1.4M Afghans Returned From Iran in Past 18 Months: Ministry
[ToloNews] Afghanistan’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation on Thursday said that 1.4 Afghan refugees have returned to the country from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
in the past 18 months.

Authorities at the Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said that the majority of the returnees were expelled by the Iranian police.

Statistics indicate that each day three to four thousand Afghans return from Iran through the Islam Qala border in Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
"There is unemployment and misery in Iran. Iranian police expel (Afghans). Iranian authorities do not help those Afghans who are sick or have other problems, Afghans face lots of issues there," said Ismail, a returnee.

"In 2020 we recorded 890,000 returnees from all countries, but the majority had returned from Iran. In 2021, we recorded the return of 490,000 people exclusively from Iran," said Abdul Basit Ansari, a front man for the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.
"I was sick and hardly managed to find a pack of medicine. They were not giving us sufficient food at camps," said Sahar Gul, an Afghan who has returned from Iran.

Murtaza is another returnee who was expelled along with her six-year-old child. Three other members of her family were also expelled recently.

"All Afghans go to Iran to find a job, if there is peace in our country, the people will live in peace and comfort, but all people move abroad because of unemployment," said Murtaza.

"In 2020 we recorded 890,000 returnees from all countries, but the majority had returned from Iran. In 2021, we recorded the return of 490,000 people exclusively from Iran," said Abdul Basit Ansari, a front man for the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.

"Fighting is underway in Shindand district, 4000 families were recently displaced from the area, no NGO or government supported us, no one takes care of our problems," said Ghulam Sakhi, a resident in Herat.

"We escaped due to war, it is now 40 years that the country has been at war, we do not want further war, we call on the warring sides to not oppress the people further," said Abdul Latif, a resident in the Adraskan district of Herat.

Press Sudan to surrender Haroun, Bensouda tells Security Council
[Sudan Tribune] Fatou Bensouda outgoing General Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) called on the Security Council to persuade Sudan to hand over Ahmed Haroun to The Hague tribunal.

In a very emotional briefing that took place a week after a visit to Darfur, she underscored that all the indicted former officials are now detained in Khartoum and there no legal impediment to their surrender to the ICC.

Also, she pointed to "credible reports" about Haroun’s wish to be transferred to the war crimes courts.

"I appeal to this Council to prevail upon Sudan to immediately honour Mr Harun’s wish and facilitate his transfer to the ICC without delay," the prosecutor said.

"Additionally, Sudan has to fully cooperate with the Office’s investigations, including through providing unhindered access to its territory; access to relevant records, information and materials as well as protection of witnesses," she stressed.

To explain her pressing request, Bensouda said that the former State Minister for Interior and the militia leader Ali Mohammed Ali Abd-Al-Rahman, known as Ali "Kushayb" were jointly charged with the same crimes.

"Their cases were separated because Mr Abd-Al-Rahman voluntarily surrendered himself to the ICC," she added.

"Sudan is under a legal obligation to surrender the suspects pursuant to Resolution 1593. The Juba Peace Agreement is also clear that all suspects must appear before the ICC and that Sudan should fully cooperate with the Court in its investigation and prosecution of these suspects," she stressed.

During her meetings in Khartoum with the head of the Sovereign Council and the prime minister, she requested Haroun’s handover.

In an interview with The Asharq TV on Wednesday, al-Burhan seemed uncertain about the surrender of the former Sudanese officials to the ICC, despite his previous commitments made before Darfurian victims.

There are "proposals from the International Criminal Court to try the wanted people at home," he said.

Kushayb voluntary surrendered himself to the ICC on 9 June 2020 after fleeing from Darfur to the Centra African Republic following the collapse of the al-Bashir regime.

Central African Republic govt resigns
[DAILYTIMES.PK] The prime minister of the troubled Central African Republic, Firmin Ngrebada, announced on Thursday that his government had tendered its resignation.Ngrebada wrote on Twitter that he had "presented (his) resignation to the president," Faustin Archange Touadera. But presidential front man Albert Yaloke Mokpeme told AFP that he may be asked to stay and form a new government. "We will know within a few hours if the president keeps the prime minister on," Mokpeme said. A former chief of staff to Touadera, Ngrebada had been in post since early 2019.

Central African Republic is the second least-developed country in the world according to the UN and suffers from the aftermath of a brutal civil conflict that erupted in 2013. Touadera was re-elected in December on a turnout of fewer than one in three voters. The ballot was hampered by gangs that at the time controlled around two-thirds of the country, and rebels mounted an offensive in the runup to polling day. Since then, the army, backed by UN peacekeepers, Rwandan special forces and Russian paramilitaries, has wrested much of the territory from rebel control.

Turkey's military operations are funded by heroin and cocaine
Direct Translation of the article. Edited.
[Regnum] A United Nations report notes that Turkey ranks third after Iran and Afghanistan among the countries with the largest volume of heroin seizures in the world. The same report states that drug smuggling in Turkey is carried out under the guise of legal trade. It is emphasized that even during the coronavirus pandemic, this route from Afghanistan, passing through Turkey and the Balkans to Europe, did not stop functioning. The reports also indicate that the use of cocaine has increased recently in Turkey.

Allegations have surfaced that cocaine use has increased in large part due to the "new" conservative rich people.

Yasemin Onei Cankurtaran, Chairperson of the Platform Against Drugs and Addiction, said:

"In recent years, a new segment of wealthy people has emerged in Turkey. Some of them call themselves conservatives. Of course, with the advent of money in people, over time, their tastes and lifestyle may undergo some changes. Cocaine is known as a drug for the rich. As the number of people who can afford it has increased, as the number of the newly rich has increased, so has the amount of cocaine entering Turkey."

The leader of the organized crime group, Sedat Peker, in the videos he published, made several statements about the smuggling of cocaine into Turkey from Latin American countries such as Colombia, Venezuela and Panama. According to Peker, cocaine shipped to Turkey or the Syrian port of Latakia is also shipped to the country or the Middle East via private yachts. Allegations that Turkey is one of the destinations of the cocaine trade based in Latin America are also reflected in the reports of the General Directorate of Security.
We wondered how Turkey was funding its many and varied adventures...

US Senator Criticizes Turkey over Provocations in Libya and Mediterranean
[LIBYAREVIEW] On Tuesday, US Senator, Bob Menendez said The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
was constantly violating international law by threatening Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), by declaring an internationally unrecognised maritime border with Libya, that also interferes with Greece’s EEZ.

US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken said during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing...
, will raise the issue of Turkey’s activities in the eastern Mediterranean during his upcoming meeting with Ottoman Turkish President, His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important...
Responding to a question by Senator Menendez, about what the administration was doing to address Turkey’s provocations, Blinken said he shared concerns about Ankara’s behaviour which he described as "deeply disturbing."

Earlier, Blinken reiterated his support for the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU) to hold the elections as scheduled on 24 December, and for the immediate withdrawal of foreign forces.

Libya’s Foreign Minister, Najla al-Mangoush called on Turkey to cooperate with the GNU with regard to expelling all foreign forces and mercenaries from the country, in order to preserve Libya’s illusory sovereignty.

"We call on Turkey to cooperate with us regarding the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the outcomes of the Berlin Conference," al-Mangoush said in a presser with her Ottoman Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, in Tripoli

Afridi directs PTA to take action against Facebook's approach towards Pakistani, Kashmiri activists
[DAILYTIMES.PK] Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
Chairman Sheharyar Khan Afridi on Thursday directed the Pakistain Telecommunications Authority (PTA) chairman to take cognizance of the ’selective action’ by the Facebook management against Pak and Kashmiri social media activists and take appropriate action in this regard.

The directions were passed during the 18th meeting of the committee chaired by Sheharyar Afridi. Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PTA chairman, delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and others also attended the meeting. Canada-Pakistain Global Congress President Chaudhry Zafar also attended the meeting as an observer from Canada.

The committee also passed two unanimous resolutions to denounce the recent Indian maneuvers and army deployment in Indian Indian Kashmire and the recent terrorist attack on a Moslem family in Canada amid rise of Islamophobia
...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do...
. The committee gave a nod to the roadmap of international visits for lobbying on Kashmir.

Briefing the committee on the future engagement with diplomatic corps, the Kashmir Committee chairman said that in wake of significant reduction in Covid-19 pandemic, the committee delegations would soon be visiting The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
, Central Asian states, US and UK to lobby on Kashmir. He said other than the Kashmir Committee members, the APHC leadership would also be a part of these delegations.

The committee gave a detailed hearing to PTA Chairman Amir Azeem Bajwa over the action taken against the Facebook management over the recent suspension of accounts and pages of Pak users. He said that the PTA had sensitised about concerns of Pakistain and Kashmiris about censorship of activists on human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
abuses in Jammu Kashmir.

He said that the reduction of complaints reflected that there was a change in the mindset of the social media sites management. However,
today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday...
Sheharyar Afridi confronted the PTA chief and asked why managements of Facebook and Twitter did not set up their offices in Pakistain yet. To a recent statement of Facebook management about suspension of several accounts and pages of Pak users, he asked what action had been taken by the PTA against the Facebook team.

He said that why the Facebook team had refused to turn up in the Kashmir Committee meeting and directed PTA to ensure that Facebook representative must attend the next meeting of the committee. The PTA chairman said that PTA was engaging with the Facebook management and would do whatever it takes to protect rights of the Pak and Kashmiri users in accordance with the Pak laws.

He said that Pakistain had directed Facebook management to set up its office in Pakistain. Sheharyar Afridi argued how Facebook management was not adhering to directives of a country with 220 million population and how can any company violate basic rights of over 220 million people. He said why PTA had failed to take action against Facebook management and why the Facebook was not blocked in Pakistain if it fails to comply with the directions of the government.

US troops pull-out from Afghanistan likely to ignite Pak-sponsored terrorism in Kashmir
[Daily Excelsior] The withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan is likely to lead to increased terrorist activities in the Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
Valley.

"Pakistain-sponsored terrorism will likely increase in Kashmir after U.S. troops leave Afghanistan," said Bill Roggio, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and editor of FDD’s Long War Journal, reported CNS News.

"Pakistain has learned that state sponsorship of terrorism works as a tool of its foreign policy, and the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
’s victory emboldens jihadist groups," added Roggio.

Observers fear that the Kashmir conflict may only worsen as the United States detangles itself from 20 years of war in neighbouring Afghanistan.

Moreover, optimism that a cessation in hostilities in Kashmir had been holding was shattered early Sunday, with at least nine people maimed in a grenade attack by a terrorist targeting Indian police, reported CNS News.

India blames Pakistain for the protracted conflict, accusing its neighbour of giving a free hand to terrorists.

Tensions hit a fresh high in August 2019 when the government of India withdrew the special status of Kashmir.

The move infuriated Pakistain, which views Kashmir as the most critical issue in its bulging foreign policy file.

New Delhi says it remains dedicated to fighting terrorism, which gained momentum in the late 1980s. Analysts have long asserted that terrorist groups operate with the backing, or at least muted acceptance, of Islamabad, reported CNS News.

Adding to the regional dilemma, the US is now on the hunt for regional intelligence partners as it draws down its forces in Afghanistan.

Given Pakistain’s longstanding collusion with terror groups, many question whether it could be a viable, reliable partner, reported CNS News.

According to global risk analyst Dennis Santiago, the Paks are "strategically conflicted in places like Afghanistan."

’They play their own game of hill-and-valley power on their land border, making local alliances, sending supplies, and spinning narratives that benefit the interests of the nation of Pakistain," he said.

"These interests that do not align with the interests and objectives of the United States in Afghanistan. It is a region of miniature proxy wars between second-string interests, none of whom believe that the United States is their answer to salvation."

Roggio observed that Pakistain experienced significant internal conflict by supporting the US presence in Afghanistan.

"Additionally, the US should be wary of Pakistain, which has been duplicitous in Afghanistan," he said.

#1  Observers fear that the Kashmir conflict may only worsen

Observers should worry about something else and let us worry about Kashmir. We've handled it despite 'observers' observing things into a mess since the 90s.

All these juvenile excuses are aimed at getting the US to stay engaged in Afghanistan. Watch them get stupider and stupider with time.

Pretty clear that HAMAS is willing and actively seeking out any way to CYA and gain MAXIMUM Negative Press against Israel if their tunnels are destroyed to prevent terrorist attacks.

Biden administration laying groundwork for push to expand Abraham Accords
[IsraelTimes] Rare carryover policy from previous White House faces hurdles as recent Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
fighting strengthened conviction of opponents.

The Biden administration
...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. They learnt this stuff in college, you know...
is laying the groundwork for a renewed push to encourage more Arab countries to sign accords with Israel and working to strengthen existing deals after last month’s devastating war in the Gaza Strip interrupted those diplomatic efforts.

The embrace of the so-called Abraham Accords is a rare carryover of a signature Trump administration policy by President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....
and other Democrats.

The Trump administration put US clout and incentives into landing the country-by-country pacts by four Arab states last year, easing enmity and isolation for the Jewish state in the Middle East that had dated back to Israel’s 1948 founding. The Biden administration saw significant prospects of several other Arab governments signing accords soothing and normalizing relations with Israel. US officials have declined to publicly identify the countries they regard as promising prospects.

Sudan, which signed a general declaration of peaceful intent but has not yet signed on to diplomatic relations with Israel, had been a prospect. Oman, which has a policy of non-interference that allows it to be a broker across the Middle East’s fault lines, long has been seen by Westerners as a likely contender.

But the 11-day war between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", rulers last month has complicated US-backed diplomacy for new Abraham accords.

The Biden administration is considering appointing a former US ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, to a Mideast role that would marshal and potentially expand the country-by-country accords between Israel and Mideast governments.

Two people familiar with the matter confirmed Shapiro was being considered for the job, as first reported by The Washington Post. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly.

US officials also are working to encourage more business, education and other ties among the four Arab states and Israel. They hope visible success there will also promote the bilateral accords in the region, at the same time the US works to advance resolution of the Israel-Paleostinian conflict.

Report: Fears of U.S. Sanctions after Nasrallah’s Bid to Import Oil from Iran
[AnNahar] Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
chief Sayyed His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
...The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...
’s latest remarks about the party’s readiness to rely on fuel imports from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
if the Lebanese state fails to take action, raised concerns of U.S. sanctions on the crisis-stricken country, media reports said on Thursday.

Since 2018, Washington has imposed sanctions on anyone who knowingly enters into deals with Iranian oil companies in order to buy, possess, sell, transfer or market petroleum or petroleum products from the Iranian authorities.

On Tuesday, Nasrallah said if the Lebanese state fails to take action, "we, within Hizbullah, will go to Iran, negotiate with the Iranian government... and buy vessels full of petrol and fuel oil and bring them to Beirut port."

"Let the Lebanese state (dare to) prevent the delivery of petrol and fuel oil to the Lebanese people!" he said, adding, "We can no longer tolerate these scenes of humiliation."

Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady human sacrifice days of Baal Moloch...
has been facing increasingly severe fuel shortages in recent months, with long queues at service stations and some drivers waiting more than an hour to buy even small quantities of supplies.

Describing the situation as humiliating, Nasrallah called on authorities to take a "courageous decision" and override their "fear" of the U.S. to import fuel supplies from Iran, a country under hefty American sanctions.

According to Paul Morcos, the head of Lebanese law firm Justicia, "American laws prevent the import of oil from Iran; this would expose Lebanon, if Nasrallah does what he announced, to U.S. sanctions," he told Asharq el-Awsat newspaper.

On the other hand, MP Fares Soaid, head of the Our Lady of the Mountain gathering told the daily: "The danger of his speech is not in its literalism, but in declaring that the Lebanese state does not exist, and is not protected by law and the constitution, as if there is no president of the republic in Baabda."

Conflicting reports emerged Wednesday evening on whether or not the current government formation efforts have made progress.

Warnings over new wave of displacement in Syria's northwest
[NPASYRIA] Residents of Zawiya Mountain and Arihah, in the southern part of northwest Syria’s Idlib, fear a new wave of displacement that the area may witness as a result of the recent military escalation by Syrian government forces and their Russian ally.

This comes amid rumors of an approaching battle by government forces against the area, especially after reports about the arrival of military reinforcements to the government forces’ frontlines in areas in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, and Latakia.

Since mid-May, areas in the southern countryside of Idlib and the western countryside of Hama, which are subjected to a Russian-Ottoman Turkish ceasefire agreement, have been witnessing intensive shelling by government forces.

High school students struggle with exams in Syria's IDP camps
[NPASYRIA] Around two million children in Syria do not attend school, and attendance rates at schools across the country plummeted with the start of the war with thousands of schools destroyed and teachers fleeing the country, according to the United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

In northeast Syria in particular, the Ottoman Turkish occupation and invasion of Sere Kaniye, Suleiman’s home, has taken a toll on an already-pressed school system. Beginning in 2019, many internally displaced people fleeing the invasion settled in schools near Syria’s Tel Tamr, halting education in the region for months.

There are also physical challenges that prevent Suleiman and fellow students from receiving a proper education. The days are sweltering and the nights are pitch black. The camp is crowded and cramped, and the shortage of water and lack of electricity effects students psychologically, according to Awaz Hakim, an English language teacher from the camp.

"You tell them to come study; by 10 a.m. their water is gone. How can they study in this heat, under the tents? How can they focus?" he wondered.

Hakim adds that to attend the exams, students have to walk up to five kilometers to reach their schools. He further explains that a shortage of teaching staff as well as the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
epidemic and the delay in opening the school aggravated the situation.

EXPECTATIONS
Few have a positive outlook on the results of the upcoming exams for these IDP students.

"Every subject had 50 questions; we couldn’t even answer one," Suleiman says. "We sit the exams, but there is no benefit from it."

Bashir Dhifo, the father of a middle school student in the camp, missed his exam entirely due to the lack of transportation. Dhifo says, though, that he does not expect many of the 98 middle and 12 high school students to succeed this year.

He added, "I am not only talking about my son; all the students in the camp suffer from the same problems. How will they take exams when they do not have books?"

MOTHER TONGUE
Despite the hardships in obtaining an education, Hakim says that students are passionate about studying, especially those studying the Kurdish language.

Prior to the establishment of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Syrian government only allowed Arabic to be taught and spoken in schools; this year was the first year that students in the Jazira region were able to sit exams in their mother tongue. Hakim explains that the novelty of studying in one’s own language is exciting and motivating for the students.

"Everyone loves their language. I love my Kurdish language. Even after we abandoned our homes in Sere Kaniye, we did not give up. We insisted that we should study in our mother tongue, though we were destroyed," he says with a sad smile
