Migrant caravan HALTS after fights breaks out over rumors of kidnapped child as it's revealed a SECOND caravan is heading for US despite resolute Trump deploying 800 US troops to the Mexican border
[MAIL] Coordinators of a caravan of several thousand Central American migrants moving through southern Mexico urged its members to rest Sunday. At first the migrants vowed to press on anyway but later changed their minds amid reports that a child had been abducted.

The migrants said they would stay and hold a meeting Sunday in Tapanatepec.

Late Saturday night, groups of migrants were running through the town’s streets saying a migrant’s child had been snatched.

Something similar led to a panic at an earlier stop, but was not confirmed.

American military equipment has already begun arriving at the southern border ahead of an imminent troop deployment to block the migrant caravan, while in Mexico tensions have broken out with migrants attacking a local man who was distributing food.

Defense Secretary James Mattis said on Sunday military has already begun delivering jersey barriers to the southern border in conjunction with plans to deploy active duty troops.

#2  When the "migrants" come within sight of the border, the women and children will be moved to the front of the mob.

Then the MSM will go full retard.

#3  When is the MSM not on full retard? And if they put women and children in front of the mob, lob a couple of mortar shells about 100 yards in front of them and watch the fun.

But, hey, the idea of a few carefully chosen people from our side running through the crowd and screaming about an abduction would be fun too. Anything to slow them down. Stall them and delay them long enough and the whole thing might fizzle.

Tunisia’s ruling party consults to form cabinet without Ennahdha
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Tunisia’s ruling party Nidaa Tounes announced on Sunday that it is negotiating with the country’s political powers to form a new government excluding the Islamist Ennahdha party, the second largest in parliament.

This development is the latest escalation of a row with the president’s son that has paralyzed key decisions on the troubled economy.

The ruling party is led by President Beji Caid Essebsi’s son Hafedh, who has been battling to oust the premier for months.

The power struggle previously came to a head in July, when the president himself called on Chahed to resign.

Tunisia is on the verge of a ministerial reshuffle amid an alliance between the government of Chahed and the Ennahdha.

Nidaa Tounes’ announcement is the latest attempt to form a cabinet without the Islamist Ennahdha, accusing the later of aiming to control the state’s institutions and change the will of the Tunisian voters.

The North African country is often portrayed as the lone success story of the Arab Spring of 2011 but more than seven years after the ouster of longtime strongman Zine El Abidine Ben Ali it is still battling high inflation and unemployment and sometimes violent social unrest.

Member of Saudi 'royal circle' ordered Khashoggi murder: UK intel
[PRESSTV] Orders by a "member of the royal circle" to abduct dissident Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi were intercepted by the British intelligence, a report says, adding that they "did not emanate directly" from Saudi de facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

"It is not known if he was aware of them," read a Sunday Express report.

Citing intelligence sources, the weekly claimed that British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) found out about the Saudi plan and "begged" Saudis to stop it.

"We know the orders came from a member of the royal circle but have no direct information to link them to Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman... Whether this meant he was not the original issuer we cannot say," the intelligence source was cited as saying.

An earlier report said Khashoggi, who was recently murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, intended to disclose details of Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
’s use of banned chemical weapons in Yemen.

According to the source, "These details included primary orders to capture Mr. Khashoggi and bring him back to Saudi Arabia for questioning. However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
the door seemed to be left open for alternative remedies to what was seen as a big problem."

Saudi Arabia has acknowledged the murder, yet left many questions unanswered.

Ottoman Turkish intelligence intercepts reportedly show that Khashoggi, who was last seen entering the Saudi mission in Istanbul on October 2, was murdered on bin Salman’s direct order.

Ottoman Turkish media have previously released the identities of Saudi operatives, who had apparently travelled from Riyadh to Istanbul on two private jets and entered the Saudi mission for that matter.

Khashoggi had been there to obtain a document certifying he divorced his ex-wife.

Militias force Yemeni students to say pro-Houthi, Iran chants at school
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Yemen’s information minister Muammar al-Eryani shared a video of a Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
militiaman holding a mic and prompting primary school students in Yemen’s city of Ibb to repeat pro-Houthi and pro-Iran chants.

On his official Twitter account on Saturday, Eryani said: "These are the morals that the Iranian Houthi militias want to ingrain in our children’s brains for generations to come in every morning lineup at schools to destroy the social fabric and obliterate the Yemeni identity by declaring power to the master of the cave, repeating the Iranian cry and changing education curriculums."

He added that the Houthi militias are using children and students as human shields to protect their leaders from being targeted and to appeal to public opinion and the international community in a clear contravention of international laws and human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
that prohibit the use of children in war conditions and endangering their lives.

Oman says time to accept Israel in region, offers help for peace
[DAWN] Oman described Israel as an accepted Middle East state on Saturday, a day after hosting a surprise visit by its prime minister that Washington said could help regional peace efforts.

Oman is offering ideas to help Israel and the Paleostinians to come together but is not acting as mediator, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, the sultanates minister responsible for foreign affairs, told a security summit in Bahrain.

"Israel is a state present in the region, and we all understand this," bin Alawi said.

"The world is also aware of this fact. Maybe it is time for Israel to be treated the same [as others states] and also bear the same obligations." His comments followed a rare visit to Oman by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu which came days after Paleostinian President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial...
paid a three-day visit to the Gulf country. Both leaders met with Oman’s Sultan Qaboos.

"We are not saying that the road is now easy and paved with flowers, but our priority is to put an end to the conflict and move to a new world," bin Alawi told the summit.

Oman is relying on the United States and efforts by President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
in working towards the "deal of the century" (Middle East peace), he added.

Following Netanyahu visit, senior Israeli minister to head to Oman
[IsraelTimes] Transportation chief Israel Katz will travel to Muscat next week to participate in international conference, present plan for train line between Jewish State and Gulf.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Sunday that Transportation and Intelligence Minister Israel Katz will embark on a visit to Oman next week, days after the premier made his own trip to the Sultanate last week in the first official meeting between the leaders of the countries since 1996.

Katz will attend an international transportation conference in Muscat upon personal invitation by his Omani counterpart and the organizers of the conference, a spokesperson for the minister confirmed.

During the visit, Katz will present the regional transportation initiative, which he is advancing jointly with Netanyahu.

The initiative, called "Tracks for Regional Peace," is aimed at connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Arabian Gulf by rail via Israel as a land bridge and Jordan as a regional transportation hub.

This is the first time an Israeli minister has been formally invited to participate in an international conference in Oman, reflecting the strengthening ties between the two countries.

Israel and Oman on Friday confirmed Netanyahu’s trip to Muscat, the first such visit by an Israeli leader in 22 years. Israel and Oman do not have formal diplomatic relations.

Netanyahu frequently boasts of warming behind-the-scenes ties with Arab countries. In another sign of those ties, Israel’s sports minister Miri Regev was in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday for an international judo competition.

On Friday afternoon, Netanyahu’s office unexpectedly announced that he and his wife Sara had just returned from an "official diplomatic visit" to Muscat, during which they met with Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office called the trip "a significant step in implementing the policy outlined by Prime Minister Netanyahu on deepening relations with the states of the region while leveraging Israel’s advantages in security, technology and economic matters."

The last visit by an Israeli leader to Oman took place in 1996, when Shimon Peres visited.

The Netanyahus were invited to Oman by the sultan, who has been ruling the Gulf state since 1970, "after lengthy contacts between the two countries," the statement said.

A joint statement issued by Jerusalem and Muscat said the two leaders discussed "ways to advance the grinding of the peace processor in the Middle East as well as several matters of joint interest regarding the achievement of peace and stability in the Middle East."

DHS unveils Trump's first completed border wall project: 'Walls work'
[Wash Examiner] CALEXICO, Calif. ‐ Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Friday unveiled the first completed border wall project that was constructed as a result of President Trump’s push to further secure the U.S.-Mexico border.

"Walls work, it’s not my opinion," Nielsen said at the ceremony near downtown Calexico, a rural border town of approximately 38,000 residents. "It’s not a tag line. It’s a fact."

Construction of the 30-foot, 2.5-mile-long wall began in February and lasted eight months. Nielsen watched as welders affixed a sign to the wall to commemorate the event. It's now the tallest barrier on the entire 2,000-mile-long southwest border.

"Looking at this, I would not attempt to climb it," Nielsen said.

A plaque with President Trump's name was welded onto the wall after the ceremony as Nielsen and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan watched.

#2  Good. As Ruben Navarette points out:

As a Never Trumper, I didn’t get it. So, I interviewed some Latinos for Trump and I got an earful. Many of them saw themselves not as Latinos but as Americans, and so they weren’t hung up on Trump’s anti-Latino screeds. They didn’t like or trust Clinton, appreciated Trump’s frankness, wanted a strong leader, and thought he was right about a lot of issues, including trade and immigration.

Yes, immigration. What most non-Latinos don’t grasp is that Latinos are ambivalent about illegal immigration. They have a front-row seat not just to the pain of deportations, but also to how many immigrants commit crimes or abuse social services.

In 2016, an astounding 29 percent of Latinos voted for Trump.

And now, two years into his presidency, polls show that his support among Latinos is somewhere between 33 and 41 percent.

India-Pakistan
World urged to shun ‘double standards’ on Kashmir
[DAWN] The ’Kashmire Black Day’ was observed on Saturday across Azad Jammu and Kashmire (AJK) and Pakistain as well as the country’s embassies around the world to condemn the fresh wave of Indian brutalities against innocent Kashmiris being perpetuated to stop their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

Participating at various events held in connection with the day observed to condemn India’s invasion of Kashmire on this day in 1947, speakers urged the international community to shun double standards on the issues of human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
and called upon them to play an active role in persuading India to resolve the lingering dispute.

Warning that the situation in India-held Kashmire was getting out of control in the wake of atrocities by Indian forces, Kashmiri leaders called upon Islamabad to extend to them "full military support" before it was too late.

Minister irked by ‘casual’ response to FATF, APG queries
[DAWN] Finance Minister Asad Umar has shown displeasure with stakeholders for their apparent failure to properly handle and respond to queries raised by global experts about efforts to curb terror financing and money laundering in Pakistain.

The minister was annoyed with the casual response of stakeholders, including officials of the Federal Board of Revenue, Federal Investigation Agency, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistain, National Accountability Bureau, National Counter-Terrorism Authority and Anti-Narcotics Force, to queries of both the Gay Paree-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and Asia/Pacific Group (APG) in their recommendations.

"From now onward, I will convene a fortnightly meeting with each stakeholder to see progress on the recommendations of the global experts," the minister said, adding that no lethargy would be tolerated in handling the serious issue involving possible placement of Pakistain on the FATF black list.

JUI-F chief fails to convince Nawaz to attend opposition APC
[DAWN] Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam
...Assembly of Islamic Clergy, or JUI, is a Pak Deobandi (Hanafi) political party. There are two main branches, one led by Maulana Fazlur Rahman, and one led by Maulana Samiul Haq. Fazl is active in Pak politix and Sami spends more time running his madrassah. Both branches sponsor branches of the Taliban, though with plausible deniability...
-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman met ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf, then by the courts...
at the latter's Jati Umra residence but reportedly failed to convince him to attend an All Parties Conference (APC) being proposed by the opposition parties.

According to DawnNewsTV, despite a two-hour-long conversation between the two leaders, Nawaz remained unwilling to commit and said he would first consult with his brother, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif
...Pak dynastic politician, brother of PM Nawaz Sharif, chief minister of Punjab...
‐ currently being held by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) ‐ before he can give a response regarding his participation.

Later while speaking to media, Rehman commented that PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz and other members of the family were not permitted by the NAB authorities to meet the detained leader of the opposition.

On October 16, an accountability court extended the physical remand of Shahbaz, for 14 days (till Oct 30) in the Rs14 billion Ashiyana-e-Iqbal housing scheme scam.

The JUI-F chief said it was not unusual in politics for two leaders to meet and hold discussions over various matters. Rehman said he and Nawaz were in agreement over the fact that regardless of the latter's participation, an APC was inevitable given the current political climate.

Iraq
Iraqi premier orders tightening security along Syrian border to face terrorist groups
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi stressed on Sunday the need for tightening security along the border with neighboring Syria to eradicate terrorist groups scattered there.

Abdul-Mahdi made the remarks Sunday during a visit to the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command, where he held a meeting with military and security leaders, Iraqi website Almaalomah quoted Abdul-Mahdi’s media office as saying in a statement.

During the meeting, the premier listened to a detailed explanation on efforts exerted to maintain security on the Iraqi-Syrian border and protect Shitte visitors taking part in the Arbaeen religious commemoration.

Abdul-Mahdi further praised "heroic acts shown by the Armed Forces in the fight against Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
terrorists," saying that such heroism will be part of curricula taught at military academies.

He also stressed the importance of taking all precautionary measures to pursuit and eliminate IS terrorist everywhere, particularly in the border areas between Iraq and Syria.

During a parliament session on Wednesday, Abdul-Mahdi was constitutionally sworn in as new premier of Iraq, announcing almost half of the new cabinet.

A total of 220 MPs out of 329 attended the Wednesday’s session, during which 14 ministerial posts were announced.

Iraqi politicians have been in a deadlock over the formation of a new government since an election in May.

Under an informal power-sharing agreement in place since the 2003 ouster of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, the position of Iraqi president goes to a Kurd.

The parliament speaker should be a Sunni Moslem, and the prime minister should be a Shi’a.
Al Arabiya adds:
IRAQI COORDINATION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL COALITION
In this context, political analyst Hisham al-Hashemi, said that ISIS krazed killer group established itself in the western borders of Iraq and eastern Syria, after neglect by both the Iraqi and Syrian governments and with the blessing of the tribes in those areas back in 2014.

Hashemi pointed to the need of providing an Iraqi coordination with the International coalition to counter terrorism on the border as a necessity, noting that this is done by increasing the number of border guards and training them as a professional fighting force and not only a monitoring force on the border.

RISK OF TERRORIST GROUPS
The political analyst pointed out that the anti-terrorism measures on the Iraqi border face a number of challenges and obstacles that may impede the efforts of the Iraqi leadership to confront the threat of terrorist groups, which threaten the provinces of Nineveh, Salah el-Dinne, Anbar, Karbala and Najaf.

Hashemi said that the return of terrorism through gangs operations like blocking roads and staging attacks in the outskirts of cities and villages, are present and the security and military institutions have to face these challenges

He said the numbers of ISIS remnants can be estimated in the areas of the Iraqi desert and southern Nineveh to be around 800 members.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Ayatollah Khamenei: Passive defense against enemies’ onslaught must be scientific, serious
[PRESSTV] Fearless Leader of the Islamic Revolution
...Iran's doddering head theocrat...
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei
...the successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and the actual dictator of Iran...
has emphasized the increasing importance of passive defense in the face of the new threats posed by the Islamic Theocratic Republic's enemies.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting on Sunday with the head and bigwigs of Iran's Passive Defense Organization.

The Leader said, "In the face of sophisticated methods used by enemies’ in their onslaught, the passive defense must be totally vigilant and serious."

The Leader added that Iran's Passive Defense Organization must find scientific, accurate, updated and comprehensive ways to fend off all kinds of infiltration by enemies in the country.

Ayatollah Khamenei also urged officials in all sectors to pay due attention to the importance of passive defense, adding, "If the country’s officials do not understand the importance of this issue and passive defense is not developed in a suitable manner, the country would be exposed to threats, which would at times cause irreparable damage."

"Therefore, officials in various sectors of the country ‐ both military sectors and civil sectors ‐ must cooperate with the passive defense [organization] in full and in any way necessary," the Leader pointed out.

In a decree in September 2015, Ayatollah Khamenei appointed Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali as head of Iran’s Passive Defense Organization.

US military ‘concerned’ Israeli strikes in Syria could cause backlash against American troops
[IsraelTimes] Despite support from the White House, Israel’s ongoing military operations in Syria is increasingly worrying US military officials, the Wall Street Journal reports.

A senior military official tells the paper the Israeli Arclight airstrikes targeting Iran-backed groups in Syria could backfire against the US if Tehran believes Washington is behind the bombing raids.

He says there is a "growing concern" the Israeli campaign could prompt Iran-linked groups to target US troops in Iraq or Syria.

Iran sells oil on exchange in bid to counter new US sanctions
[IsraelTimes] Iran sells oil to private buyers through its energy exchange for the first time on Sunday, as part of its efforts to counter the imminent return of US sanctions.

Only 280,000 barrels are sold out of one million offered, and went for $74.85 per barrel, more than $4 below the initial asking price.

The identity of the buyer remains a secret, with the conservative Fars news agency saying only that a conglomerate of private firms had made the purchase through three brokerages.

The US is set to reimpose sanctions on Iran’s oil industry on November 5, following President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
’s decision to walk out of the 2015 nuclear deal in May.

The plan to sell oil to private companies on the energy exchange was floated back in July by first vice-president Eshaq Jahangiri with the aim of "defeating America’s efforts ... to stop Iran’s oil exports."

The government hopes selling to private buyers, rather than direct to foreign clients, will make it harder for the US to monitor and stop its sales.

She is desperate to go with them, but there is also someone she can’t bear to leave behind: Her 2-year-old daughter, Maria, fathered by the ISIS myrmidon who enslaved her.

She knows her family will never allow her to bring Maria. They don’t even know the girl exists. The only relative who knows is an uncle who took the girl from her mother and put her in an orphanage in Baghdad after they were freed from captivity last year.

"My heart bursts from my chest every time I think of leaving her. She is a piece of me, but I don’t know what to do," she said, speaking to The News Agency that Dare Not be Named at a camp in northern Iraq for displaced Yazidis.
