Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, reported that the radical preacher surrendered to the troops of 21 Special Armoured Brigade Bama, Operation Hadin Kai, on Monday, May 16, 2022, after he was forced out of his hideout following sustained bombardment by troops of Operation Hadin Kai.

Zagazola noted that ISWAP holy warriors had launched a surprise attack against Boko Haram at Ukuba, a camp that had been repeatedly destroyed by the Nigerian troops but reoccupied by the terrorists, forcing Boko Haram fighters to flee.
Sources told Zagazola that Ari-Difinoma and others ran to hide in a small village located in Mantari village, within the axis of Bama Local Government Area, but were forced out of their hideout by hunger and unending artillery bombardments by the Nigerian troops.
"It was at that point that Mr Ari-Difinoma decided to abandon the rest of his colleagues and ran out to surrender himself," he said.
Alhaji Ari-Difinoma, who is an indigene of Monguno in Borno State, ran one of the radicalisation schools in Ukuba camp in Sambisa Forest under the Darul-Qur’an. He has reportedly recruited many children and youths through his teaching of turban ideologies in the past 10 years.

[SaharaReporters] At least, 30 passengers have been kidnapped by forces of Evil along the Abuja-Kaduna highway, SaharaReporters learnt.
An unspecified number of persons were said to have been shot during the attack.
The attack came barely two months after bandidos derailed a Kaduna-bound train, killing scores and kidnapping several persons including pregnant women, some of whom are still in captivity.
The attack reportedly happened around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, leaving many injured, including women and kiddies.
"The victims were writhing in pain by the roadside while cars were parked on the highway," a source said.
Passengers of a Zamfara State Transport Authority 18-seater bus, one Peugeot 406, two Toyota Corolla, a Golf car, and several other vehicles were attacked by the terrorists.
The forces of Evil had left the scene before the arrival of security operatives, a source informed.

The US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York announces that it has unsealed a Brooklyn federal court indictment against Moises Luis Zagala Gonzalez on charges of attempted computer intrusions and conspiracy to commit computer intrusions.
"The multi-tasking doctor treated patients, created and named his cyber tool after death, profited from a global ransomware ecosystem in which he sold the tools for conducting ransomware attacks, trained the attackers about how to extort victims and then boasted about successful attacks, including by malicious actors associated with the government of Iran," US Attorney Breon Peace says in a statement.
Zagala used a number of online aliases, including "Nosophoros," "Aesculapius" and "Nebuchadnezzar" — the Babylonian king who conquered Jerusalem in 597 BCE.
The Justice Department says Zagala publicly discussed his awareness that his clients used his Thanos ransomware, even linking to a news story about the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps contractor "MuddyWater’s" cyberattack on Israeli companies ClearSky and Profero.
The two firms said at the time that they identified and thwarted the attacks before any harm could be inflicted, but were raising an alarm to the methods used, indicating that they could have been employed in earlier hacking attacks that might have gone unnoticed.

Off late groups such as the Lashkar-e-Khalsa, the Freedom Fighter or the The Resistence Front have cropped up in Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... However the Intelligence agencies have learnt that these are deliberate tactics adopted by Rawalpindi to divert attention. In 2002 the government of Pervez Musharraf banned the group, which changed its name to Khaddam ul-Islam and continued doing what it had been doing before without missing a beat... have not grabbed credit for any of the recent attacks in J&K.
Taking into consideration the new tactic by Pakistain, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah directed the Jammu and Kashmir police as well as the security agencies to refrain from using names of new terror groups in the Union Territory. The are only derivatives of Pakistain based globally proscribed groups created by the ISI to spread the narrative of home grown terror in the Valley.
The directive came after intelligence inputs suggested that the Pakistain groups such as the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad-Mohammad have not been taking credit for the attacks as they are under pressure from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

In a letter addressed to the president of the migrant colony the group has asked all migrant and RSS agents to leave or face death. The letter also said that there is no space for Kashmiri Pandits who want another Israel in Kashmir to kill Kashmiri Moslems.
'Double, triple your security, be ready for murder. You will die,' the letter also reads.
The letter came days after the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit government employee, Rahul Bhat. He was rubbed out by gunnies in Budgam district. The attack took place at the Tehsildar's office in central Kashmir on Thursday afternoon.
An Intelligence Bureau official tells OneIndia that this appears to be an off-shoot of the The Resistence Front, which is a proxy for the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
The Lashkar-e-Tayiba had created the The Resistence Front (The Resistence Front) which was the localised version of the group. Now with the heat high on the TRF, the name of the outfit has been changed, the official also said.
[Dawn] Security forces killed two "important and most wanted" snuffies of the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban ...Arabic for students... Pakistain (TTP) in North Wazoo district's Boya area, the military's media affairs wing said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces and snuffies exchanged fire last night in the area during which the two forces of Evil were killed.
They were identified as commander Rasheed alias Jabir and Abdul Salam alias Chamtoo.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, the ISPR said. The two had been actively involved in terrorist activities in the area, it added.
TTP attacks on Pakistain soil have of late seen an uptick.
The previous PTI government and the TTP had agreed to a month-long ceasefire to hold talks last year. However, there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly... the hard boy group had declined to extend the ceasefire after the one-month period ended, accusing the government of failing to honour the decisions reached earlier.
On March 30, the TTP announced the launch of Operation al-Badar against law-enforcement agencies, which led to a surge in its attacks in tribal districts, southern region and other parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Both sources said a team of Pak mediators has travelled to Afghanistan to meet the TTP leadership for talks facilitated by the Afghan Taliban.

Police's Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the deadly blast in Lahore's crowded Anarkali area earlier this year, it emerged on Tuesday.
On January 20, three people were killed and over 30 injured in the blast in Lahore's Anarkali bazaar, which law enforcement agencies had initially believed was a gas cylinder explosion. Subsequent investigations determined that it was a kaboom. The Baloch Nationalist Army, a newly emerged terror outfit, had grabbed credit for the blast.
The Punjab police on Tuesday said the "terrorist network" was busted through the services of the Safe City Authority, intelligence and other technical methods.
In a statement, it said the two suspects — identified as Sana Ullah and Abdul Razziq — were arrested when they reached Lahore from Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... via truck. It added that the pair was planning to conduct two kabooms in Lahore in a single day.
Two detonators for prepared improved bombs, a primacord, remote control and batteries were recovered from the individuals, the police said.
"The terrorist links go back to an anti-state agency. Anti-state elements in a neighbouring country got this blast carried out after planning," the police said.
Separately, a blurb later issued by the CTD said the two confessed to their involvement in the Anarkali blast and subsequently, a first information report was registered at the CTD cop shoppe in Lahore.
The CTD said that all the main suspects of the blast had been arrested and the department's investigation team would "leave no stone unturned" to ensure their conviction through a legal process.
In March, six faceless myrmidons linked to the blast were killed during an exchange of fire in the general area of Nagao Mountains in Balochistan's Sibi.

Israeli troops downed a drone belonging to the Hezbollah terror group on Tuesday after it entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon Hezbollahstan ...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady days of human sacrifice to Baal Moloch... , the Israel Defense Forces said.
The incident occurred as the military was holding a wide-scale monthlong drill called Chariots of Fire. During the past week, the exercise focused on training for fighting on Israel’s northern front, including against Hezbollah. On Tuesday, the military will be holding one such exercise in the northern city of Haifa.
A statement from the Israel Defense Forces said air control units tracked the unmanned aircraft "throughout the incident" before taking it down.
A picture of the drone released by the military showed a small quadcopter that appeared to be a commercially available model manufactured by Chinese company DJI.
It did not specify how it was brought down as it entered Israeli airspace.
"The IDF will continue to operate in order to prevent any attempt to violate Israeli illusory sovereignty," the statement said.
There was no immediate statement from Hezbollah or affiliated media outlets on the drone downing.

A Paleostinian tried to stab an Israeli soldier in the northern West Bank on Tuesday morning before being shot by troops on the scene, the military said.
The Israel Defense Forces said it received reports of a stabbing attempt near the headquarters of the Samaria Regional Brigade.
"A terrorist armed with a knife began running toward soldiers guarding the area, the fighters responded with gunfire," the military said in a statement, adding that the assailant had been "neutralized."
There was no immediate word on his condition.
No troops were hurt.
Surveillance footage appeared to show a man running toward two soldiers. Reports said he was holding a knife in his hand.
The man came within a few yards of the troops before they apparently shot him.
Images from the scene showed several soldiers standing around a person lying on the ground.
"The order is clear — strike the turbans wherever they are, with all types of weaponry," Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said later in the day after meeting with IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi and other senior commanders at a military base in the West Bank.
"Whoever raises a hand against an Israeli citizen or soldier will have his blood on his head," the premier added.

An investigation into a 2019 strike by US forces in Syria that killed numerous civilians found no violations of policy or wanton negligence, the Pentagon said Tuesday.
The internal US Army investigation focused on an operation by a special US force operating in Syria which launched an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... on an Islamic State bastion in Baghouz on March 18, 2019.
The investigation was sparked last year after the New York Times
... which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... reported that in the original strike the US military had covered up dozens of non-combatant deaths. The Times report said that 70 people, many of them women and kiddies, had been killed in the strike.
The Times report said a US legal officer "flagged the strike as a possible war crime" and that "at nearly every step, the military made moves that concealed the catastrophic strike."
But the final report of the investigation rejected that conclusion Tuesday. It said that the US ground force commander for the anti-Islamic State coalition received a request for airstrike support from Syrian Democratic Forces fighting the bully boys.
The commander "received confirmation that no civilians were in the strike area" and authorized the strike. However, Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... they later found out there were civilians at the location.
"No Rules of Engagement or Law of War violations occurred," the investigation said.
In addition, the commander "did not deliberately or with wanton disregard cause civilian casualties," it said.
The report said that "administrative deficiencies" delayed US military reporting on the strike, giving the impression that it was being covered up.
The Times cited an initial assessment of the incident saying that about 70 civilians could have been killed. Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby said that 52 combatants were killed, 51 of them adult males and one child, while four civilians died, one woman and three children.
Another 15 civilians, 11 women and four children, were maimed, he said.
Asked if anyone was being punished for the civilian deaths, Kirby said the investigation did not find the need to hold any individuals accountable.The probe "did not find that anybody acted outside the law of war, that there was no malicious intent," Kirby said.
"While we don’t always get everything right, we do try to improve. We do try to be as transparent as we can about what we learn," he said.
