The OneWeb 900 sat constellation is being deployed mostly on Soyuz rockets
[Forum.nasaspaceflight]
There are 3 massive sat networks that will soon be launched. The biggest is SpaceX's Starlink, next is OneWeb's and last is a Chinese one. Boeing has a large network in development but not much has appeared, in public, about its launchers or launch time frame. It seems that OneWeb is launching most of theirs on Russian rockets.
Russian rockets and Dmitry Rogozin are intertwined. Rogozin became one of the first seven people who were put under executive sanctions by US President Barack Obama. Wikipedia on Rogozin It would be kind of hard to do this big a deal without Sergey Chemezov being involved too.
plus 5 launches from Bezos
One Web Constellation

We want to thank Softbank, Qualcomm, Grupo Salinas and our tireless, hyper-dedicated, mission driven team for helping to make this vision a reality Our initial investing partners—including Airbus, Bharti, Coca-Cola, Hughes, Intelsat, MDA, and Virgin—have been incredibly supportive during the process, thank you for believing.

So are we to assume the named companies support the Russians over American firms? The SpaceX network will be going up on Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy and later BFR, all made and launched in the USA rockets!

#1  Hmm today's story about Trump blocking Qualcomm sale to Broadcom (Singapore with China ctrl).
Was China trying to wrest control over OneWeb?

#2  Trump blocking Qualcomm sale

That was getting the predictable whining in the comments on all the kneejerk lefty tech sites today.

Hildebeest Says Racist Poor People Voted For Trump, 'Optimistic, Diverse, Dynamic' People Voted For Her
[Daily Wire] On Monday, a woman who was never elected to the presidency, Hillary Clinton, spoke to a crowd in India. There, she laid out the reason she lost: those stupid, stupid poor people.

Yes, Hillary was a blue collar candidate, all right.

Here’s what she said:

"There’s all that red in the middle, where Trump won. Now, I win the coasts, I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that. But what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign, Make America Great Again, was looking backwards. "You don’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women getting jobs, you don’t want to see that Indian-American succeeding more than you are, whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it."

#7  #1 Is that Hilda's paramour in the background? If the Dems get rid of the super delegates, that would sink Hillary in 2020--Unless, she can she run from jail. Comey's not around to save her bacon anymore.

#13  Pretty sure the gin is never in short supply, and she already has Huma for company, what she is lacking is the slightest connection to actual Americans. The have been grifters and manufactured personalities for so long, that she is utterly clueless how to actually be a person, not a construct for maximum sales value to those to whom she sells access to power, except, she has none, and the interest now is getting moldy...

#17  How many excuses has Hillary cited for losing at this point in time? There is nearly a new excuse every day. Therapy and upping the meds might help. I'm guessing Hillary was pushed or tripped down the steps.

GOP Senator: It Looks Like We'll Have a SCOTUS Vacancy This Year
[Townhall] A holdover from last week, which is just too juicy to pass by without comment. This is intriguing stuff from Nevada's Dean Heller, the incumbent Senate Republican who Democrats are most bullish about replacing this November -- in a state Trump lost by nearly three points to Hillary Clinton last cycle. Many observers are framing this comment as a mere prediction, but is it? Here's what he told a legal group in Las Vegas on Friday:

"Kennedy is going to retire around sometime early summer," Heller predicted in Las Vegas last week, according to audio of an event he spoke at that was obtained by POLITICO. "Which I’m hoping will get our base a little motivated because right now they’re not very motivated. But I think a new Supreme Court justice will get them motivated."... "Mike Lee from Utah is probably on that short list of the next Supreme Court justice in our courts," Heller said during the Q-and-A session with the J. Reuben Clark Law Society in Las Vegas Friday.

I can understand why people might view this as an expression of wishful thinking by a Senator who's desperate to dream up reasons why his party's base will be fired up to turn out after all, despite existing red flags. And those flags will get bigger and redder if this race goes the Dems' way tomorrow. The fact that it's close is significant unto itself:

#1  Could be as many as three Supreme Court vacancies within the next few years. Yet another reason the Dems are pushing so hard against Donald Trump.

How video games are fuelling the rise of the far right
[Guardian] Donald Trump’s claim, in the aftermath of the Florida school shooting, that these events are the result of violent video games, resurrects old arguments about whether young people emulate the games they play. The World Health Organisation’s (WHO) recent decision to consider video game addiction an official illness shows comparable concern. However, these responses demonstrate anxiety about the right things for the wrong reasons.

Gaming cultures are connected to violence – but should be considered in terms of the rise of far right political discourse and the prominence of “alt-right” misogyny and racism. While Trump is firmly on the right and the WHO may embody normative centrism, there is an aspect of gaming that should worry the progressive left.

The white male supremacy in gaming has been discussed in the context of the harassment campaign Gamergate and via the link between Trump and gamer message board threads on the 4chan website. Yet it’s not simply that many gamers are right wing, or that the right recruits gamers, but that the logic and pleasure of gaming itself has served and continues to serve the political right.

#1  Calling for politicization of video games as well. The Left cannot allow any cultural sphere to be left alone, it must control what comes out. It's like what China does with its Bureau of Culture, things must be approved for harmony with The Narrative or go back for revisions until they do.
