"Women today have less freedom than their mothers!" Nancy Pelosi took the stand today to defend "women's rights to make their own reproductive decisions." Onlookers found themselves befuddled by the rhetoric about the "women's right to choose," since Pelosi should have no way of knowing what a woman is since she is not a biologist.
Trans activists have come out in opposition to this timely recollection of what a "woman" is, decrying Pelosi's "exclusionary and transphobic language." One activist, Jesse Wolfshine, explained that "inclusion of trans people starts with the erasure of women."
Eyewitnesses confirm that Mx. Wolfshine backpedaled and looked flushed when she realized she had used the word "woman," walking back her statement: "Only after women are gone can we progress - I mean, uterused people, since that's a woman part! I mean, that's a birthing person's part!"
Eyewitnesses confirm that Mx. Wolfshine still looks flustered while trying to erase women without using transphobic language, but still accidentally says "woman" after every two or three elaborate euphemisms for "women."

[WAPO via MSN] The Russian military will soon exhaust its combat capabilities and be forced to bring its offensive in Ukraine's eastern Donbas region to a grinding halt, according to Western intelligence predictions and military experts.
"There will come a time when the tiny advances Russia is making become unsustainable in light of the costs and they will need a significant pause to regenerate capability," said a senior Western official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive issue.
The assessments come despite continued Russian advances against outgunned Ukrainian forces, including the capture on Friday of the city of Severodonetsk, the biggest urban center taken by Russia in the east since launching the latest Donbas offensive nearly three months ago.
The Russians are now closing in on the adjacent city of Lysychansk, on the opposite bank of the Donets River. The town's capture would give Russia almost complete control of the Luhansk oblast, one of two oblasts, or provinces, that make up the Donbas region. Control of Donbas is the publicly declared goal of Russia's "special military operation," although the multifront invasion launched in February made it clear that Moscow's original ambitions were far broader.

Thanks to that foolish decision and Biden's insane encouragement, the little clown has caused his country to lose almost 90% of its productive territory and close to a quarter of its geographic territory.

His red line is like every conqueror's red line. He will advance until his forces can no longer do so. Where that point turns out to be depends on how much equipment and ammo the West supplies to the Ukrainians. At the moment, the trickle of aid is sufficient only for Ukraine to lose, despite the torrent of road apples coming from Washington and the European capitals. We shall likely see that red line extending all the way to the Atlantic, and beyond, depending on how hollow Europe's military forces are, relative to their stated capabilities.

The war in Ukraine has proven that the age of industrial warfare is still here. The massive consumption of equipment, vehicles and ammunition requires a large-scale industrial base for resupply — quantity still has a quality of its own. The mass scale combat has pitted 250,000 Ukrainian soldiers, together with 450,000 recently mobilised citizen soldiers against about 200,000 Russian and separatist troops. The effort to arm, feed and supply these armies is a monumental task. Ammunition resupply is particularly onerous. For Ukraine, compounding this task are Russian deep fires capabilities, which target Ukrainian military industry and transportation networks throughout the depth of the country. The Russian army has also suffered from Ukrainian cross-border attacks and acts of sabotage, but at a smaller scale. The rate of ammunition and equipment consumption in Ukraine can only be sustained by a large-scale industrial base.

In the evening of this day, the Russian Defense Ministry officially confirmed the establishment of full control over the entire territory of Severodonetsk. All civilian hostages at the Azot plant were also released. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also recognized the loss of Severodonetsk. So far, there is no clarity on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (killed / wounded / prisoners) in Severodonetsk, Gorsky and Zolote - up to 800 prisoners and more than 1000 killed were declared yesterday.
3. Lisichansk.
The city is in an operational environment. The only road to the city from Seversk is under fire control of the RF Armed Forces.
There are signs of preparations for the withdrawal of the AFU grouping from Lisichansk to Seversk.
Today, fighting began directly in Lisichansk itself and on the outskirts of the Lisichansk refinery.
The battles for Belaya Gora and Privolye continue.
4. Soledar.
Fights for Berestovoye and Belogorovka, as well as near the Artemovsk-Lysichansk highway in the area of the captured Nikolaevka. The pressure on the enemy front north of Soledar will obviously increase in the coming days. The enemy, in turn, will prepare to defend the Soledar-Seversk line.
5. Artemovsk.
Fights in Klinovoe and near Pokrovsky. So far, it has not been possible to completely cut off the Novolugansk and Uglegorsk TPPs. The enemy is still holding Semigorye.
6. Avdievka.
Positional battles near the Avdievka-Konstantinovka highway and on the outskirts of New York. After the build-up of counter-battery work on our part, the intensity of shelling of Donetsk decreased somewhat.
In addition to terrorist shelling, the enemy fires at the DPR army units and targets ammunition depots. Our troops are focused on the destruction of guns and MLRS of the enemy.
7. Ugledar.
Quite intense fighting continues in the area of Yegorovka and Pavlovka. The enemy is trying by his activity to force the command of the RF Armed Forces to reduce pressure in other directions and along the way to improve their tactical position, taking advantage of the fact that there are no large forces in the Uludar direction now.
8. Kharkov.
The RF Armed Forces have seized the operational initiative in this direction and are putting pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Uda, Tsupovka, Dementievka and Verkhny Saltov.
A direct threat to Kharkov and Chuguev has not yet been created - so far, the UAF is gradually taking away what was lost in May during the counteroffensive of the UAF to the border.
9. Slavyansk.
Fighting in the area of the Valley and Krasnopolye, as well as in the area of Prishib, Bogorodichny and Sidorovo. The pace of progress here is still low.
10. Nikolaev.
Positional battles in the Nikolaev and Krivoy Rog directions. The activity of both sides is constrained by artillery.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to inflict intensive strikes on manpower and equipment in Nikolaev, incidentally inflicting strikes on Krivoy Rog and in the Nikopol directions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to fire missiles at Kherson and Skadovsk.
11. Odessa, Izyum, Zaporozhye - no significant changes.

How remarkably foolish it was for the US not to force Zelensky to negotiate seriously in March.... and foolish of Biden in late 2021 to allow, or perhaps urge, Zelensky to rip up the Minsk II Accords and vow he would seize Crimea and gain NATO membership.

"It's obvious why it's so important to America's corporations, almost all of whom immediately weighed in to say, 'We'll fly you to get an abortion at the state of your choice,'" Carlson continued. "Well, of course, employees without families are much cheaper for the company."
In the wake of the Supreme Court decision Friday, various companies such as Disney, Netflix, and Meta have vowed to provide their employees with financial assistance to help them travel out of state to receive an abortion.
"It's much cheaper to pay for an abortion than it is to pay for maternity leave, or an extra name on the insurance policy," Carlson said. "So, it's all about the money for corporate America. It always is. Families are bad for big corporations. Therefore, they're against families."
Since May, abortion-rights advocates have feared that the Supreme Court would strike down Roe v. Wade. The fears began when Politico published a leaked draft opinion in which Associate Justice Samuel Alito called the decision "egregiously wrong from the start."

One of the biggest changes will be with minors. A 14 year old can currently get an abortion without parental knowledge or consent. It'll be much tougher to hide an out of state trip.

Today, with the overturning of Roe v Wade, Trump’s legacy has been cemented as one of the greatest pro-life presidents in the history of our nation.
Trump is the one who reinforced our courts with three justices that would interpret the law as it was written, not as activists would like it to be interpreted. Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett were all appointed to the court by Trump, allowing for the eventual collapse of Roe, a ruling that has allowed for the murder of millions and millions of innocent lives.
Love him or hate him, you have Trump to thank for this. The goal that many pro-life individuals have been working and striving for was made possible by the man whom many questioned when it came to his views on abortion.
Years down the line, much of what Trump did will be neutralized by bad decisions and incompetence. You can see this happening now with our economy as the work he’d done to repair and strengthen it is being demolished by an administration that clearly has no desire to do what’s necessary to maintain stability.

Trump did good stuff in regard to this, but Moses did not free the Jews. Trump’s three appointments could have betrayed the country the same was all the Nixon appointees did when they established Roe. God arranged for Trump to make three appointments in the first place. But it’s not a plot device from a Hollywood blockbuster or video game. It’s a detail passed along from a journalist in Syria – and what’s more, some part of the report might be true. We've seen at least one similar rumor emanating from a modern battlefield in the past.
The new report emerged on July 7, 2017, when Jenan Moussa, a “roving reporter Arabic Al Aan TV,” an Arabic-language satellite television network with its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, wrote on Twitter that members of the U.S.-supported Syrian Democratic Forces told her American warplanes sometimes dropped an “electricity bomb.” The SDF fighters added that when the weapon went off, anyone carrying metallic items would “burn.”
