Don't Let the SOBs Get You Down
[American Thinker] As with anybody who has ever shared an opinion not sanctioned by our leftist ruling class, I often come across some mind-controlled foot soldier for Marxism online, trashing something I've written and using the same limited vocabulary of vulgarities to tell me why I should do something profane to myself. Oh, well! Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

Sometimes I get called a "damn hillbilly," and I think, "Well, thank you." If Americans — wherever they now live — could reach deep down inside themselves to find a little leftover hillbilly from a previous generation, then America as a country would find the self-resilience, tenacity, and grit to survive with gusto any bad times that might be ahead.

Unlike the political left, I choose free speech over the government's ever-expanding war on "hate speech" and the inevitable mental slavery such criminalization of thoughts and words always brings. That's how tyranny thrives. First, certain language is labeled blasphemous and forbidden by polite society because it "triggers" listeners. Then censorship is justified in order to banish potentially harmful "triggering." Then the list of "triggering" offenses expands until every utterance is circumscribed. And finally, only one government-enforced belief system remains because there are no longer contrary yet permissible points of view.

#1  The Communists in the Soviet Union censored anti-Semitism. So censorship is good when it's done for the right reasons.

#2  The value of the dollar is decreasing daily.

They inflated yet another stock market bubble with their $3 trillion "stimulus" shot into the economy as if from a howitzer. And now we have massive inflation and the mother of all speculative bubbles. And a constant stream of official lies and denial.

Watch how much violence ensues when this bubble bursts as it inevitably will in coming months.

The DOJ and FBI are actively using Antifa and BLM (evidenced by their overt support for both groups of domestic terrorists) as paramilitary shock troops to batter American citizens.

Yes. Obvious now, undeniable.

As has been pointed out previously, BLM and Antifa are to the Democrats as the Irish Republican Army are to Sinn Fein in Ireland. A terrorist paramilitary wing of a Marxist political party.

#3  Eh? The Soviet Union was as Jew-hating as a matter of policy as were the Tsars before them, Shomp Ebbeans2472. Soviet Jews had their internal passports labelled Jew so that everyone would know who they were, because Jews are evil capitalists, donchaknow. There was no censorship of Jew-hatred there.

Though they did vote for the establishment of Israel in 1948, in theiry a pro-Jewish thing to do. But they did so because the leading Israeli political party was Labour Socialist in the British mode, and also to annoy Britain, which didn’t want to let go of the Mandate to rule there they’d been given by League of Nations when the Ottoman empire was broken up.

*Snicker* Have you ever read the Constitution of the Soviet Union? ROFLMAO. The Soviets promised all sorts of 'freedoms' and delivered the Gulags instead.

Same sponsors and organisers (DNC)
Same goal (Shackle Americans from speaking or voting freely)
Same tools and techniques (Terrorism).

Vivek Ramaswamy: Coca-Cola Virtue Signals While Its Products Spread Obesity, Diabetes
[Breitbart] Vivek Ramaswamy, author of Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam, contrasted Coca-Cola’s advocacy for left-wing racial politics with its sale of sugar-based soft drinks in the context of contemporary widespread diabetes and obesity, particularly among black Americans.

Ramaswamy said large corporations posture as virtuous through "woke" political messaging to deflect from the depravity of their business operations and harm caused by their products. He linked Coca-Cola’s sale of high-sugar beverages to the ubiquity of metabolic disease, as well as Nike’s use of inexpensive workers in Asian countries.

Multinational corporations align themselves with false narratives pushed by left-wing news media, Ramaswamy observed. He noted Coca-Cola’s and Nike’s advocacy for narratives associated with the Black Lives Matter campaign and operation.

"Corporate America loves that moment being presented to itself," he stated. "If you’re Coca-Cola, you would rather issue statements about a new voting law in Georgia or teach employees how to be ’less white’ than to deal with your own products’ impact on the nationwide epidemic of diabetes and obesity, including in the black community that it’s supposed to care so much about."

#1  The left invented Doublethink. They are immune to charges of hypocrisy and immune to cognitive dissonance.

No matter how often the right never tires of pointing it out. All that matters to them is power, pure power. If they contradict themselves in a single sentence that's fine.

Prosecutors Find Mail-In Jury Votes At 3AM, Rittenhouse Now Guilty
[BabylonBee] KENOSHA, WI—In a stunning reversal, Kyle Rittenhouse awoke this morning to discover that he had been found guilty after all.

Prosecutors explained that during the night, they had found dozens of mail-in jury votes declaring the defendant guilty on all counts. Apparently, boxes of these mail-in votes arrived in a truck at the courthouse around 3:00 am.

Attorneys for Mr. Rittenhouse were dumbfounded as to how such a thing could have happened, raising questions as to the validity of mail-in jury voting. They stated: "We’ve never heard of this. This isn’t part of the legal system. Where did these votes even come from?"

"How DARE you question the sanctity of our criminal justice system!" cried the prosecuting attorneys. "There is no justice until EVERY vote is counted!"

China-Japan-Koreas
Americans Must Answer Four Questions Before Confronting China
BLUF:
[National Interest] The final question is whether the Americans know what the full cost of sliding to a great power war with a nuclear rival entails, especially over a territory barely miles from Chinese coastal missile batteries. Most Americans are neither aware of how civilization-destroying even a limited nuclear war can be. To give an example, the total casualties of the War on Terror for twenty years, including the 9/11 attacks, were around 12,000 dead and several thousand injured. The number of people dead if a carrier group is sunk in the first hour of a full-contact fight will be more. And that’s not even half a day of fighting, in one specific domain. Not to mention, air force and missile attacks, or God forbid a nuclear showdown. Are Americans willing to go to war for Taiwan, and risk such numbers of casualties?

Ultimately, however, the bigger challenge will not be about facing China in a nuclear showdown. As the brief India-China border clash in the Himalayas (with spiked clubs and hatchets) showed, most great powers now know the risk of a nuclear showdown and are, therefore, gearing up for premodern conflicts below the threshold of war. Same Roman legionnaire tactics are now being seen in the Polish-Belarus-Ukrainian border to defend Europe from weaponized mass migration, a problem that is not just limited to Europe. A far more existential question is whether the Western force structure is ready for such a grey-zone conflict. The answer, given the current American trends, might not be satisfactory.

#4  China's already killed a lot more than a carrier task force's group of sailors, with the collusion of our own bureaucracy.

And Mr. Shomp: Cuba sits there, 90 miles off the cost of Florida, and has been a festering sore of tyrrany for the last fifty-eight years, with no action taken by the US since the end of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Care to try another analogy?

Government Corruption
CIA continues to conceal JFK assassination files. But here's what we do know
[Miami Herald] As a professional journalist who has been reporting on the assassination of John F. Kennedy for almost 30 years, I have long been skeptical about the pursuit of a proverbial "smoking gun" that supposedly will blow open the case of the murdered president. When the congressional deadline for the release of the last of the JFK files approached last month, I instinctively advised friends that there would no smoking gun in the released material.

After all, no serious investigative reporter seeks a single piece of evidence to decisively prove some kind of wrongdoing. To the contrary, good investigative journalism assembles myriad pieces of evidence into a mosaic that depicts a granular story of wrongdoing not previously visible to the public and law enforcement. Most prize-winning journalistic investigations do not depend on, or even feature, a "smoking gun" piece of evidence. So why should the JFK assassination story?

As the editor of the JFK Facts blog, I report on new pieces of evidence that filled in blank spaces in the historical record of JFK’s assassination. Think mosaic, not smoking gun.

But when the Biden White House announced late in the evening of Oct. 22 that the last of the JFK documents would not be released until December 2022 at the earliest, I began to rethink my caution. Friday nights are traditionally when the White House press office takes out the president’s smelliest garbage in hopes that the stench will pass by Monday morning. The announcement that the CIA and other federal agencies had delayed compliance with the 1992 JFK Records Act for the second time in four years was a story the White House understandably wanted to go away.

#2  On the day JFK was killed, a man named George H. W. Bush was in Houston, TX overseeing the operation on behalf of the CIA. To obscure his true location, he called in a fake tip to the FBI that same afternoon from "Tyler, TX". Classic spycraft. Here's the memo from the phone call.

George Bush Sr. displaying "duper's delight", a common psychological reaction to getting away a lie, smiling at JFK Assassination commentary.

#5  The only reason our president would want to keep these matters away from the public would be that they were embarrassing to his party.
There are only two things that could be embarrassing..
One is a Cuban or USSR connection to the assassination, that the government suppressed, supposedly to avoid domestic pressre for retaliation.
This one is plausible since Oswald spent years in the Soviet Ubnion, and was very fond of the Castro regime in Cuba.
The other is a Johnson connection to the assassination, on one to Ruby who killed Oswald. This would have been done to protect the new government from popular anger. No sign of such connections have ever been voiced, as far as I can tell.

Pinkerton: The Last Time Nancy Pelosi Persuaded House Democrats to Jump Off a Cliff
[Breitbart] By a narrow margin, the Democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives voted on complicated and controversial legislation.

Inside-the-Beltway observers, always attuned to political technique, were duly impressed by the muscle used to get the bill through the House. In the words of Politico, “Despite the tough path to passage, the legislation is a significant win for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”

For his part, the new Democratic president—less than a year into office—was delighted. He said of the legislation, “It’s a bold and necessary step.”

So, yes, Democrats were very happy when the American Clean Energy and Security Act passed the House on June 26, 2009.

Oh, sorry—were you thinking that this was about the Build Back Better (BBB) legislation that passed the House on November 19, 2021?

We’ll get to BBB, but just for another moment, let’s keep going down memory lane, back to when House Speaker Pelosi pushed an ambitious—many said, too ambitious—bill aimed at setting up a “cap and trade” system for carbon dioxide emissions. You know, to fight climate change—and perhaps also to enrich her cronies. Indeed, critics ripped the cap-and-trade system as “Enron in the sky,” referring to the crooked company that sought to make insider profits out of its political connections.

Yes, House Democrats were happy a dozen years ago—but not for long. You see, the House bill never passed the Democrat-controlled Senate, which meant that the Democrats who voted for it in the House were left exposed—they had voted for the exotic and expensive legislation, and yet had nothing to show for it. Only downside, no upside: pols hate that.

Indeed, the following year, the blowback against Pelosi/Barack Obama-type overreach cost the Democrats dearly. In the 2010 midterm elections, opposition Republicans picked up 63 House seats—the largest Republican gain in the lower chamber since 1938—and along the way, relieved Pelosi of her speakership.

So now to 2021, when Democrats are once again in the majority, once again led by House Speaker Pelosi, and once again, have passed a big bill, BBB. Needless to say, Beltway media are once again lionizing Pelosi; in the words of Punchbowl News, a split-off from Politico, “Pelosi wins.” The publication added, admiringly, “Pelosi pulled off an inside straight . . . [she] played the long game, waited out all the gripes from the various factions inside her caucus, and got what she wanted at the end of the day.” (As we can see, Pelosi is much admired by inside-baseball types, those who focus more on legislative clout—whip operations and the like—than on actual policy outcomes.)
