Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Amalek: Israel's Ancient Enemy Lives among Us
[American Thinker] In the annals of Jewish history, "[t]he Amalekites, descendants of Amalek, were an ancient biblical nation living near the land of Canaan. They were the first nation to attack the Jewish people after the Exodus from Egypt, and they are seen as the archetypal enemy of the Jews. The nation of Amalek is long gone, but they live on as the internal [and external] enemies that the Jewish people battle on a daily basis." Amalek seeks Israel's physical as well as spiritual annihilation.

Dear Reader — take a moment and substitute the word America for the word Israel, and you will begin to see the trajectory of this article.

At the dawn of the American Revolution, John Adams observed, "If the people are capable of understanding, seeing and feeling the differences between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice, to what better principle can the friends of mankind apply, than to the sense of this difference?"

As Mark Alexander writes "[b]ut today, the ability of Americans to discern 'between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice,' is being systematically eroded by leftist politicos, in collusion with their 24/7 Left media and Big Tech enablers, relentlessly seeking to empower the state."

Consequently, America is presently in a battle, not only for its physical well-being but also for its spiritual values. In the world of media, for example, The Atlantic, endorses the "insane racism of Ta Nehisi Coates" while also hosting a film by Steve Jobs' widow that blames Jews for all the Middle Eastern wars. Even the world of sports is being corrupted.

The Marxist Left has vowed to destroy America. Their radical Islamic allies never stop in their all-consuming desire to create a global caliphate. In fact, in 1990, James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute, established a . . . "plan to undermine the Jewish community in America by organizing the Left here against Israel's 'oppression' of Palestinians."

This Russian World War II Gun Fired Bullets Almost Too Fast
[The National Interest] The PPsH-41 submachinegun undoubtedly reigns as an icon of the Soviet war machine in World War II, immortalized in combat photographs and in films such as Cross of Iron and The Tin Drum. Like the T-34 tank and the Il-2 Shturmovik attack plane, the "Pepsha" or "Papasha" ("Daddy") was not only a rugged marvel of mass production, but performed well compared to more expensive contemporaries. Both the Red Army and later the Chinese and North Korean armies would employ the "burp gun" on an unprecedent scale.

The Korean War Started the Trend of Endless Wars for America. How Do We Change Course?
[The National Interest] "The United States is not equipped to solve every global problem. No nation is. In the case of the Korean War, our failure to close that chapter of history has allowed mistrust to fester for so long that détente seems impossible, despite the fact that lowering tensions would protect U.S. interests in the region better than the status quo. Ending the seven-decades long conflict could help transform the security environment in Northeast Asia as well as usher more progress in areas of mutual concern, such as public health and climate change."

#1  Intervene less and utilize the full extent of our capability when deployed. The military should used sparingly, but if push comes to shove they ought be unleashed with a goal of absolute and devastating victory.

#3  We were in a desperate race to catch up. After WWII demobilization (as all previous wars), the military was about as hollow as could be expected. In 1948, the Berlin airlift began when the Soviets shut down access to Berlin from the Western Alliance. Up till then America's commitment to the post war world was to be a garrison policy. With the Soviet acquisition of the 'bomb' (with help from the usual suspects), its post-war atomic deterrence was gone. 'Deep State' in Washington, circa 1948, elected to become the world's policeman, but was without a police force. Peacetime draft was reintroduced. Getting men and materials were prioritized for Europe.

Korea was a side show to all of that. Washington had already decided it wasn't going to win in Korea if it meant losing Europe. After many setbacks and fumbling, by November of the first year we were on the Yalu. When the Chinese communists intervened. The fear in Washington was this could spread to another 'world war' and Europe was possibly in play. We were still mobilizing a large military build up.

As to who won and who lost, the answer is obvious. The UN mandate was to repel the North Korean invasion and reestablish the antebellum border arrangement.

#4  One might argue the Spanish-American War kicked things off. Korea was the start of endless "police actions".
Posted by: Clem || 06/26/2020 7:59 Comments || Top||

#5  The pain of the Spanish-American War was the Philippines. Had the Spanish kept it, there would be no reason for a Pearl Harbor cause the Japanese militarists viewed it as a threat to their seizure of the oil fields in the Dutch East Indies. No Pearl Harbor, no German-Italian declaration of war. We would have sat it out.
Posted by: Procopius2k || 06/26/2020 10:29 Comments || Top||

#6  The US military doesn't win wars any more. It just keeps the peace, more or less, and ensures a steady flow of profit to the defense industries.

Why win a war? It would make the spending stop. Better to keep the enemy around and justify endless conflict.

Moreover the existence of an enemy justifies the stationing of US troops on foreign soil. Bringing them home diminishes worldwide influence. It is the job of the US to midwife a global governance, an eventual superstate that will eliminate war forever. This means some dishonest skullduggery in the present; the future benefits are so sky-high as to justify any misleading actions.

#8  TRUE WAR
1. Plans on how to crush the enemy (not broadcast to the world) with realistic cost estimates. PLans for salting the earth if necessary.
2. Plans on MacArthur style post-war dictatorship to rebuild target nation over the course of a decade.
3. Declaration of War from Congress that should include realistic plans of how to pay for double the estimates from 1 and 2. NAMES MUST BE ATTACHED, no hands vote.

POLICE ACTION
1. Blast and leave. Only Special Forces troops on the ground. This is the Afghanistan plan before we sent troops and demanded democracy.

The Black Lives Matter Movement is the Enemy of African-Americans
American Thinker
The first thing that I have to say is that I am an African-American man living in the Minneapolis area. I have to state this now; otherwise, I would probably be called a racist.
Now you can be called Uncle Tom
Most people think Black Lives Matter is a grassroots, black-created, black-run organization dedicated to fighting racism. It most certainly is not. The Black Lives Matter movement is the creation of a group of a few very wealthy individuals, non-profit corporations, and the corporate media. (Incidentally, 90% of the U.S. media is controlled by only six corporations.)

The official Black Lives Matter website, BlackLivesMatter.com, states that Black Lives Matter is a global network foundation that is active in the U.S., the U.K., and Canada. A global network!

Who funds Black Lives Matter? It's funded by billionaires George Soros (Open Society Foundation), Rob McKay (Taco Bell heir), the Ford Foundation, the Borealis Philanthropy, the Democracy Alliance, and many others. Not exactly what I would call a black-run grassroots organization. If these facts alone don't cause you to rethink the whole Black Lives Matter thing, then you just aren't paying attention. Check out the links here and here.

Black Lives Matter began in 2013 when the media suddenly started focusing a tremendous amount of attention on what they portrayed as the rise of unjustified, racially motivated killings of African-American men by white police officers. That's the way that the media portrayed it, but the facts say otherwise.

Are police shootings of African-American men on the rise? No, they are not. In fact, they are on the decline. According to the Juvenile and Criminal Justice Report, the rate of police killings of African-Americans has fallen by 70% over the last 40—50 years.

Are white racist police the biggest murderers of African-Americans? No, far from it. The Black Lives Matter—media cabal is demonizing the police and portraying them as our number-one foe, but the facts once again say otherwise.

According to the FBI Uniform Crime Report, 2,925 African-Americans were murdered in 2018. Eighty-nine percent of them (2,600) were murdered by other African-Americans. That same year, 209 African-Americans (7%) were killed by the police (justified or otherwise).
How many of the cops involved are black?
...This media-produced false narrative reached its pinnacle with the death of George Floyd. The media have practically deified him. He's in nationwide TV commercials, online ads, public service announcements. He's on billboards. (We are talking millions of dollars in advertising. Who's paying for this?) His image is graffitied on buildings, businesses, and walls from coast to coast. He's on national magazine covers. This list goes on and on. Hundreds attended his memorial service and funeral, which included Al Sharpton (surprise!), the governor of Minnesota, the mayor of Minneapolis, and many big-name celebrities.

So who is this George Floyd? Is he some great civil rights leader? No — he was a violent career criminal with a long criminal record.

George Floyd was released from prison in Houston, Texas in 2014 following an arrest for aggravated robbery. He had been in jail at least five other times. His arrest record included theft, drug possession, and criminal trespass. He was also the leader of a home invasion ring. They entered a woman's home, and Floyd threatened to kill her by pointing a gun at her stomach while they ransacked the place looking for drugs and money. (Check out the link to his criminal record.)

Nice guy, huh? And this is the one that the Black Lives Matter—media cabal is using as its international poster boy. A violent career criminal. Well, at least you can't say they don't have a sense of humor.

The Black Lives Matter—media cabal is not what it makes itself out to be. It is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They pretend to be the liberal friends of African-Americans, but in reality, they are their mortal enemies. The policies that they so aggressively push cause nothing but more damage to the African-American community.

...So sum this up. In the African-American community, where there is the highest crime rate and the biggest problems with drug abuse, they push to release the inmates from prison and put them back on the streets, let drug use and drug-dealing run wild, and then take away the police. What do you think the outcome of these policies will produce? More crime and drug abuse in the African-American community. High crime and drug areas minus police equals hell — easy math. Policies that promote more crime and drug abuse in the black community are what I call anti-black policies. These guys make the KKK look like angels by comparison.

What we are seeing happening in the world right now under the guise of "eliminating racism" — the destabilization of society, the protest, rioting, looting, burning, and killing — is not a mass of spontaneous grassroots events. It's all thoroughly coordinated by those at the top of the Black Lives Matter—media cabal. They are indeed the enemy of African-Americans, but they are actually the enemy of us all. African-Americans are just being used as cannon fodder in their game of global domination.

#8  People have to realize that there can be no African, Chinese, Indian, or Algerian Americans. There are only Americans and non-Americans.

This sort of global dispersal of races and identities into anti-nationalistic interst groups jostling for leverage against majoritarian polities is what Soros and party have been trying to achieve. The destruction of all Nationalism is a recurring theme in the new anarchist wave. In the US, it's these Africanized hordes doing it. In other places, there are others. They all have their historic excuses and police brutality is common to all. They are all mercs of opportunity.

I believe the BLM is a most natural outcome of the 'African American' sub-culture.
Nobody is being used, mislead, or hijacked
. It's a marriage of convenience, between the Democrats who have pioneered the weaponization of tribes to destabilize societies and plant their own stooges, and the wakandans - the Omars and Ta Nehisi Coates whatevers. They raised and protected these footsoldiers for years for this day. Rap and weed addled bastards who only went to school to sell drugs and slouched about in long shirts listening to Sean P 'Diddy'; confident that the rules won't apply to them. The fervent adherence to their culture, their glorification of criminality and spit-in-your-face hostility was always enough indication of their ultimate intent. I have nothing against minorities who gainsay their own primitive cultures and intead uphold the nation's ideals, but the rest are simply effluvium from your past sins and their army. There is only one enemy of African Americans. The Africa in the American.

‘Cut Red Tape Coalition’ Piling Up Deregulation Wins While Flying Under Washington’s Political Radar
Key bit:
[EpochTimes] Club For Growth (CFG) President David McIntosh says there is deep, bipartisan public support for the deregulation being sought by the coalition.

He cites an April CFG survey of 1,000 likely voters by WPA Intelligence that "found 66% support and 34% oppose Congress giving President Trump the authority to waive costly regulatory requirements on American businesses in order to speed the economic recovery from the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
epidemic. This has the support of 91% of Republicans, 62% of Independents, and 45% of Democrats."

Trump is constantly criticized for his controversial Twitter posts, but McIntosh, who worked on deregulation issues for then-Vice President Dan Quayle, sees a tactical plus for the coalition there.

"Everything you did of this nature was going to end up on the front page of The Washington Post," he said, "but with Trump, they’re covering whatever he’s tweeting about, and the agencies can go about their business and not be panicky that they’re not going to be hauled in to explain why they got bad press."
