[ToloNews] Close aides to Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef, a former ambassador of Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... for Pakistain during their regime in Kabul, said that security forces surrounded and raided Zaeef's residence in Kabul on Saturday night and that the siege continued until Sunday afternoon.
All ways connecting to Zaeef's house were closed by security forces, Zaeef's aides said, adding that the security forces raided Zaeef's residence at around 9am Kabul time. In a short faceoff with Zaeef's security guards, the sources said, one of them was slightly injured.
"Police vehicles came and were patrolling in the area and they had surrounded Salam Zaeef's house," said Azizullah, a resident of the area.
"I saw military vehicles when in the area when I woke up in the morning," said Nek Mohammad, a resident of the area.
Meanwhile, ...back at the shootout, Butch clutched at his other leg...... Salam Zaeef said that he had just returned from Kandahar when he witnessed the incident around his house.
"We heard sounds and we wondered what has happened. They (security forces) were trying to come inside the house. But they were not allowed by them (his security forces). After that, I made calls. I called to security (agencies), to Mr. (former President Hamid) Karzai and asked him that what has happened," Zaeef told TOLOnews.
Zaeef, who has been engaged in the peace talks, was Taliban’s ambassador to Pakistain before the US invasion of Afghanistan. He attended Moscow talks on Afghan peace in February and also he attended the Doha talks.
"I am cooperating in the grinding of the peace processor. This is my demand and my ambition that peace should come to Afghanistan. I have not done anything against anyone. I have no idea about it. Anyone who is doing this should find the motivation behind it."
He was detained in Pakistain in the fall of 2001 and held until 2005 in the Guantanamo Bay detainment camp. The United Nations ...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society... removed Zaeef from its list of holy warriors in July 2010.
Following the US invasion, Zaeef was forced to end his news conferences, seized by Pak authorities, and handed over to American operatives.
Zaeef was released from Guantanamo in the summer of 2005. He has started a normal life in Kabul and also continued his political activities.
Nusrat Rahimi, a front man for Ministry of Interior, said rejected the news on raiding Mullah Zaeef’s house.
H said the Kabul Garrison forces conducted an operation to arrest Mullah Tokhi, a wanted criminal and a land grabber, whose house is located close to that of Mullah Zaeef.
He said Mullah Tokhi was placed in durance vile Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! in the operation and that a number of weapons were confiscated from his house.
[Libya Observer] The Libyan Fatwa House has expressed sadness for the "terrorist attacks on Moslems" in two New Zealand mosques, where tens were killed and others injured as they were praying.
The Fatwa House added in a statement on Saturday that the terrorist attack was not an individual act or an act of an insane person, rather it was driven by the culture of hatred and violence fueled by western thinkers to target Islam and Moslems.
It also said that the New Zealand attacks came as part of a string of attacks targeting Moslems in the western world and this kind of behavior is part of the war on Islam.

[PULSE.NG] The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has condemned the alleged killing of Christians in some parts of the country.
The group made this known in a statement issued to newsmen by its front man, Comrade Samuel Edeson in Ebonyi state.
MASSOB also called on Igbos to be vigilant and take on the responsibility of securing their areas.
The statement reads: "It is very unfortunate that these ethnic cleansing commenced immediately after presidential election which INEC was subjected to announce Mohammed Buhari as winner.
"MASSOB remind the citizens that prior to the presidential election mostly within the campaign periods, the terrorist activities of Fulani herdsmen suddenly reduced because Mohammadu Buhari and his Fulani cabals controlling Nigeria Federal government does not want to refresh the damaging effects of the activities of Fulani herdsmen in the consciousness of the people because of their votes.
"It is very disheartening that overwhelming evidences abounds on the incessant, systematic and well coordinated attacks, killings and ethnic cleansing of Christian dominated villages of Kaduna, Taraba, Benue, Plateau and Ebonyi States recently after presidential election that was executed by Fulani herdsmen. The security agents in their bid to deceive the international communities will label the attackers as button men instead of the real culprits.

[IsraelTimes] New Zealand mosque shooting suspect Brenton Tarrant visited Israel in 2016 for several days, Channel 13 news reports, as more details about the gunman emerge.
A senior immigration official tells the TV news station that Tarrant arrived in Israel from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor.... on October 25 using his Australian passport. He was granted a 90-day tourist visa, and left the country nine days later.
The official says Tarrant did not raise red flags during security checks.
Earlier on Sunday, police in Greece said Tarrant had visited the Greek islands of Crete and Santorini, and had traveled through the country twice, all in 2016.
Authorities in Bulgaria, Turkey, Croatia, and Hungary have also confirmed visits by Tarrant between 2016 and 2018, as he apparently studied battles between Christians and the Ottoman Empire.
In a statement, Greek police said Tarrant entered the country twice in 2016 on transit flights on November 29 and December 10.
In March 2016, he entered the country on a flight from Istanbul and stayed for a few days in Heraklion, Crete and Santorini.
Authorities are investigating any phone calls or purchases Tarrant made in Greece. On Tarrant’s rifle was written the Greek word meaning "Turk-eater" or, metaphorically, "Turk-slayer."
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The grandmother of the white supremacist allegedly responsible for the massacre of 50 Moslem worshippers has apologised for her grandson's actions.
Marie Fitzgerald, 81, joined Brenton Tarrant's other grandmother Joyce in voicing her incredulity that her grandson was potentially capable of murder. She described the alleged killer as a computer enthusiast uninterested in girls when he was grew up in NSW.
She said his father's death at the hands of cancer in 2010 'took its toll' and prompted seven years of travelling through Europe ...also known as Moslem Lebensraum... and Asia.
Other members of his family - including his sister and mother - have been taken into police protection .
On Monday afternoon an 18-year-old man appeared in a Christchurch court, charged with distributing the livestream video of the shooting and allegedly posting a photo of the mosque with the words "target acquired"; however investigators said he was not believed to have been directly involved in the attacks.
Meanwhile the accused shooter Tarrant said he did not want a lawyer and would represent himself in the case.
Earlier in the day Australian police announced they searched two homes in New South Wales in order to gather material related to Tarrant, a 28-year-old Australian citizen who was from this area.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Ottoman Turkish authorities have officially opened a new border crossing with Syria after completing the construction of a post in the Afrin region.
According to a new report from Syria’s Aleppo Governorate, the Ottoman Turkish authorities opened a border crossing that links the Hatay Province with the Afrin region’s Jandaris District.
The Ottoman Turkish military and their allies from the Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) managed to seize the entire Afrin region last March after fully expelling the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG).
Since the expulsion of the YPG, the Ottoman Turkish military has been working to not only secure the Afrin region but also, establish a new border crossing with the Aleppo Governorate.
The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the most dubious NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... ally.... has now opened three crossings in northern Syria, including one with the Syrian government in the Latakia Governorate.
The other crossing was opened in the northern Aleppo town of ’Azaz, which is part of the new plan with the Russian military to reopen the strategic Aleppo-Gaziantep Highway.

"The trigger for the recent escalation between Pakistain and India is Pulwama, and Pulwama had nothing to do with us. It was nurtured and home-grown in India," he said.
"The present Indian government’s decision-making is done by their prime minister with the national security adviser. The nature of the Indian government is the nature of the deep state which functions through misinformation, sabotage, etc, to carry out their plans or game of getting an extra five years in power. So it is [linked] to political benefit," he added.

[Jpost] Former prime minister Ehud Barak had his phone and computer tapped by Iranians, according to the head of the Shin Bet, Nadav Argaman.
Israel's Channel 12 released a report on Sunday that said an infiltration into the former prime minister's phone was detected about six months ago.
Sources close to the case claimed that it did not seem like the Iranians themselves hacked the phone, but rather purchased the information from hackers. The information that appears to have been taken is not vital, according to the report.
This release came in the wake of last week's report that Blue and White Party leader Benny Gantz's phone was hacked by Iranian intelligence, who managed to steal its contents.

A Jerusalem court on Sunday ordered the temporary closure of a building at the center of rising tensions on the city’s Temple Mount in recent weeks.
The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court said the building known as the Gate of Mercy or Golden Gate on the Temple Mount should be closed while legal proceedings continue.
The site’s administrator, the Waqf religious organization, was given 60 days to respond.
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry rapped the decision, arguing that the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court did not even have the authority to rule on matters pertaining to the Temple Mount because it is "occupied territory."
"East Jerusalem, which includes the al-Aqsa Mosqua, is part of the Paleostinian lands occupied since 1967. The area is not subject to Israeli law," Amman said in a statement.
The point of winning a war and occupying conquered territory is that the conquerer’s law thereafter prevails. Y’all signed a peace treaty because you lost that war with Israel, O Jordan. Or to put it another way, dudes: you surrendered.
The foreign ministry called on Israel to cancel the court’s decision and not harm the status quo at the flashpoint site.
The court order came two days after Paleostinian worshipers ripped the doors off the building shortly after Friday prayers, despite instructions from the Waqf urging calm.
A group of protesters also raised the Paleostinian flag on the roof of the building, which was then removed by police.
The Gate of Mercy was sealed by Israeli authorities in 2003 because the group managing the area had ties to Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,, and it has been kept closed to stop illegal construction work there by the Waqf that Israeli officials said had caused irreparable harm to archaeologically significant parts of the holy site.
Israeli officials believe the work carried out by the Waqf, which refused to allow any Israeli observers, has led to the destruction of antiquities from periods of Jewish presence in the area.
The Waqf has repeatedly challenged the closure, convening and staging prayer-protests in the area that often erupted into festivities with police.
Last month, the Waqf reopened the site and Paleostinian worshipers began to use it as a mosque, despite Israeli attempts to keep the area sealed.
Since then, several low-level festivities have broken out between Paleostinian worshipers and Israeli security forces. On Thursday, police sealed off the entire Temple Mount after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at an officer, who was lightly hurt in the attack.
High-level Israeli and Jordanian officials have been holding talks in the hope of defusing the situation. Earlier this month, Israeli officials traveled to Jordan for meetings, and Jordanian officials have also visited Jerusalem, according to Israeli reports.
The talks were ongoing and the sides have yet to come to an agreement, the Haaretz daily reported this week
Jordan has suggested that the site be closed for long-term renovations. While the Israelis agree, they insist it must first be closed without renovations taking place, as a statement of Israeli authority. This disagreement has reportedly stood in the way of a deal.

Muslim Claim to Jerusalem is Taqijja/Deceit
Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Qur'an. In contrast, it is mentioned 823 times in the Bible, and Zion (which usually means Jerusalem, and sometimes "the Land of Israel"), appears 161 times. Of the 823 mentions of Jerusalem by name in the Bible, 669 of them are in the Old Testament, and 154 times in the New Testament. The Jews are the indigenous people of Jerusalem.
The Jews had lived in Israel almost 2000 years by the time Mohammed was born. Jesus was born in Bethlehem 600 years before Muhammed was born (= 7th Century).
The Qur'an refers to Muhammad's alleged "night journey" (isra) as follows:-"Glory to (Allah) Who did take his servant for a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca) to the farthest mosque-------------" (Subhana allathee asra biAAabdihi laylan mina almasjidi alharami ila almasjidi al-aqsa allathee barakna hawlahu linuriyahu min ayatina innahu huwa alssameeAAu albaseeru"). The claim of being "a holy place" is based on this dream described in the Koran. In the dream, Mohammed "visited" a place referred to as masjid el-aksa, which means "the farthest mosque".
But the El Aksa Mosque in Jerusalem was built about a hundred years after Mohammed. In Mohammed's time, Jerusalem was ruled by the Byzantine Christians, and there were no mosques at all in Jerusalem, not on the Temple Mount or anywhere else. So obviously, Mohammed couldn't have dreamed about a mosque that didn't exist.

A small quibble: you are thinking of Herod’s expansion and modernization of the second Temple, Woodrow. But before that a smaller temple had replaced the rubble of the first Temple; it was designed and built on the orders of Cyrus the Great seventy years after Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the edifice King Solomon had built.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Two of Iran’s highest-ranking commanders made a surprise visit to Damascus, Syria on Sunday as the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Idlib operation approaches.
According to a report from the Syrian capital, the Iranian Army Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri and the commander of the Quds Force for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Qassem Soleimani arrived in Damascus to meet with their Syrian military counterparts.
The two Iranian commanders are reportedly meeting with the Syria leadership at this time; however, it is not clear whether or not they will meet with Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Oppressor of the Syrians and the Lebs... The arrival of these Iranian commanders comes just two weeks after Assad made his first visit to Tehran since the start of the Syrian conflict.
