[GatewayPundit] On Thursday the FBI announced during a press conference that it thwarted a plot by a so-called “right-wing militia” to kidnap and kill Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and overthrow the state government.
Early Thursday morning, federal agencies raided a house in Hartland, Michigan and arrested six men: Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris, and Brandon Caserta.
Whitmer immediately blamed the plot on President Trump telling the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”
“Hate groups heard the president’s words as a rallying cry, as a call to action,” Whitmer said blaming white supremacists.
It turns out Brandon Caserta, one of anarchists who was arrested for plotting to kidnap Whitmer, actually hates President Trump and is on video calling Trump a “tyrant.”
And now there is evidence a second “rightwing” militia member attended at least one Black Lives Matter protest and was sympathetic to George Floyd and BLM protesters.

23-year-old Daniel Harris from Lake Orion, Michigan. A LinkedIn page corresponding to Harris in that small Detroit-area town lists his current occupation as “security guard,” but indicates he served as a rifleman in the U.S. Marine Corps until last year.
An individual of that name was quoted complaining about excessive use of force by police and alluding to his background at an anti-racist protest in Lake Orion in June.
“It is a shame what happened with George Floyd and instances where law enforcement officers murder an unarmed man/woman who isn’t resisting arrest, was complying with the orders is wrong and need to be stopped. You look at photos and videos of news teams and protesters being beaten by riot police when they are there peacefully, you see people losing their eyes because if an officer shoots them with a ‘non-lethal’ round like pepper balls, or rubber bullets,” Harris said. “I’ve gone through that sort of training and I can promise you weapons like that they can turn into a lethal round.”

Barry Gordon Croft Jr., one of several men charged Thursday in federal court in Michigan, was pardoned in April 2019 for a two-decade old conviction for possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, assault and burglary, according to court records first reported by the Delaware News Journal.
The governor's office issued a statement confirming the pardon, saying it had been recommended by the state's Board of Pardons.

[KhaamaPress] Acting foreign minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar and Turkmen Ambassador to Kabul Ovezov Hoja signed the ratification documents regarding the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Atmar defined Turkmenistan as a "good, friendly and brotherly neighbor", according to the released statement on Friday, October 9.
"Expansion of political, economic and security relations with the region and neighboring countries, including Turkmenistan, is one of the priorities of the foreign policy of the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan", the statement quoted Atmar.
Turkmen Ambassador, Ovezov, reiterated on the importance of cooperation, strengthening regional ties, economic cooperation, and regional trade and transit.
This comes as earlier, a trilateral meeting of Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and the United States was held in the participation of representatives of the governments of the United States of America, the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan on October 8th, 2020.
Through the video teleconference, the parties discussed mutual issues of concern including political, economic, and security matters.
According to the statement, the three nations intended to the following issues:
Commit to engage in greater joint cooperation in support of regional security, economic growth, and development, call on other nations to support Afghan peace.
Preserve and build upon the gains in democratization and human rights made by Afghans over the past 19 years.

The terrorist who killed 22 people in a suicide kaboom in the British city of Manchester in 2017 had attended a protest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to London two years prior to the attack, the Daily Mail reported Friday.
Salman Abedi attended the September 2015 protest organized by the Paleostine Solidarity Campaign, an organization backed by former UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.
There was no suggestion that Abedi was formally linked to either the PSC or Corbyn.
According to the report, Abedi was among a group who traveled from Manchester to attend the Downing Street rally before moving to a second protest outside the United Arab Emirates embassy. The newspaper said the second protest was organized by a British group that supported a Libyan militia with ties to al-Qaeda’s Ansar al-Sharia ...a Salafist militia which claims it is not part of al-Qaeda, even though it works about the same and for the same ends. A public inquiry heard last month that Abedi was associated with six MI5 "subjects of interest" and visited an incarcerated terrorist twice prior to the attack.
According to the Guardian, Abedi had himself been made a "subject of interest," but his file was closed in July 2014 — a year before the anti-Netanyahu protest and three years before the Manchester attack.

Asked about how long Iran would need to build a nuclear weapon -- the so-called "breakout time", he said:

The most recent quarterly IAEA report on Iran last month said it had 2,105.4 kg of enriched uranium, far above the 202.8 kg limit in a 2015 deal with big powers but a fraction of the enriched uranium it had before the accord.
It is also enriching to up to 4.5% purity, far below the 20% it achieved before the deal and the 90% that is considered weapons-grade.
