Long-simmering tensions between commissioners at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission spilled into the open Wednesday as four commissioners charged the chairman with abusive, bullying and misogynistic behavior while the chairman defended his actions and said he was unaware of some allegations. got that one from Holder, huh?
Under questioning, the NRCs four commissioners two Democrats and two Republicans said they had doubts about the leadership of Chairman Gregory B. Jaczko and said they believed agency staffers had faced hostile or offensive conduct by him.
But Jaczko, appointed by President Obama in 2009, said he had no plans to resign and defended his tenure by frequently telling lawmakers I am very passionate about safety. "passionate in as 'I like to threaten yours'"
The hearing capped a months-long investigation by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee into Jaczkos leadership at the nuclear safety agency.
In his testimony, Commissioner William D. Magwood, a Democratic appointee, said Jaczko regularly grew impatient and unhappy at meetings with career agency staffers. "Don't you know who I am?
During one encounter, Jaczko Became increasingly irrational and everyone in the meeting became very uncomfortable, Magwood said, adding that staffers told him that Jaczko sort of snapped.
It was like The Exorcist, Magwood said staffers told him.
At a separate meeting in October, Magwood said Jaczko met with staffers and asked them, Are you on my team?
The people I talked to felt that it was quite clear that the wrong answer could have consequence, Magwood said. anybody that's had a boss ask that, KNOWS there's consequences
Similarly heated exchanges between Jaczko and female staffers left the women in tears, Magwood said. But none of the women are willing to speak publicly, because Magwood said one staffer told him, It's embarrassing enough that I went through this, I dont want to be dragged through the mud before some congressional committee.
Speaking with reporters after the hearing, Magwood said the female staffers had shared their concerns with him in recent weeks and that at least one staffer had filed formal complaints with NRCs inspector general. Fox had clips from the hearing. Dickhead had to sit between the commissioners as they detailed his abusive behavior. Reid, however, vouches for him.

Joe Arpaio is smarter than to run for other office, though he has been offered other jobs. As popular as he is, the most popular politician in the state, he could easily become governor, but he would be out of his element.

Not really. The last thing Bammo needs next year is for his administration to be bogged down with criminal investigations. And imagine the Republican nominee asking him during a debate why his AG is selling guns to Mexican drug cartels -- the impact would be devastating, especially since over half the country still hasn't heard about it.
I expect if we can bring sufficient pressure he'll have no choice but to dump Holder. That said, the replacement won't be any better.

The entire O'Bumble cabinet needs to be hung by the neck from lampposts in DC, for everyone to see. Post their crimes below each, so everyone knows why they're swinging. While we're at it, we could add a couple of dozen senators and a hundred or so congresscritters. Maybe Washington would actually learn something if we did. If we DON'T do it soon, we'll become a banana republic like Nicaragua.

New Haven Mayor John DeStefano plans to ask the state Legislature to allow illegal immigrants who live in the city to be able vote in municipal elections. No.
DeStefano said on Tuesday that the proposal would build a more engaged community and follows the lead of other cities, the New Haven Register reports. Ghostly voice of my sainted mother: "If all the other cities jumped off a bridge would you jump, too?"
The Register reports that 10,000 to 12,000 undocumented residents are believed to live in New Haven. Unfreakingbelievable

There is no way in heck a sane court would allow this, because it hearkens back to, and come to think of it still is, a blatant attempt to corrupt the vote, as bad as the "voting dead" of Chicago.
What other cities are allowing illegals to vote? Are we talking about legally voting?
