From 2018: The Buffalo Billion Trial Exposes Cuomo's Corruption
When you hear Cuomo complaining about the lack of ventilators, face masks, and othe COVID equipment, just think about how much medical equipment New York could have bought with the, uh, postage and handling from the "Buffalo Billion".
Bottom line: Andrew Cuomo set out to spend taxpayer billions in the name of economic development, outside the normal controls on state spending. Many of the contracts then went to enrich his donors in familiar "pay to play" fashion ‐ and at least two of his closest associates took the opportunity to line their own pockets.

And when the feds moved in with indictments, Cuomo promised reforms that he then never took and stood in the way of other efforts to make sure it didn’t happen again.

Her colleagues have even gone so far as to propose a “radical takeover” of private health care.

HHS inspector general investigating Trump admin response to coronavirus outbreak
[WashingtonExaminer] An HHS whistleblower claimed last month that more than a dozen healthcare workers who evaluated the first Americans arriving back in the U.S. from Wuhan, China, where the virus originated, did not have the appropriate training or personal protective equipment to treat possible COVID-19 patients safely. The Democrat-led House Ways and Means Committee sent letters to HHS and the HHS watchdog seeking an investigation.

Joe Biden's Sexual Assault Accuser Breaks Silence With Graphic Allegations
The horse doesn’t stand far from its fallen apple. Ick.
[NewsOne] In the interview excerpt, which is posted to Soundcloud, Reade described a graphic 1993 incident where a superior asked her to take a gym bag to Biden "down towards the capital." Then she recalls being called towards the "side area" where Biden greeted her.
1993? Never said anything til now? I have no love for Slow Joe, but STFU
"We were alone and it was the strangest thing," she said. "There was no like exchange really. He just had me up against the wall."

?

Reade went on to say that she was wearing a business skirt with no stockings because it was hot at the time. While up against the wall, Reade says Biden’s "hands were on me and underneath my clothes."

"He went down my skirt but then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers," Reade emotionally continued.

Reade also said Biden was kissing her and saying multiple things to her. She remembered a couple of the comments.

"I remember him saying first, like as he was doing it, ’Do you want to go somewhere else,'" she said. "And then him saying to me when I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing, and I kind of just pulled back and he said, ’Come on man, I heard you liked me.’ And that phrase stayed with me because I kept thinking what I might’ve said and I can’t remember exactly if he said ’i thought’ or ’I heard’ but he implied that I had done this."

#6  I don't believe Republicans pull this sort of thing (and if they did they'd wait until after the primary).

The fact that it occurred in 1993 when evidence and witnesses and prosecution are all unlikely and it didn't come up early in the primaries makes me skeptical of the claims even if he is a known toucher and hair sniffer.

Timing suggests Sanders supporters or someone with buyers remorse hoping to dislodge Biden for Hillary or Cuomo or something.

#7  Buyers Remorse Bingo!!! That is so old, and happens to come out ONLY after the nomination was all but sewn uo, and the discovered that Joe simply was too far gone even for the MSM to cover. Rather than kick the demented old fool to the kick and alienate the DNC faithful trot out this and stand back and look virtuous when this plays out in a suddenly interested CNN. I smell Champ and the cabal's hands in this, its very very their style. Look for NY's rising star to be drafted, and the Wookie to appear at the convention. Cuomo's Prison Workers Say They're Not Actually Making Hand Sanitizer
[Vice] Inmates told VICE that they're really just putting a mysterious vendor's existing product in 'NYS Clean' bottles.

"...according to workers at Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock, New York where the hand sanitizer is being "made," as well as a spokesperson for the prison system, they are doing nothing more than taking existing hand sanitizer and rebottling it into packaging labeled NYS Clean.
...

But according to a NYSDOCCS spokesperson, the hand sanitizer itself is being produced by an outside vendor he would not name; the Great Meadow Facility is only bottling and labeling it. Neither NYSDOCCS nor the governor's office would respond to repeated questions about why the state would need to use prison labor to bottle hand sanitizer, nor did the governor's office respond to questions about Cuomo's pitch that this was a cheaper, more effective option than buying bottled hand sanitizer outright."

New York Health Commissioner Tells People Not To Follow White House Coronavirus Guidance
[DAILYCALLER] A New York’s health commissioner contradicted coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
guidance from the White House on Wendesday, telling people who have been to New York City recently that they should not, in fact, quarantine.

Coronavirus task force member Dr. Deborah Birx on Tuesday urged anyone who had been to New York City recently to self-quarantine, as there was a significant chance they contracted the virus. NY commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker, however, said that part of the White House’s guidance wasn’t necessary.

"I would not follow that. I believe you should follow the guidance in general, you should social distance," he said, according to Wall St. Journal news hound Jimmy Vielkind.

Could a ‘Draft Cuomo’ Movement Be in the Democrats’ Future?
[NATIONALREVIEW] Democrats are publicly talking about "contingency options" for their July convention in Milwaukee in case the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
persists in being a public-health threat. But privately, some are also talking about needing a Plan B if Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant...
, their nominee apparent, continues to flounder.

Some Democrats are openly talking up New York governor Andrew Sonny Cuomo, whose profile has soared during the crisis, as a Biden stand-in. Yesterday, a Draft Cuomo 2020 account on Twitter announced that "Times have changed & we need Gov. Cuomo to be the nominee. Our next POTUS must be one w/an ability to lead thru this crisis."

Charles Pierce, the politics blogger for Esquire magazine, wrote a piece headlined "With Two Words, Andrew Cuomo Established Himself as the Leader This Country Needs Now." He enthused that Cuomo’s news conference last Friday "essentially (shutting) down the economy of his state . . . was a master class in leveling with the public."

Fueled by favorable national publicity that governors rarely get, Cuomo has quickly become the standard-bearer for liberals who don’t want to quickly open up parts the economy at the same time we combat the coronavirus. This Tuesday, the governor tweeted: "We are not willing to sacrifice 1-2% of New Yorkers. That’s not who we are. We will fight to save every life we can. I am not giving up." Last weekend, Cuomo told news hounds he might go into Manhattan himself to yell "You are wrong" at people defying his lockdown.

Democrats are increasingly worried that Joe Biden will have trouble being relevant and compelling in the long four months between now and when he is nominated in July. Lloyd Constantine, who was a senior policy adviser to New York governor Eliot Spitzer from 2007 to 2008, puts it bluntly: "Biden is a melting ice cube. Those of us who have closely watched as time ravaged the once sharp or even brilliant minds of loved ones and colleagues, recognize what is happening to the good soldier Joe."
"Da people have spoke. Now let's find somebody we like."

Pelosi Delays Coronavirus Relief Bill Vote After Not Committing

"House Democrats will now review the final provisions and legislative text of the agreement to determine a course of action," Pelosi said about the nearly $2 trillion emergency relief deal which will be voted on Wednesday afternoon in the Senate after a long night of negotiations. Meaning, the House will not be able to vote on the package for another day. Pelosi also said there is "no way" to pass the bill through the House on Wednesday.

D.C. Mayor: ‘Alarming’ Trump Putting Economy ‘Ahead of Saving Lives’
[BREITBART] D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said on Tuesday that it is "alarming" that President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
is willing to put the economy ahead American lives.
The two, y'see, aren't connected.
"It is alarming to hear the president say that, without medical and health guidance, that he would put the economy, or starting the economy, ahead of saving lives," Bowser said. "Everything that we’ve done is really absent any national direction, so I think that we will continue to follow what we see on the ground in D.C."

Nevada’s Democrat Governor Outlaws Antimalarial Drugs for Coronavirus Sufferers
[BREITBART] Nevada’s Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak signed an order Tuesday outlawing the use of antimalarial drugs for sufferers of the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the "governor’s order prohibits the prescribing and dispensing chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for a COVID-19 diagnosis[.]"

"At this point in time, there is no known cure for COVID-19 and we must not withhold these drugs from those who need them," the governor said in his statement. "The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to stay home for Nevada, not to stockpile these drugs."

Sisolak said he signed the emergency order after receiving a request from the Pharmacy Board, which claims the effectiveness of these drugs to treat the Chinese virus has "not been established," and that "an emergency exists due to the hoarding and stockpiling" of these antimalaria drugs: chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.

This order makes no sense, especially in a world where another Democrat governor, Andrew Sonny Cuomo of New York, has ordered trials of the malaria drug. Saying he agrees with the president, Cuomo announced last week: "We’re also implementing the trial drug:"

#3  As governor he has the authority, Lex. But since he wrote the order because these medicines are not proven, presumably he will write a new order once the FDA approves the stuff.

#5  effectiveness of these drugs to treat the Chinese virus has "not been established,"

That's obviously true for any effect of any treatment or drug wrt the Chinese virus disease since the disease is new.

The data that will be the foundation of studies and research papers is being gathered at present.

#6  Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are already approved drugs, just not labeled for use with COVID-19. Lots of prescriptions are written for off-label use - I don't see why this would be any different. Any medical people out there who can explain it to me?
Posted by: Glenmore || 03/26/2020 1:31 Comments || Top||

#10  RT (I know...): Is there a doctor in the house? Nevada state medical team that banned malaria drug for coronavirus lacks qualification

Pushing the loudest for the restrictions had been Ihsan Azzam, Nevada’s chief medical officer. While Azzam has a masters degree and prior experience in environmental public health and epidemiology, fulfilling the qualifications required to hold the state post, his only experience actually practicing medicine came from an obstetrics and gynecology department in an African hospital over two decades ago.
Azzam is thus not qualified to actually practice medicine in the US, nor does he have any experience treating respiratory conditions, and his advice to Sisolak appeared to some to be motivated more by anti-Trump sentiment than genuine medical concern.

#14  This order is nonsense and will be ignored by all physicians.
I imagine it is aimed at stopping amateur doctors from hoarding the atuff like it was toilet paper, which would create a shortage of it.
The trouble is, too many nasty people understand this and hope to profit from hoarding. It does make sense to outlaw bulk sales to those outside the medical profession or to hospitals or or the like.

New York Health Commissioner Tells People Not To Follow White House Coronavirus Guidance
[DailyCaller] A New York's health commissioner contradicted coronavirus guidance from the White House on Wednesday, telling people who have been to New York City recently that they should not, in fact, quarantine.

Coronavirus task force member Dr. Deborah Birx on Tuesday urged anyone who had been to New York City recently to self-quarantine, as there was a significant chance they contracted the virus. NY commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker, however, said that part of the White House's guidance wasn't necessary.

Birx was nominated by President Barry Obama.

"I would not follow that. I believe you should follow the guidance in general, you should social distance," he said, according to Wall St. Journal reporter Jimmy Vielkind.

This happened despite warnings in Philadelphia 1918 too. It was called the (Spanish flu) "Death Parade". 72 hours following the parade all the beds in the city's 31 hospitals were filled. In the end an estimated 12,000 to 30,000 died.
