and plead guilty to several charges in his Marine court-martial, according to one of his attorneys Tuesday.

"This case began with a call for accountability and Lt. Col. Scheller will demonstrate to senior leadership how to accept accountability for his own actions," attorney Tim Parlatore told told The Hill.

Scheller's legal team is working on an agreement with the hope of securing an honorable discharge after he criticized Biden administration military leaders and called for their accountability after 13 U.S. service members were killed in an ISIS-K suicide bombing during the evacuation phase of the Afghanistan withdrawal at the end of August.

Scheller, a 17-year Marine, took to social media in his calls for senior leaders being held accountable and was reduced by his command to work in an office. After being given a gag order, Scheller violated that order and was sent to the brig, a military prison, while he awaited a pretrial hearing for his violating the gag order.

The week in the brig was "totally excessive and unnecessary," Parlatore told The Hill.

"The real big question that remains is whether all the very important messages that he brought out will be adopted," Parlatore said, adding "nobody is saying that he said anything that was untrue."

EU Increases Aid Pledge to Afghanistan, Its Neighbors
[ToloNews] The European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
will give an additional 700 million euros ($809.2 million) in emergency aid to Afghanistan and its neighbouring countries, the European Commission said ahead of Tuesday’s Group of 20 Afghan summit.

The pledge takes the total commitment of new funding to 1 billion euros after the EU executive’s earlier promise of 300 million euros to help to prevent basic services in Afghanistan from collapsing and food from running out.

"We must do all we can to avert a major humanitarian and socio-economic collapse in Afghanistan," European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in a statement, adding that the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
who seized Kabul on Aug. 15 must first meet the EU’s five conditions for longer-term aid.

Afghanistan’s interim cabinet makes key decisions
[KhaamaPress] Afghanistan’s caretaker cabinet in a ministerial meeting in Presidential Palace on Monday, October 11 made some key decisions in security and economic spheres.

A statement released from Presidential Palace (ARG) reads that the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Hassan Akhund discussed political, economic, and security issues and made some key decisions.

The statement reads that the leadership ordered the expulsion of the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
members who are not needed and ill-treat people.

In the meeting, the cabinet pledged to be setting up a depot for humanitarian aids provided by the international community and added to be distributed transparently.

"The security bodies were directed to ensure the security of ministries and government administrations and for the Afghan traders and investors." Reads the statement.

In the meantime, the caretaker cabinet directed the resolution of the problems of transportation unions in the country and added to be giving license to a helicopter firm to fly freely in Afghanistan.
Earlier there have been reports that individuals allegedly related to the Islamic Emirate forces have disturbed, beaten and otherwise caused problems for the people; however, the Emirate stressed that no one is allowed to illegally act toward the people.

India to ban cargo from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran
[KhaamaPress] India’s largest port operator said on Monday, October 11 that they will not handle cargo from Afghanistan, Pakistain, and Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
from November 15.

The decision Adani ports were made after the seizure of nearly three tonnes of heroin from two containers at the Mundra Port of India’s western coast in Gujrat state last month.

The consignment which authorities said originated from Afghanistan was worth an estimated $2.65 billion.

The decision by Adani ports will also be applicable for all terminals including third-party terminals.

The Adani Ports said that they do not have the authority to examine the millions of tonnes of cargo that pass through its terminals.

The decision will impact the already crippled economy of Afghanistan and will harm Afghan traders and farmers.
All those poor opium farmers will have to once again consider going in for saffron, pistachios, or wheat. Because the Talib government needs its taxes.

Malian extremist apologizes to world court for Timbuktu destruction
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A Malian holy warrior apologized on Tuesday for his role in destroying the fabled shrines of Timbuktu as he asked judges at the International Criminal Court to release him from prison.

Ahmad al-Faqi al-Mahdi, who was sentenced to nine years imprisonment in 2016, was a changed man who had learned to play guitar and to sew while in jail, his lawyer told the ICC.

"I stand before you today to express to the whole world my remorse, my sadness and my regret for all the crimes I have committed in the past and the damage resulting from these crimes," al-Mahdi told the court.

"I assure you that I have completely separated myself from the world of crime and I will never return," added al-Mahdi, who had cut his long curly hair short and shaved his beard for the hearing.

Al-Mahdi was the first person to be convicted by the ICC for the war crime of attacking a nation’s cultural heritage, over the destruction of the UNESCO world heritage site at Timbuktu.

The town was occupied by the holy warrior group Ansar Dine
...a mainly Tuareg group that controlled areas of Mali's northern desert together with Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) and MUJAO in early 2012...
, one of the al-Qaeda-linked groups which controlled Mali for around 10 months in 2012 before being driven out by a French-led international intervention.

They took pickaxes to 14 of the town’s famous mausoleums of Moslem saints.

"Mr al-Mahdi has spent six years in detention and during those six years, he has become a much better person... he is not the same person he was when he arrived in The Hague," his lawyer Mohammed Aouini told the court.

"He has learned French, English, computers and maths in the detention center; he has learned to cook, to sew, and to play piano and guitar," he said.

Prosecutors said they would be inclined to look favorably on a reduction in his sentence.

The ICC has estimated the value of the damage caused by al-Mahdi at 2.7 million euros ($3.1 million).

Polish foreign ministry warns migrants of harsh winters, reinforced borders
[Rudaw] Poland’s deputy prime minister of foreign affairs warned migrants colonists against crossing into the country in attempt to reach the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
, saying they would be faced with a reenforced border and brutal winter. This comes as Iraqi and Kurdish migrants colonists continue to be stuck at the border with Belarus.

"The situation at the Polish-Belarusian border is dire, it’s very difficult, because the border is very well protected, there are a lot of border guards. We’ve built a fence and we are still building the next fence in order to stop the illegal migration," Marcin Przydacz, Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs told Rudaw’s Bestoon Othman on Tuesday. "It’s a very low possibility that someone can cross the border without being noticed."

Thousands of migrants colonists, mostly from the Middle East, have tried to gain entry to EU nations from Belarus in recent months. The EU has accused Minsk of pushing migrants colonists to their borders in protest of sanctions imposed in response to a crackdown on dissent. Przydacz said the "artificial migration crisis" created by Belarus is an attempt to exert pressure on EU countries.

"Don’t go to Belarus, I mean if you are Iraqi or Kurdish person who would like to apply for a visa just do it in your respected country rather than go to Belarus because there is absolutely no chance that you will cross the border, you will get trapped, you will deprived of documents and money and sent to the forest during the winter time," Przydacz claimed.

"Given the fact that the winter is coming in Poland and Belarus, the temperatures are low it will be even worse. You know that in Poland we have quite harsh winters; minus 20, sometimes minus 30, so it’s being very very difficult at the border," said the official.

On whether they will try to fix relations with Minsk, the deputy minister said "there are absolutely no signals that there will be any change of the EU policy toward Belarus. The only victim of this policy are citizens of Belarus and also citizens of other countries, including Iraq."

Few have passed though, being put in detention at the Polish and Lithuanian borders, and they are "waiting to be sent back to Iraq." Most of them are economic migrants colonists, the official said, adding that there are special procedures for those who are political asylum-seekers, but there are "not many" applications for that.

He added that they are in talks with authorities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

Polish campaigners warned of a humanitarian crisis last month as the migrant corpse count on the border rose to six. There had been several cases of dire situations of Kurds on the border.

Supreme Court will today hear arguments to reinstate the death penalty for Boston Marathon bomber over 2013 attack that killed three and injured more than 200
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News]
  • US Supreme Court will hear arguments today to reinstate death sentence on Boston Marathon bomber

  • Lawyers for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
...the pretty, ethnic-Chechen college boy from Dagestan who, with the highly connected but self-radicalized older brother he subsequently ran over while fleeing police, used pressure cooker bombs to blow up the Boston Marathon in 2013. The mosque the brothers frequented, the Islamic Society of Boston, is a hotbed of jihadi sentiment and connections to so many different jihadi groups and individuals the mind boggles. It was founded by Clinton Friend and Al Qaeda financier Abdurahman Alamoudi as a Muslim Student Assn/Muslim Brotherhood project in 1981. According to Russian intelligence, whose warning about our lads President Barack Obama’s intelligence agencies ignored until afterward, the Tsarnaev boys had lots of jihadi-connected friends back in the Olde Countrie, too, but nobody seems to to have found a formal connection between them and any registered jihadi group ...
claim he played a secondary role to his brother

  • President Biden's administration chose to carry out appeal of lower court ruling overturning his death sentence

  • Decision was initially launched by Justice Department under President Trump

  • Three people were killed and more than 260 wounded in the 2013 attack

Crackdown on terrorists and their sympathisers: NIA raids multiple locations in J&K
Summarizing the events of the last few days, but it gives us all the names and locations in one article.
[OneIndia] As part of its massive crackdown against hard boyz and their sympathisers in the aftermath of the civilian killings, the National Investigation Agency conducted raids at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
The raids that were conducted at Chattabal, Chanapora and Solina are aimed at cracking down on the Overground Workers of terror groups. While The Resistance® Front has grabbed credit for the killings, the NIA is also looking into the roles of the operatives part of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba, Hizbul Mujahideen
...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003...
and al-Badr.

The NIA in an official statement said that it had conducted raids at multiple locations in connection with the J&K terrorism conspiracy case. The case pertains to the conspiracy of conducting violent mostly peaceful terror acts in J&K and other major cities by the cadres of the proscribed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Tayiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad
...literally Army of Mohammad, a Pak-based Deobandi terror group founded by Maulana Masood Azhar in 2000, after he split with the Harkat-ul-Mujaheddin. In 2002 the government of Pervez Musharraf banned the group, which changed its name to Khaddam ul-Islam and continued doing what it had been doing before without missing a beat...
, Hizbul Mujahideen and their affiliates al-Badr, The Resistance® Front, People Against Fascist Forces, Mujahideen Ghazwatul Hind etc.

Official sources tell OneIndia that there has been a crackdown, following the recent killings. Unknown pistol wielding hard boyz have been carrying out the killings. It is important to break the chain to stop the killings. There is very little intelligence on these persons and hence they have not been profiled, which makes the job of tracking them difficult, the official cited above said.

With the Indian Army enhancing border patrolling, the number of infiltrations have gone down drastically. This has led to these Pakistain backed hard boyz to carry out attacks in which they are identifying soft target an official also said.

Iraq election results see giant parties fall, unexpected victories
[Rudaw] Iraq’s parliamentary election, as expected, handed a victory to the Sadrist bloc, but also dealt a major defeat to Iran-backed parties.

#1  Dominating the Sunni vote, parliament speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi and his Taqaddum Party won 43 seats, while the Azm Alliance of rival business tycoon Khamis al-Khanjar took 20. Halbousi’s formula has relied on supporting infrastructure projects in his hometown of Ramadi, securing public sector appointments for Sunnis in Western and Northern Iraq, and adopting a pragmatic secular approach to Iraqi politics. The rise of both Halbousi and Khanjar has decimated former large Sunni players like the Muslim Brotherhood-influenced Iraqi Islamic Party and the brothers Osama and Atheel al-Nujaifi, who for years overshadowed the Sunni scene in Iraq. However, they were also seen as contributors to the sectarian politics that saw Sunni areas ravaged by the rise of the Islamic State.

The Sadrist Movement won the election with 73 seats, followed by the Progress Party which had 41, the State of Law Coalition with 37, the KDP with 32, independent candidates winning 20, the PUK finishing with 17, the Azm Alliance with 15, the Fatah Alliance with 14, the Emtidad Movement and Jil Jadid Movement with 9 each, 6 which were won by the Ishraqat Kanoon, the Alliance of National State Forces (which includes the National Wisdom Movement and the Victory Alliance) mustering 5, the Babylon Movement with 4, the Tasmeem and Kurdistan Islamic Movement having 3 apiece, and the Al-Adel Group, the Islamic Virtue Party, the Hoquq Movement, and the Iktidar Watan Movement all with one seat each.
