According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, the security forces conducted the airstrike in at around 2:10 pm on Wednesday in Sheikh Tash Village of Chahar Bolak district.
The statement further added that the airstrike destroyed a Humvee Armored Personnel Carrier packed with explosives and killed two suicide bombers.
The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the bully boyz had earlier captured the Humvee and were looking to use it in an attack on an unspecified target.

The Kabul Police Headquarters said in a statement the security forces killed the terrorist in the vicinity of 17th police district of Kabul.
The statement further added that the security forces also confiscated two Ak-47 rifles, a vehicle and some other military kits which were in possession of the terrorist.

[KhaamaPress] Unknown gunmen assassinated the police chief of Badghis province in Kabul city this afternoon, the interior ministry said.
Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the gunmen assassinated Sharifullah Chamtoo, the police chief of Badghis at around 12:45 pm local time.
Rahimi further added that the gunmen shot dead Mr. Chamtoo in Ade Ghazni located in the 5th district of the city.
Chamtoo was on vacation and had visited Kabul city when unknown gunmen assassinated him, Rahimi said, adding that the security forces will soon avenge his assassination.
No individual or group including Taliban has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.

"The night raid was launched by Afghan forces on Wednesday night in Khanshin district," the statement said, adding that "forces have seized Pak identity cards from the al-Qaeda member." A local official said 15 Pak IDs were found on the detainee.

At least two civilians—one of whom was a child--and three National Directorate of Security members were killed in a suicide attack on an NDS forces’ convoy in Jalalabad, a spokesman for the provincial governor, Attaullah Khogyani confirmed.
The attack took place at approximately 2 pm in Jalalabad’s PD4 area after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives close to a convoy of the NDS, Khogyani said.
“The target of the bomber was an NDS group known as the “02 Unit,” and the victims have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment,” according to the spokesperson, who specified that “one child was among the dead, and six other children are among the wounded.”
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

“Six Taliban members surrendered along with 18 (male) Daesh members, most of whom were Afghans. Three of these fighters were foreign nationals. And 19 women were also foreigners. One of the women is from Punjab. There are 35 children with them,” said Miakhel.
Meanwhile, Nazar Ali Wahidi, commander of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Nangarhar, said that the surrender comes amid a surge of ground and air operations against the militants.
“Our operations and air raids forced them to evacuate Pachiragam, Tangi Chapar, Tanga Wazir, Tanga Sulaimankhel, Bagh Dara, and Momand,” he said.
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces killed at least 100 Talibs and arrested 88 others during the operations in northern Baghlan province.
The military sources said Friday the Special Forces conducted the operations in Pul-e Khumri and Dahan-e Ghori districts of Baghlan province.
The sources further added that the Special Forces also destroyed a cache of weapons during the operations.
The Ministry of Defense on Thursday announced that the Afghan forces recaptured Dahan-e Ghori district from Talibs after almost three years.
According to a statement released by Ministry of Defense, the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces captured the district late on Wednesday night.
The statement further added that the security forces inflicted heavy casualties on Talibs during the operation to capture the district.

Dahna-e-Ghori district of northern Baghlan province was cleared of insurgents on Wednesday night, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Thursday.
The clearing operation launched a week ago in Dand-e-Shahabuddin, Dand-e-Ghori and Kela Gai areas, the statement said.
“With the continued advance in Baghlan, the security forces have retaken control of Dahna-e-Ghori district, which was in control of the Taliban for more than three years,” the MoD reported.

Darqad district of northern Takhar province has been cleared of bad boys, the Ministry of Defence announced in a statement on Friday.
The operation was launched on October 14 to retake the district, the statement said, adding that "early today the district was completely cleared of terrorists."
"More than 50 Taliban ...Arabic for students... were killed and dozens of others were maimed during the operation, and the bodies of the Lions of Islam remained on the ground after the clash," the statement read.

Jammu & Kashmir director general of police Dilbagh Singh on Thursday said turbans stopped three trucks with registration numbers from Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab, and shot up the drivers near Chittargam in Shopian. They also torched two of the trucks, causing partial damage.
Security forces rushed to the spot after the attack to cordon off the area.
One of the truck drivers killed by turbans has been identified as Iliyas Khan, a resident of Alwar in Rajasthan, while the identity of his associate is being ascertained. The second driver injured in Thursday’s attack has been identified as Jeevan Singh from Punjab’s Hoshiarpur.

The same day, on October 16, a brick kiln worker from Chhattisgarh was bumped off by turbans in south Kashmir’s Pulwama. Two holy warriors, including a suspected Pak national, killed a truck driver from Rajasthan and assaulted an orchard owner in Shopian district on October 14.

There has been heavy shelling by Pak troops along the Line of Control, the de facto border between the two countries, in the past few days.
One woman was killed and four other civilians were maimed in shelling by Pak forces in north Kashmir’s Tangdhar sector on Thursday. Station house officer Tanghdar Waseem Ahmad said that a woman identified as Hameed Fatimah of Hajitera was killed, and four civilians were maimed in the cross-LoC shelling on Thursday.
A civilian and two soldiers were killed in Tangdhar region last Saturday night. Three civilians were also injured in the shelling.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] At least 27 protesters were killed in Iraq on Friday when security forces used tear gas and an Iranian-backed militia opened fire to try to quell renewed demonstrations against corruption and economic hardship, security sources said.
A government intelligence officer and a member of the powerful Asaib Ahl al-Haq militia were killed in a clash with protesters in the southern city of Amara, police sources said.
Nearly 1,800 people were maimed nationally as demonstrators erupted into the streets to vent frustration at political elites they say have failed to improve their lives after years of conflict.
"All we want are four things: jobs; water, electricity, and safety. That’s all we want," said 16-year-old Ali Mohammed who had covered his face with a T-shirt to avoid inhaling tear gas, as chaotic scenes overwhelmed Tahrir Square.
Sirens wailed and tear gas canisters landed in the middle of groups of young protesters wearing Iraqi flags and chanting "with life and blood we defend you Iraq."
The bloodshed is the second major bout of violence this month. A series of festivities two weeks ago between protesters and security forces left 157 people dead and over 6,000 maimed.
The unrest has broken nearly two years of relative stability in Iraq, which lived through foreign occupation, civil war and an ISIS ...embracing their inner Islamic Brute... insurgency between 2003 and 2017. It is the biggest challenge to security since IS was declared beaten.
On Friday, eight protesters were killed in Baghdad, the Iraqi Human Rights Commission said. At least five of them were protesters struck by tear gas canisters in Baghdad, security sources said.
In the south, at least six protesters died when members of the Iranian-backed Asaib Ahl al-Haq militia guarding the group’s local office in Nasiriya city opened fire after protesters tried to set the office on fire, security sources said.
Eight people were killed in Amara city, including six protesters, one AAH member, and one intelligence officer, police sources said. One protester was killed in Samawa.
Interior Ministry front man Khalid al-Muhanna said at least 68 members of the security forces had also been injured.
Rallies had resumed on Friday, with a range of actors from Iraq’s highest Shiite authority to the United Nations urging restraint.
They began early and calm on Thursday evening, with protesters exchanging flowers with security forces and the interior minister insisting police would “protect” protesters.
But by Friday evening, demonstrations across the country had descended into violence that left 42 protesters dead — at least half of them as they attacked the headquarters of armed factions or government bodies.
Thousands massed Friday outside Baghdad’s Green Zone, which hosts government offices and foreign embassies, but security forces used a volley of tear gas to push them back.
Iraq’s mostly-Kurdish north and Sunni west have stayed silent.
In response to protests, authorities have shut roads and imposed curfews and an internet blackout, which has been mostly lifted although social media remains blocked.

The activists arrested are affiliated with left and center political factions in Gaza, among them the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Paleostine ... a breakaway faction of the Pöpular Frönt för the Liberation of Paleostine. The are regarded as the most intellectual of Paleostinian fedayeen groups, smoking cheap cigarettes and drawing heavily on Marxist-Leninist theory to explain their crappy lives. They can occasionally be seen strutting through the streets of Paleostine, dressed up like soldiers and lugging firearms, though they seldom manage to hit anything and then usually by accident. This may be because of their habit of wearing black masks that cut off most of their vision. Calls for a protest on Thursday evening were voiced for the last few days on social media, promoted with the tagline "enough, we are tired!"
The focus of the protest organizers ‐ whose identity is still unknown ‐ was to promote a similar civil protest to the one that occurred in Gaza in March. That protest, focusing on the social and economic strife endured by Gazook citizens, was brutally put down by Hamas.
Paleostinian sources told Ynet that a feeling of fear hangs over the Gaza Strip due to the arrests, and it was very clear that people are afraid to take to the streets.

Friday’s march came after a Qatari envoy reportedly arrived in the Gaza Strip overnight Thursday-Friday to distribute another round of cash payments to 100,000 Paleostinian families in the enclave.
It is the latest in a succession of financial aid delivered by Qatari envoy Mohammed al-Emadi meant to cover fuel for electricity, salaries and assistance for needy families in the Strip from Qatar, which has budgeted some $330 million for the program launched last year.
The individual $100 stipends will be handed out on Friday, reports said.
Qatar announced on May 6 that it would send $480 million to the West Bank and Gaza to "aid the brotherly Paleostinian people in obtaining its basic needs." PA officials later said that Doha would deliver $300 million, primarily in loans, to Ramallah’s accounts and $180 million to Gaza.
In recent months, Israel has quietly provided some relief as part of an unofficial, Egyptian-brokered truce with Hamas, in exchange for reduced rocket fire from the territory and the scaling back of weekly protests along the border. It has allowed Qatar to deliver millions of dollars in cash to allow Hamas to pay its civil servants and has allowed the United Nations ...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships... to step up aid efforts.
